That moon the Wolf had been accompanied by the dog once again, and besides a few scratches you patched up yourself afterwards and went to check in on Remus. You made sure to hide the dog’s scent first, you couldn't let Remus find out. All had been well- the leaves turning colors, the grounds getting cooler, and eternal bliss staying in your soul. You were able to sneak off to Hogsmeade once in a while, and just roam the streets. On Hogsmeade weekends, you would curl up in George’s sweater. You were even able to pick up a few early presents for friends and family. You (with permission from Remus), you got to transform into an owl and see Molly and Castor for the first time since before you had gotten to Hogwarts and your son deserves your love and attention. You had teleported most of the way to get there quicker, but had gotten there in a few hours. When you had your suspicions confirmed that nobody was at the house except you 3 as Ginny had started school last year, you transformed back to you. “Oh, it’s so good to see you! How have you been?” Molly had greeted you with her usual warm hug and smile “Great Molly! How have you and Castor been holding up?” you asked as Castor rounded the corner and ran straight into your arms. “Hi-mom-I’ve-missed-you-so-much-while-you-were-gone-and-Molly-has-been-great-and-I-love-her-food-and-it’s-so-much-nicer-here-then-in-Malfoy-Manor-I-don’t-want-to-leave-here-” Castor said only stopping for breath “Woah, slow down there! But I do have to agree with you about the Manor comment, and when did you get so chatty?” you said and the rest of the day you had just spent time with the both of them having a great time and baking with the both of them. It wasn't until Molly asked about the twins, Ron, and Ginny, that you realized that the twins should be done with the potion and able to transform into animagi on the upcoming moon. “Yeah, from what I know everyone’s been doing good,” you had told Molly. Later in the night when Castor was asleep, you said your goodbyes to Molly and headed back to Hogwarts.
After the night of the full moon, you woke up cold in a place that smells like potions and felt the buzz of magic and heard the shuffling of feet and the sound of people talking. You open your eyes and notice you were in St.Mungo’s. One look around, and immediately you notice Narcissa and Lucius in the room. “Where have you been, we’ve been worried sick!” Narcissa said once she noticed you were awake. You knew that Castor was still with the Weasley’s, and you wouldn't give that information to them for the world. ”Don't act like you're actually worried, we both know I’m not your child.” you respond, your voice slightly hoarse from the moon and without a hint of kindness or warmth. It seemed like Narcissa was just about to respond when Lucius said “Where would you have gotten that silly idea? It must be the effects of the moon,” he said emphasizing on the effects of the moon. You had stayed away from them for so long, and knew you couldn't go back. What would happen? Your thoughts were interrupted as a mediwitch came in to check on you. “How are you feeling? You have a large-” the mediwitch started but had been interrupted by a reporter. “Oh dear, where have you been? How have you been taking care of yourself and Castor? Where is Castor?...” the reporter’s words slowly drifted away as you did your best to come up with a way to not only get away from them, but for Remus to have custody of you. You decided on the best action you could do, which was “My name is Cerise Amity Black and not Celeste Astor Malfoy, and Castor is my son.” you blurted out knowing you could manipulate Narcissa, Lucius, and the reporter to not speak of this if they gave Remus custody and never turned back to so much as look at you. With many different emotions present in the room, you had stated your case, and Lucius just listened with a burning, passionate, anger building up in him. “I’m going to stay with my biological father, and Castor is coming with me. If you tell anyone about this, I have more on you than you think and I doubt anyone will hesitate to throw you in Azkaban. As for the reporter, simple obliviate should work.” And with that, Narcissa pretended to go get some food, Lucius went to the bathroom, and you teleported to the Weasley’s. After a conversation about what would happen now, you had talked with Castor then teleported to Hogwarts in your fox form. With Remus’s surprised face, you could tell when he relaxed slightly and his face went more to protective, that he knew.
