Tracing Your Steps 1
You almost didn't recognize yourself, since you were taller than you had ever been. Did you have a growth spurt while you were a fox and you hadn't realized it in the house in the forest? You noticed your eyes were their regular blue, rather than their green you usually hide them with. There was a streak of orangey-red peeking from your brunette hair. What was going on? Why are you suddenly so different now? You changed to your original form and saw how your height didn't change, your eyes didn't change, your hair didn't change, your birthmark appeared but it seemed the only thing that changed was that your scars you usually keep hidden- the bad ones- were now showing. You didn't try to change anything about how you looked, and you still looked like this? You looked down at your necklace to show it was swirling gold, and illuminating your picture in the mirror. You saw it get brighter, brighter, brighter… The light had almost blinded you, but now that you look at yourself in the mirror your hair seemed absolutely orange with a blue streak in the back, your eyes were a glowing and bright blue, your necklace had stopped glowing and now looked like a normal crystal. You transformed into your fox form, and felt a pull into the forest. You felt like you had to go there, so you trailed through the castle until you met the edge of the forest. You heard almost as if someone was saying “Follow me…Follow me, Cerise…”. You felt almost like a magnet was pulling your heart towards whatever was in the forest. It felt like the magnet took you through so many turns, you wouldn't expect to have been heading straight for the castle now, but when you saw the risen ground with flowers looking into a dark and wet cave, you knew exactly where you were…
