Chapter Nineteen- Emmeline Vance
Emmeline vance
Emmeline Vance is a ravenclaw who has been in love with her best friend for over a year.
Tonight she got kissed by Dorcas Meadowes. Which if she’s being honest is a little out of character for her. But it was really a wake up call. Emmeline is looking around for Pandora, she’s going to tell her tonight .
Her gaze meets Pandora who’s sitting next to Remus Lupin smoking a joint. “Pandora!” Emmeline shouts over the music “can I talk to you?”
“Sure” Pandora coughs through to smoke, “should probably look for Sirius anyway, he’s been avoiding me for weeks” Remus says, taking another hit from the joint before passing it on to Lily Evans.
“See you later Remus” Pandora smiles, as Remus walks away. Emmeline grabs Pandora's wrist and drags her to the hall. “What wrong Emms?” Pandora questions .
Emmeline thinks of something to say, anything. “I just. “ she swallows a nervous breath, “pandora” emmeline shoots her gaze into Pandoras
“That’s my name,” Pandora smiles. Emmeline laughs lightly , the two stand very close to each other. “I love you Pandora” emmeline whispers.
“I love you too, emms” Pandora states softly.
Emmeline grabs both of Pandora's cheeks bringing her into a kiss. Her mouth tastes of weed and booze but she doesn’t care. Emmeline only cares about her lips connected with hers .
Emmeline pulls away. “Emmeline , I-“ pandora chokes out, her voice flustered

“Oh no. oh no. oh no. I’m sorry “ emmeline rambles. Dropping her hands from Pandora's face to her own. Covering her face from her, afraid if she sees her it’ll be it for them.
Pandora lifts her hands to emmelines “don’t be stupid love, I love you” she pulls emmelines hands from her face.
“You don’t hate me?” emmeline croaks out, her voice coming out in a soft whisper
“I don’t think I could live in a world hating you “ Pandora whispers back. Meeting her lips with emmelines once more. “I love you. I love you . I love you "Pandora says over and over in between kisses.
Emmeline smiles on her lips “okay , okay” she laughs, pulling away from the kiss again.
“I’ve been waiting for you to do that” Pandora whispers softly.
“You were?” Emmeline asks.
“I thought you were hinting for months that you wanted to , but I wasn’t sure”
“I- yes, yes I was” emmeline states a laugh escapes her lungs . “I wasn’t sure you wanted me to”
Pandora's lips curl into a smile. “Want to get out of here?”
Emmeline nods, causing Pandora to take a hold of her hand and direct her away from the party the two stumble back to the ravenclaw dorms.

Remus Lupin
“Knock knock” Remus knocks on the frame of the door, his gaze falling on Sirius who’s sitting on his bed huddled up.
“Hiya moons,” Sirius whispers softly. Remus has never seen him this small. His voice is soft and his body is curled up burrowing into itself.
“Helô” Remus replies. “Didn't want to party?” Remus asks, shutting the door and walking over to his bed stand grabbing his pack of cigarettes.
“No” Sirius responds dryly.
“Never in my years did I think I’d hear that,” Remus laughs , plopping himself on Sirius's bed.
“Remus?” Sirisus whispered.
“Hm?” Remus hums, bringing a cigarette to his mouth but never lighting it
“I-“ he swallows, “I’m sorry for calling you beautiful. It wasn’t queer or anything like that “ Sirius chokes out.
“No?” Remus asks bluntly, taking the cigarette out of his mouth and dropping it on the bed.
“No” Sirius states, Remus can tell when he’s uncertain about something. And right now he sounds very uncertain. Causing Remus’s heart to flutter.
“Y’know, it’d be okay if it was,” Remus shrugs.
“It would?” Sirius questions, hiding his face behind his knees.
“It’d be more than okay pads” Remus blinks, moving his head to get a better view of Sirius’s face.
“You’re my best friend y’know” Sirius states.
“We’ll id hope I wasn’t sharin all my smokes with a stranger” Remus jokes
“Shut up”
“Yes I know” Remus replies.
Sirius sits up dropping his knees away from his chest. “I thought I saw her down there,” Sirius says softly.
“Who?” Remus questions .
“My mother” he says in a whisper so soft Remus can barely hear him. “Someone yelled and I thought it was her, I saw someone .” He takes a deep breath “ I thought - I thought it was her” he says weakly
“Y’know she can’t ever get you in here, and I wouldn’t let it happen out there either “ Remus states. Edging himself closer to sirius. Who’s eyes are glossed over with tears.
“You wouldn’t?” Sirius croaks out.
“No. I wouldn’t. “ Remus smiles lightly, “ you never have to see her again. Not if you don’t want to”
“I don’t, but I’d go back”
“Why?”
“For him. For regulus I’d go through it all again if he asked me to. But I don’t want to go back ” a tear rolls down sirius face and Remus feels his heart twinge.
“You don’t have to” Remus wipes the tear off of Sirius's face. “You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to” Remus keeps his hand on Sirius cheek.
Sirius closes his eyes for a moment, taking in the comfort of Remus’s hand.
“Sirius” Remus whispers. Sirius opens his eyes “I think you're beautiful too” Remus says softly he’s not even sure Sirius heard him. Sirius’s eyes widen a bit, his eyebrows moving up slightly.
Sirius brings his hand up to Remus’s cheek, he leans in before Remus can react, their lips meet. Remus feels his heart explode. Like it’s about jumping out of his chest.
Remus moves up his other hand to the back of Sirius' head, his fingers going through his hair. Their lips move in a rhythm together as if they were made for eachothers lips.
Sirius pulls away “I’m sorry “ he drops his hand, causing Remus to drop his hands aswell . “ fuck” he mutters dragging his hand hand down his face. “I’m sorry-”
“Sirius” Remus interrupted “its okay . You’re okay” he states moving his hands back to Sirius face bringing his lips back to his.
“I’m sorry” Sirius mumbles into his lips “it’s okay .” remus repeats
Remus pulls away, “alright?” He asks gently, dropping his hands. Afraid any other tone would ruin the moment.
Sirius nods. “I don’t want to do anything to ruin us , moony,” Sirius whispers, Entwining his hands with remus
“You're not, you’re definitely not” Remus whispers, giving Sirius hands an affirming squeeze.
“im not?” Remus shakes his head. “Okay” sirius hums releasing a shaky breath .
“Okay” Remus smiles lightly.
“Okay” Sirius repeats, a smile spreads across his face. Sirius drops his head to Remus shoulder. Remus wraps his arms around Sirius’s, one o his hands carding through his long hair and the other strokes his back.

James potter
James is stumbling to the astronomy tower drunkenly, hoping Regulus will be sitting there when he arrives. It’s like he reads his mind, because when James enters the room there sits Regulus reading his book.
He has a cigarette in between his fingers , “James” he coughs out “I thought you had a party.” He puts out the cigarette.
“Isn’t a party with you reg” he grins, plopping himself down next to James. “Whatcha reading?” James leans his head on Regulus’s shoulder
“Nothing” regulus mutters, shutting the book , James sits up lightly and Regulus adjusts his glasses for him . “Why are you here?” He whispers, tracing his fingers across James’s face.
“Wanted to see you” James whispers back. James can tell regulus holds back a smile. “You can smile for me , love,” he adds.
Regulus lets his smile crack across his face. “You're drunk” he says bluntly.
“On love” James coos, kissing Regulus’s forehead, then his cheek then the bridge of his nose.
“You’re drunk” regulus repeats, pushing James’s hair back from his forehead as he kisses his face.
“School year is almost over,” James mumbles against Regulus’s skin “You should come to mine” James insists
Regulus pulls away “you know I can’t James” he informs., dropping his hand from James face.
“Why not?” James frowns, his heart twinges at his rejection.
“You know why “ regulus clicks his tongue.
“I’d protect you from them”
“James-“
“No. I wouldn’t let them hurt you “ James affirms, bringing his hands to Regulus’s cheeks. “Okay?”
“Okay “ regulus whispers softly. James can hear the uncertainty in his voice, the desperation in his tone. The lightness of it that if he had spoken any louder his voice would come out in a sob.
“Just for the summer, “ he adds, clearing his throat from the sob. James heart instantly skips a beat.
He smothers regulus in kisses, his lips going numb as his lips meet his face. “Alright. Alright. I said for the summer. We’re not getting married . you lunatic” regulus pulls away.
“I’d marry you” James grins, he’s sure he’ll regret saying that in the morning.
“I know,” regulus whispers, he grabs a hold of James’s hands, and plants a small kiss on his knuckles.
His regret instantly fades away.
James feels a smile spread across his face. “Does this mean we can tell Sirius”
“I didn’t say that. Just not now, James . I’ll tell him "Regulus insists.
“Okay “ James smiles, his heart flutters and he knows it’s not the booze adding to the warmth of his chest. He plants another kiss on Regulus’s lips. “Okay “
