Everyone finds out
When they all walked back downstairs to the kitchen. Charlie could see that his mum was worried, she still had her arm around Hermione. Fresh cups of tea were placed along the table. His dad was playing with a plug, which he often did when nervous.
Hermione couldn't make eye contact with anyone. Once everyone was seated his dad put the plug down and moved back to the table , where he stood behind the curly witch and put his hand on her shoulder.
"Hermione , why don't you read your matches to everyone. We will keep it short tonight, finish everyone's matches but then leave it until tomorrow and have a family meeting to discuss things tomorrow afternoon. Everyone clear? " Arthur stated, when everyone nodded he squeezed Hermione's shoulder.
He could see she was much more composed but still clearly nervous. With a deep breath she looked down at her letter and began.
"My matches are William Weasley, Charles Weasley, Percy Weasley. " she still couldn't look at anyone. She took another deep breath and continued. "Fred Weasley, George Weasley and Ronald Weasley."
There was various gasps around the table. But no one spoke.
"I'm sorry it's a lot to take in. I'm going to head to bed. We can talk to tomorrow if that's alright." Hermione said quickly as she got up and left. Ginny soon followed after her.
"It's getting late, me and your dad are off to bed, don't stay up too late. You need to be in good form to help Hermione and each other through this." His mum told them all as she left with his dad.
"Fuck!!!! Who thought this was a good idea? Seriously all six of us, sharing one slut!" Ron spat.
"You will not speak of her like that!! She did not ask for this. She going to be your , no our wife , treat her with respect. " Charlie roared back at Ron.
"Fancy her do you? I've noticed you stare at her, been fucking her whilst all been sleeping, have you?" Ron shouted back as he stood up.
"Ron, this just proves your still a child! No I have not been sleeping with her. She is a classy lady! How can you suggest this of one of your best friends? " Charlie said whilst putting a hand on Georges shoulder as he was also seething at Ron.
"Well soon she is going he be fucking six brothers, probably a dream come true for her!!!"
"Ron go to bed, calm down! None of us are happy with any of this situation. But you know that it wouldn't be happening if there was any other choice!! We know this is hard for you since you love her but it's hard for everyone. I think of her like a sister, and still very much love Fluer. You are not the only one going to struggle with this." Bill told him in his best older brother voice.
Ron stormed off, muttering "I do not love her". Charlie only hoped he would stay away from Hermione tonight and wouldn't make this harder on her.
"Fred, George how do you both feel about this? " Charlie asked the twins.
"She's a sweet girl, no one is getting a good situation out of this law. But honestly it could have gone so much worse for all of us. We enjoy her company and we don't get some arse living with us, apart from Ron." Fred answered.
"And she's fit" George added. Which made everyone snigger.
"That she is. I've never really looked at her like that, I always thought Ron would marry her. I thought I would marry Penelope but when she ended it after the war I was lost. At least I don't need to do any deciding here. I think we could all be happy. If we all give it a shot." Percy told the group.
"You're getting wise in your old age Perce. I agree that if we all try to make it work, it will. I'm just worried about Ron, I don't think he wants this to work, he's too upset that she will be shared like some toy. Hopefully he will come around. Its going to be tough on all of us if he doesn't. It'll be interesting tomorrow to see how everyone handles it after the shock has calmed down. So Harry you happy to be paired with our sister?" Charlie asked Harry.
"I'm very happy, she is amazing and the other two guys are friends of ours, so should be good. Just need to find somewhere to live. Need to work out if we all going to live together or separately with Ginny coming and going, in my view it's all up to her." Harry replied with a smile.
"Good to hear Harry!! I wish you all the best!! Although it's a little odd to think that our baby sister is going to be trying for a baby in a few months." Charlie replied with a shudder.
They chatted and joked for another few hours before everyone started heading to bed until it was only himself and Bill.
"So Charlie how are you feeling about all this? I know you two have been quite flirty lately." Smirked Bill.
"I don't know if she feels the same but yes I quite like her, have since the end of the war. She is so amazing. I was very hoping to get to know her more. I wanted to do this right. Before the law was announced I had planned a nice date but then the law was announced and I didn't ask her. You know I don't date easily. I honestly think I love her. How stupid is that?" Charlie quietly told his older brother.
"Oh Charlie, I'm so sorry. Its not stupid. I know you do not fall easily. This must be really difficult. "
"Yes but it must be harder for her. I'm going to do everything in my power to make her happy. Even if that means kicking our youngest brother up the ass then it'll be worth it."
Bill laughed at this.
"I know you will but just make sure you're happy too. Are you going to tell her how you feel? "
"Not yet, maybe once we are married but right now I think it'll make things worse. Here's a personal question Bill are you going to manage to be intimate with her in at most two months?"
"Don't really have much of a choice do I? But no I wouldn't be if I did have a choice. The thought of it still feels like cheating. I just hope that feeling leaves."
They chatted for a little bit more before heading off to bed.
