Pondering
As they are ushered from the kitchen by their parents Charlie is surrounded by whispers of his siblings and Harry. They headed up to the twins room since it was the biggest.
"Seriously, do you think she has been paired with someone that bad? A known death eater perhaps? One that's not yet been caught?" Ginny asked as they all sat down on the floor and beds.
"Or the other angle is she is the unlucky witch who get more than three wizards. She has said she wasn't even sure if she wanted to get married to one person let alone three." Harry piped up.
"Yes but even four shouldn't be enough to make her cry and shake, it really must be someone awful. Must be you Ron." Joked Fred with a light punch to his little brothers shoulder.
"Haha, not sure if I want paired with if there's going to be a scary man in the house" Said Ron.
"Totally selfish brother, you should want to be there to support her. But I suppose it would not be good to be shacked up with a death eater." George scolded his brother.
The conversation went round in circles for a bit. Neither Charlie or Bill had said a word.
"You pair have been pretty quiet, what's your thoughts. " Ginny asked the oldest two.
With a glance at each other Charlie took the lead.
"You do know why this law is in place right? To stop the wizarding blood from dying out. With the little witches left, how could they take a chance and give seven siblings different partners. Myself and Bill have discussed this. We assumed that we get split up, three brothers taking a witch each. But that's still three families that cannot marry. What if Hermione has been matched with all six of us brothers? " Charlie said with lead in his stomach.
"No that's absurd!! They cannot do that. I will not share her with all my brothers!!!" Raged Ron.
"Again selfish brother! It's not all about you. If this is the case, I can see why she was so upset! She will have to shack up with six brothers. Although we all are pretty handsome." Declared George.
"If this is true, I wonder why they chose her?" Piped up Ron.
"Because she is smart, funny, compassionate and very beautiful. A good match for you all." Ginny stated as if it was a fact.
"Bill how you feeling about all this?" Asked Harry
"Honestly I'd rather not have been paired with anyone, but if it is Hermione it's someone who I already care for. Although it's hard not seeing her as a kid anymore."
Charlie grunted in reply.
"KIDS YOU CAN COME DOWN NOW!" Mrs Weasley yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
"Let's go find out our fate". Smirked Fred.
