Lyra's Book
On your first Hogsmeade visit, you got your friends presents when you all split off from one another. You also tried butterbeer for the first time, and a surprise to all of the wizards there, you didn't like it! Fortunately, you had George there so it wasn't a waste. Later you had met up with everybody, and headed back to the castle. You had a great time there, and since you got a letter asking you to come home, George had to frantically write a letter to his mother when you all got back. I’m guessing he had a surprise for me? Anyways, when you got back to the common room you had time to take up on one of your hobbies. When the fire died out and everyone had gone up to bed, you heard a knocking on the glass of the window. There was an owl, with your name on an envelope. You opened it, and a letter fell out of it. It was an empty letter signed by Lyra and Regulus Black. You thought that was odd, as both were dead, and decided to give it to McGonagall tomorrow to see if she knew what it was or who it was from. All of the sudden, a blue light lit up a map. It showed a path to a small cottage that was highly remote, but you could probably get there with your broom. You took a risky shot at it, and went there. You flew for what seemed like forever, when an orange light in the forest had shown a place to land on your broom. When you got down to the ground, there was a path and white orbs around the area. You could hear them saying your name, as if to follow them. You followed them down the path which led straight to a very secluded house, on the other side of a wall of vines that closed after you entered. It seemed so magical, and mystical, how this was happening. You opened the door to the old looking house, and the inside seemed to be highly taken care of. It seemed you were in a living room with many books that were very dusty. You blew it off of one of the books that caught your eye, and one of the orbs seemed to have a human-like shape to it that was startling close to Marlene Mckinnon. You read the book title “Spirit Seer and Soul Reading” which you almost dropped when you heard a door open. You looked at the door, to see Lyra Black looking as alive as ever and with a sweet and caring smile. You wouldn't believe your eyes, as she walked closer and said “I’m glad you made it.”. She looked at your bag to see some of your notes sticking out about Cerise, and commented “The more you let your abilities unleash, more parts of the secret will soon be unleashed.” and then you felt your body moving and your surroundings changing. Suddenly you were back in the common room, holding “Spirit Seer and Soul Reading” in your hand. You raced up to bed, and hid the book under your bed.
