"Um Harry, I think I have a problem."

He sat up straight and looked at her with his eyebrows drawn together. "What is it?"

"I'm not sure if the plans I had for September to November won't change."

Two months earlier...

"What do you say?"

Ginny found herself facing two wizards and a witch, all looking at her expectantly. The office she sat in was spacious and filled with Quidditch trophies and other Quidditch related decorations. Her hands clasped a teacup as she gazed at all three of them in turn.

"If I understand this correctly, you want me to play for England in this year's Quidditch World Cup?" she asked sceptically.

The witch sitting directly opposite her nodded vigorously. "Exactly."

"Wow," Ginny said slowly. "I still have to discuss this with my husband, but I think I'll take you up on your offer."

"Just get back to us in the next few days and let us know your decision. Further instructions will follow then," the younger wizard explained, standing up and holding out his hand to her.

"Okay, I will," Ginny replied, also standing up and shaking his hand, as well as the others.

It wasn't until Ginny was at her house that she allowed herself to let her emotions out. As soon as she stepped out of the fireplace in the living room, she let out a cry of joy. Lured by the sound, Harry came into the room with James in his arms.

"What's wrong, Gin?" he asked, perplexed.

Ginny was grinning up to her ears. "Guess who's going to play for England in the Quidditch World Cup this year!"

"What do you mean?" continued Harry.

Ginny looked at him cautiously. "I'm fairly certain that I'm pregnant."

"What?" asked Harry, raising his eyebrows in surprise.

"It feels like I'm experiencing a déjà vu, because as far as I know you had the same reaction with James." She grinned tentatively and then sat down on her husband's lap so she could look directly at him. "But I'm happy to repeat it for you: I'm fairly certain that I'm pregnant."

Harry nodded slowly. "Okay," he said. "And are we happy about it or-"

"I think we are." She held up a finger as Harry was about to say something. "If I'm pregnant then we are happy about it but I don't know yet. If I'm not pregnant we can start trying after the Quidditch World Cup."

His eyes widened. "Merlin, Ginny! The World Cup! After all, it's always been your greatest dream to play for England and now-"

Ginny put a finger to his lips. "Shhh, Harry. Yes, I've always wanted to play for England, but my family is more important to me. And if I really am pregnant, I'd be really happy about it - even more than any Quidditch tournament. Especially because then maybe I'll finally be able to enjoy my pregnancy and it won't be like James's."

"At least it's already going like James's in the sense that it wasn't planned," Harry replied with a grin.

"My mum's really going to kill us for it this time," she muttered, leaning against him. "But like I said, I don't know if I'm pregnant yet."

"Then take a test!"

Ginny laughed. "Don't stress Mister Impatient, I already bought one, all you have to do is brew the potion."

"Me, don't you remember how bad I was at Potions?!"

"Don't you remember I was just as bad?! And suppose I'm pregnant, then I'm the one who has to go through all the discomfort and pain and everything again, so I guess you can brew that potion for me after your quite generous sperm donation," the redhead retorted and stood up.

A grin stole onto Harry's face. "Generous sperm donation then? So I'm just some random guy getting you pregnant? Then you can go through all the discomfort and pain on your own and raise the baby on your own later."

Ginny gave him an angry look. "Now brew the potion, sperm donor!"

"How much longer?"

"If you ask me that again, I'll knock the cauldron over your head!"

Harry tried to hide his grin, but unsuccessfully. His wife looked at him, aghast, until the corners of her mouth began to twitch upwards.

Nonetheless, she replied. "One more minute," she looked at the cauldron and then back at him. "Do you think James would be happy to have a sibling?"

Harry laughed. "Sure, James likes everything and everyone. Later on our kids will probably hate each other and while I can't speak from experience, I've heard that's part of being a sibling."

Ginny grinned at her husband and was just leaning in to kiss him when her alarm went off, which she had counted on her wand. She turned her face away from his and her eyes widened as she saw the now black, not white, potion.

"I'm pregnant!" squeaked Ginny. "Merlin's beard, I really am pregnant!"

A fat smile spread across Harry's face. "You're pregnant!" he said in fascination, taking her face in both hands. He leaned down to hers and kissed her.

As they lay in bed that evening they were still grinning.

"It feels good to finally be happy that I'm pregnant," Ginny said quietly as James lay sleeping between them.

Harry stroked his son's hair. "Yes, it does," he replied with a smile. "But what about Quidditch?"

"I think I'll have to talk to Jennifer, Matt and David soon, so they're aware of the circumstances. Even though I'm definitely not twelve weeks pregnant yet and there's an increased risk of miscarriage, they need to know so they can replace me if necessary."

"If they replace you, they are really stupid. Because even heavily pregnant, you could still play Quidditch better than anyone else," Harry said with a grin.

And boy, he was right.
