Secrets
You had a bad feeling that someone- or something- was watching you. You started having bad dreams that you weren't able to remember when you woke up, and had lost your appetite. You had decided to go to the house and see if that could clear anything up for you. Once you got there, orbs had guided you inside and down a very long twisting staircase to a very low level of the house. There were books of every kind ranging with so many more by Lyra. Some reading “Unlock Your Soul and Mind”, and “Transformation Central” and,- one that caught your eye. “The Hidden, The Lost, And The Secret” you said out loud as you took a small book off of one of the mid shelves, which had seemingly been placed there for easy access. You took it over to one of the small armchairs hidden around a bend, where a huge library opened up with a ladder and second higher landing that had a giant fake bay window with cozy seats all over. You smoothly glided up to the landing using your abilities, and went to the bay window and dug into the book. It had 3 sections, one about finding what is hidden or not meant to be known by anyone or anything, one about finding the lost both physically and mentally, and one about finding secrets of all kinds. You opened to the first part of the book, which opened to a spell and potion to help you to see what is supposed to be hidden to anyone and everyone. You heard some clicking, and there was an old door appearing from the bricks around the opposite wall. It must have been there for a reason, so you opened it to reveal the cleanest potion brewery station ever. There were ingredients of all sorts, with anything you could think of to brew. You started on the potion and once you finished, you read up more on the spell. Memories will come in waves, showing things of relevance to you and everything else will be triggered by a person, place, thing, or action. You performed the spell and drank the potion, because you’re impulsive.
You got back to Remus and went to bed in his office, as you usually did. You had a dream that started with swirling blue colors, falling into complete darkness. You saw Lyra using her own abilities, when she was attacked, then saw through an illusion of her’s that she got away safely from the crowd. It quickly changed to Sirius making the decision that saved your life.
“I’ll do it. I don't care what it takes! I should have protected her and it's my fault!”a boy with dark, long, curly hair said.
“Sirius, mate, you have to think about this! You couldn't have saved her-and you know it! Did you forget she's my sister too!” a boy with glasses, and brown untidy hair said.
A boy with mousy brown hair was pacing in the back of the room, and was being watched by a pale, silent yet worried looking boy.
“James, I never said she wasn't, but see what has happened! She shouldn't have been there alone and if I had just went with her-”
“Both of you shut up! I know this is stressful, but Padfoot, have you taken all things into account? Raising the child, and about the dangers we pose to it, and you aren't even a female!”
The tension was broken by the silent boy sitting in the corner.” Well, Moons, there is a spell that Audriese used to use for-um-well…” the boy trailed off.” Pete, you're bloody brilliant!” Sirius cried, “Sirius, you need to think about this! You can't just change your gender, trot off, and raise a child! Besides, you're only 17! Have you thought about the future? You need to take into consideration-””Moony, I don't care. I'm old enough, and you can't change my mind! I need- no I want to do this. For Lyra.”Sirius said, and by his tone nothing-not even his mother-could change his mind.”Is it settled? We need to prep for surgery soon.” the Mediwitch said calmly. ”Yes” Sirius black said, not knowing what lies ahead.
The dream quickly changed to Regulus being pulled down underwater by inferi, then a phoenix diving into the water and pulling him out and flying out of the cave. You woke up in a cold sweat, and still in your fox form. It was late at night, so you thought it was safe to transform back. When you did, you almost thought that you had been metamorphosed as someone very tall however when you looked in the mirror it told a different story…
