Tracing Your Steps 2
It felt like you were being pulled inside of the cave, and you saw all of the crystals illuminating your path in rainbows of colors. You followed deeper in, then it led you to the pool. You swam until you got to the hidden side, to the pedestal but instead of a stone, this time it was empty. Orbs start appearing, and you seem to hear distant whispering. You can't remember what happens next, but all you remember is being in bed with George cuddling and filling your cold body with heat. “Hi,” George says when he sees you woke up. “Hi George, I love you.” you reply. You just feel a warm light in your soul, and feel this endless amount of calmness spread over you. You feel like you have found internal bliss in this moment and wouldn't give him up for the world. “What time is it? Don't you have class?” you asked when your head made its way back to earth. “It’s Saturday, and lunch starts in a few minutes. If you're hungry, I could grab something for you.” “That’s fine, I’m not that hungry.” you say while remembering the ring in the beyond you have waiting for the right time. It wouldn't be until years later, you find he also has something planned…
You both spend the day together in the dorm, Fred had occupied Lee so you have the room for just the two of you. Once you had warmed up, you had remembered something important- the full moon. “Wait, what’s today's date?” “Um- September 27th, the moon is tomorrow night. Are you feeling okay?” “Yeah, I just lost track of time. Thank you though, I’m not sure if I could have managed to find someone even close as good as you!” to which even though you couldn't see his face, you knew George Weasley enough to know he was blushing when he replied “Oh, um- it’s nothing, I just care about you that’s all,” You turned around to kiss him, which he kissed you first.
You had left the room before Fred and Lee would come back, and decided to go to the Astronomy tower. It seems George had not yet wanted to leave you yet, so he had come just about a minute after you got up there. It was secluded enough that you felt you could transform away from the balcony. You had transformed, when a wave of blue mist clouded your vision and all of the sudden you saw Snape, Dumbledoor, Draco, and Bellatrix in the Astronomy tower. You couldn't hear what they were saying, but you could tell they were definitely saying something. You saw the blue mist again, and suddenly George was right there asking if you were okay. Surprisingly, you were a few inches taller than him- it took you both by surprise- after reassuring him that you were alright, he insisted you sit just in case. You and George had just sat and reminisced over the fond memories you have of each other “Remember when Fred and I showed you the map?” George remarked. “How could I forget? It’s the ‘secret to our success’ isn’t it? Or what about the time when you all found out I was metamorphmagus, I remember storming out of the Great Hall and you were the only one who came and found me to let me know you liked all of me and not just what I seem like,”. It had gone back and forth like that for a while, until the sun had set so he went back to the dorm, and you went back to Remus.
