The Map That Leads To You...

School was going great, and you had tremendous fun making pranks with George, Fred, Lee, and Ava. November 10th was Scarlette’s birthday, and you all had fun dancing, and listening to music, as well as singing in the common room. On November 17th when you were standing by the statue of the one-eyed witch, Fred and Goerge came sprinting to you with old looking parchment in their hands.”Celeste! Celeste! You would not believe what we just snagged from Filch’s office!” George exclaimed in a rush “Does it happen to be the spare parchment in your hand?” you asked to which Fred replied “No silly! It's a map! It tells you things about people like where they are-” “-what their doing-” “-every second-” “-of every day!” said the boys intertwined. “Woah! That sounds so cool! But how are you supposed to see it if it looks like a spare bit of parchment?” and George said “Like this. I solemnly swear that I am up to no good” while holding his wand on the parchment which now read Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs are proud to present to you The Marauders Map. You were speechless as something about the names felt oddly familiar, but you couldn't quite put your finger on it. “It’s going to be the secret to our success!” said Fred as he opened the parchment to reveal all of Hogwarts mapped, with footsteps of people and their names. Suddenly something glittered on the page near the one-eyed witch, so you did as it said and it opened a passageway. It was open for a few seconds, and when nobody entered, it closed. “Wicked!” the twins said together. You 3 used the map to accomplish some pretty wild pranks, while nobody even suspected it was you.

One day when you three were going to put dung bombs in the Dungeons, you were caught by Snape, and were brought to The Forbidden forest as punishment. As you get there, you start hearing voices. The voices seem to be calling you towards them. You asked the twins if they also heard it, and they replied “We haven't heard a thing. Are you feeling alright?” to which you tell them that you are probably just tired. Later as you are still walking with them, you suddenly yelp as you feel your body twist and shake, just like apparition even though you can't apparate in Hogwarts. You appear next to a cave, and the voices are telling you to go in. You allow them to tell you what to do because you don't want to be forced again. When you get inside, there is a glowing pool of water that you dive into that leads to a room with a stone pedestal that holds upon it a glowing stone with gorgeous, glittering swirls of orange and blue. You pick the stone up and you can't remember what happens next. You wake up cold in the forest, deep into the night. You hear the sound of Hagrid calling your name, so they must be looking for you. You hollar for him and when he finds you he asks “Blimey Celeste, what happened? You’ve got blue all over ya!” then you look at your hands and it seems like a shimmery blue was coated un-evenly all over your body, skin still visible. You both make it to the castle, and the blue wears off. As soon as they take you to the Hospital Wing, 2 people come running in, and you recognise them instantly as Violet and George. “We were worried sick!” said Violet, “We thought we lost you!” George said.

You realized there was a pain in your side as Madame Pomfrey lifted up the side of your shirt to look at your waist, then suddenly had gasped at what she saw. You asked her if everything was alright just as Dumbledoor entered the Hospital wing making a b-line straight to you. Madame Pomfrey had shown Dumbledoor, and he had said “Celeste, do you remember anything at all? Anything to help us understand where you have been for the past 4 days?” “$ days? And no, I don't remember anything…” you replied as you didn't remember the stone, the cave, the voices, or the water. Then they ushered the 2 worried friends out, saying they needed to talk to you privately, and when they told you it was the bite of a werewolf, you felt your world fall apart. You knew the damage werewolves can cause, and now you were one. You felt like this monster, like a problem that needed to be fixed, like a mistake on paper that no matter how hard you erased it would still leave its silhouette. The professor had informed you that you could still remain at Hogwarts, but would have to go to the ministry for every full moon. They wrote a letter to the Malfoys, updating them on the situation, and you couldn't help but feel useless.
