The Moon
You woke up with cool ground under you. You smelt the earthy soil and felt a cool breeze through the trees. You heard birds in the distance and the trees rustling. You were in the middle of the forbidden forest, and covered with a blanket. Most likely, you had been there for a while as the sun was right above you and boring down over your blanket. You heard leaves crunching in a nearby bush and when you looked there, you saw none other than the friendly dog watching you carefully. “Hey there,” you attempted to say very sweetly but from the screaming and the moon, it came out like a rough whisper. You had transformed into yoru fox form, and you both had walked closer to the castle together. The dog had departed and wandered towards Hogsmeade, while you kept your focus on getting to Remus’s classroom. You roamed the halls until you found the DADA classroom, and unnoticeably slipped in. You stayed hidden around the perimeter of the classroom, while Remus was teaching some very happy looking Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs maybe in 6th year. They were learning about Boggarts, and they seemed to love Remus’s energy, even though he was trying his best after a full moon. When class ended and the students were on their way to their next class, Remus had come over to you.”How are you?” he said and since you knew nobody was around or could hear you, you transformed to Skyler. “Honestly, it wasn't as bad as I thought. How was it for you?” you asked. “Not the best, the effects are lasting a little longer than usual,” he replied and you could just tell he didn't feel as good as he wanted you to think.
Later you had transformed back to yourself and saw a few minor cuts and a bruise on your thigh, but other than that you were fine. You kind of regret not telling him about the dog, but you supposed that everything happens for a reason, no matter good or bad. You were in the corridor when two redheads came running around the corner dropping a note for you right in front of you. You had read the words “Meet us at the astronomy tower in five minuets.” You wandered the ground a little bit more, then made your way up the many steps to the top of the astronomy tower. When you got there, George was standing by the side and said “Hello, Fred will be just a moment. He needs to grab the crystalists,”. You twirled between his legs as you waited, then decided to look if there was a better version of the potion they needed to become animagi in the book. You looked, and it had a variation of the potion which had been confirmed by George that they could use it. Fred came back with the crystalists, and you three had started to brew the potion.
Just a few days into the term, and you started feeling like somebody was watching you, and not just a few times, but constantly. Every day. Every night. Every second you are alive…
