She resurfaces from her coma in 1908 to a small boy tapping her crystal. Waking up, she finds herself thrown into a chaotic world, mixed with thousands of cultures and beings. Join her as she navigates her way through time and to the end of the world, maybe even post-end of the world.

The New God's Creation

All Angels in Heaven turned and stared as a Divine light started to emit from God’s empty Throne. Gabriel, Uriel, Michael and Sandalphon gathered around the Throne and the Seraphim kneeled beside them. The light grew brighter and brighter still as God’s voice bellowed; they were forced to shield their faces with their wings of pure white.

“From this light, My Beloved Angels, I gift us a new life. A new God. My sister. She is to be the ruler of everything that I cannot oversee from up here. The ruler of all Earthly principles. Respect her as you would respect me, for if you do not, the consequences will be dire.” The Light started to shrink, and the Angels peeked through their feathers.

A figure started to become clear as sitting on the throne, one delicate arm upon the side of the Golden Throne, sleeping peacefully.
“My sister shall rule over all of earth and all the planet and stars across the galaxy. Earth is her jurisdiction, any who touch a foot on earth shall be under her domain until they leave.” God spoke once again before the light faded entirely.

The Angels gasped in delight and slight fear as the silhouette on the throne stopped glowing. The woman who slept there was beautiful. She surpassed even the Angels beauty. All who were watching held their breath (Even though drawing air was unnecessary, it was uncomfortable to not), and watched with anticipation as her eyes blinked open slowly. Sitting up and stretching her eyes opened fully, only to be met with the sight of many, many Angels watching her with avid expectation. Her glowing white eyes widened as she felt something or somethings shuffle along her back. Leaning forwards, the new God let her wings spread. Eight majestic wings sprung from her body, each as huge and angelic as the rest. All Angels gasped at the magnificent sight. The Archangels teared up at the sight. It was not everyday one got to witness the birth of a new God.

Yawning once again, the new God stood and looked down. The angels were… Tiny. It wasn’t right that she was so big while they were so small, she thought and concentrated hard on their small stature. Miraculously, she began to shrink. Looking down at herself she giggled. She was only a little smaller than Gabriel, about the height of the Archangel with fire-like hair in the back. Blinking, she turned to smile at the Angels, still kneeling in front of the Throne. Bending down, she took the hands of the nearest Seraphim, giggling again as their expression (As well as the one on the fire Angel’s face) Shifted from confusion to fear to respect and joy.

“Come now, Angels. Do not kneel before me. I have no need for this amount of respect. I may be a God, but you are our Angels. We would never be what we are without you. My name is Azuriel. I am the God of Earthly Principles, Time, Reality, Planets, Stars, Justice, Protection, Creation, Destruction and Immortality. Some of those titles I, of Course, share with my brother, but most of those are mine alone.” She giggled once again, bells chiming each time she exhaled “But then again, Earth has yet to be created.”

Waving her hand, she was instantly clothed, choosing to don a silk white dress with golden clasps on her shoulders. “There. That should do.” Looking around once again, she saw many angels still kneeling, staring at her. Putting her hands on her hips annoyedly, she hmphed.
“Really now. I told you all to get up off the floor! Oh, your poor knees.” Azuriel lamented.

The Angels were quick to do as they were told.

“My Lady, Welcome to Heaven. We are honoured to have you here with us. Is there anything that we can get for you?” The Archangel Michael stepped forward and greeted, graceful and poised as ever.

“No, my dear. I just with to explore a little, if you all would allow me?” Azuriel smiled, gaze briefly hopping toward the empty space where the fire Angel had occupied not moments before.

Gabriel and the other Archangels nodded and motioned for the Seraphim to follow as the rest continued about their duties. Looking out at her wings she tucked them in before placing one-foot forwards and almost falling over. Stumbling a bit, she laughed at herself.

“Oh, dear me. Walking is rather hard.” She muttered before trying again.

Nearly all the Angels had left the Throne room by then. All except one. The Angel with the flaming hair had hidden himself away behind the pillar he had been using as a leaning post, determined to get a better reading on this new God. She was… Strange to say the least. No Holier-than-thou attitude, showed her face, was kind to an Angel, declined and even seemed off put by Michael’s stoic attitude and offer of service. He just couldn’t get a good reading of her. Yet some of him felt a strange connection to this God. Deciding to put her out of her misery he spoke.

“You might find that putting your foot down flat and not so close to the other will balance you out.” Azuriel looked up suddenly.
In front of her stood the Angel with flames for hair. She smiled at him and tried his advice. It worked and she straightened to fully look at him.

“Thank you. I saw you lingering in the background. What is your name, Angel of Fire?” She asked, curiosity staining her words.
The Angel merely grinned before folding at the wait in, what was to be called, a bow.

“I, my beautiful Goddess, am Lucifer, Currently the youngest of the existing Archangels, though I have heard of plans for another to be created.” The Angel, Lucifer, smirked up at her, his eyes burning with an inquisitive fire.

Azuriel only laughed once again before taking Lucifer’s outstretched hand. Lucifer's smirk grew into something real as he gripped her dainty hand and pulled her along, eager to show her the wonders of Heaven.

===========================================================

Time passed and the plans for Earth were coming along nicely. Now Azuriel was here, the blueprints for her planet were almost ready for creation. The still young Goddess was sitting underneath the apple tree in the small garden she had created. She called it ‘Eden’. She loved her Garden and was adamant that once earth was created, it would be transferred down onto her domain. It was relaxing, taking in the scents of the sweet apple blossoms. That is, until Lucifer bolted in, panting heavily as he waved a scroll in her face.

“T-They actually gave it too me! I’m allowed to-to—” Lucifer was cut off by Azuriel plucking the scroll from his hand and giggling as he collapsed into her lap.

“They gave you permission, then.” She spoke softly, running her hands through the fiery locks, drawing a purr-like rumble from deep within his chest.

“Mhm. I got permission to create the newest Archangel. This is amazing! It’s my first big job!” Lucifer grinned, face a picture of pure bliss as the delicate hand swept through his messy locks. Then a realisation hit him, and his face twisted in doubt. He sat up abruptly.

“What if I mess it up? What is my new sibling hates the way I created him? What, what if…”
Azuriel only sighed before pressing a kiss to Lucifer's shoulder.

“My darling, do not fret. I’m sure the new Archangel will love you! In fact, I will even give them my blessing and protection, Like I have done for you. And, love, you aren’t alone. I have also been granted the ability to create the Angels who will guard my Earth.” Azuriel spoke, softness and love creeping into every word as Lucifer relaxed against her once more.

“I know, Zura. I’m just… nervous.” Lucifer confessed, sinking deeper into the warmth and comfort of his best friend. Azuriel smiled softly again, closing her eyes and leaning against the tree, sighing as her hand found Lucifer's soft hair once again.

“I understand, dear. How about we make our new additions at the same time, here in my garden, away from prying eyes?” She offered, tranquillity starting to take effect as she let her mind flow.
Lucifer only nodded.

The next day, both friends were up bright and early as Azuriel and Lucifer prepared to create life. Lucifer would make his Angel and Azuriel would do the same. They would then form their being by bringing down a star from heaven and then Azuriel would breathe life into them. Summoning a blob of an orange-grey substance, soon to be known as ‘Clay’, they started shaping. Lucifer, being the only Angel in heaven with stark red hair modelled his new brother, he had decided, with a mix of red and orange. This new Angel had a lithe body but built with enough muscle that one wouldn’t dare fight him. Azuriel was coming along nicely as well. Her Angel has beautiful white hair, softer than the clouds, and pale, delicate skin. She made his body slightly plump, adding a cute little belly to her creation. She thought it was adorable! Once they were done with the outlines, Azuriel summoned some different pigments, known later as ‘Paint’, and both started adding colour. Lucifer chose the mightiest Gold for his brother’s eyes and Azuriel chose a beautiful mix of ocean and sky blue. In the end, their creations stood merely centimetres away, hands upturned, almost as if they were frozen trying to reach each other’s hands. Azuriel smiled at this, after all, Love was one of her domains.

Walking around her new Angel, she scooped up some more clay and split it into two. Then, with gentle hands, she coaxed the clay into its new shape. With a few whispers laced with magic later, both Lucifer and Azuriel’s Angels had a pair of delicately crafted wings, touched by the hands of a God. Azuriel walked back around to stand side by side by Lucifer and admired their work. Grinning, Azuriel lifted her hands, and she plucked two starts from the sky, One from the Dove constellation, one from the Serpent constellation. She handed the Serpent’s star to Lucifer and kept the Dove’s curled firmly in her hands. Both of the friends closed their eyes and poured their imaginations into the glowing orbs nestled in their palms. Bigger and bigger they grew, until finally they burst from the confines of the cupped hands. Opening their eyes Lucifer and Azuriel nodded at each-other and swapped stars. They each blew a blessing on the other’s star. Azuriel then, in secret, blessed them each with an almost equal sense of good and evil, Human emotion and morality. They then passed the stars back to their creators. Azuriel and Lucifer closed the distance between them and the unliving statues. Taking a breath, they both placed the star against their respective Angel’s chest, where it was slowly absorbed by the bodies. Whispering in the vessel’s ear she spoke.
“Let there be life”

Raphael and Aziraphale opened their eyes.
