Birthday Blitz
You all got closer and opened up to each other a lot more, so much so, you hadn't even noticed that it was fall yet. Nobody had mentioned the pendant, but you never took it off and always kept it hidden beneath your robes, or whatever you were wearing. Not for a second did it leave you, not even for a shower or bed and it never rusted or tarnished. Not to mention that this was the first piece of jewelry that has not left you green. You wrote a letter some time ago to the Malfoys, but they had not yet returned it, which slightly worries you. You and George got a lot closer, and he eventually asked you to come over for Christmas, but didn't take it personally when you said you were worried about your so-called “brother”. You still haven't told him about Castor, because it brings up some trauma that you have tried to put in your past, but let's face it- you can't get over something like that…
October 30th, George came running to you at breakfast and exasperatedly said ”You didn't tell us it was your birthday today!” and when the girls heard, they had the same reactions. You told him that you just don't celebrate your birthday because it isn't important to you. The girls ran away, followed by the boys, but you didn't bother seeing what they were up to. You were the oldest of all of them, you turned 12 today. Later you were thinking about how they knew it was your birthday, because the only way they would know is if they looked in your diary, but they have no way of getting to it.
When classes were over, Scarlette and Violet kept you out of the common room, so you went to the Astronomy Tower in your usual spot. You got ahead on some work, until 5 o’clock when the girls ran you all the way to Gryffindor tower. You entered a deserted common room, which was very unusual when all of the sudden-”Surprise!” shouted Hufflepuffs, Ravenclaws, and all of Gryffindor, together which almost gave you a heart attack. You saw Nymphadora and when she saw you looking, she imitated your look and you broke into giggles. The boys picked you up and put you on a throne they claimed was fit for their queen. All of your favorite songs played, food was served, and it was an amazing night full of fun and dancing. You just couldn't resist yourself when Dancing Queen by Abba came on, and they couldn't get you to stop no matter what they tried. When the fire died out, everyone bid their good-byes and departed for their dorm, wherever they may be. It was just Emma, Ava, Scarlette, Violet, George, Fred, and Lee left. ”Thank you, all of you, for the best birthday I ever had! We don't usually celebrate it, but you all showed me the beauty of it!” Ava replied with ”Couldn't have done it without Georgie, he planned everything! From the people to the music!” you all were sitting on the couch and before you were about to go to the dorm, you kissed George’s cheek and whispered “Thank you for everything. I mean it George Weasley!” and you went to your dorm, a blushing boy’s eyes following you. You wrote everything in your diary, and went to bed having just had the best day of your life.
