Of Seers and Changes
The sun was shining brightly when Tom awoke. The room was sunlit and outside he heard birds chirping. It was idyllic to wake up like this. Especially if you compared it to his past. He had lived in Riddle Manor for about four years now. The entire Manor was re-warded with Goblin help, upgraded and had even some Muggle appliances, like lightbulbs and a fridge in the kitchen. He had several House Elves and was content with his life.
He was lying on his back and some part of his anatomy received a delicious form of attention. He groaned in pleasure. That little wicked witch…He looked down and saw a bulge under the duvet. His witch had him in her mouth and held his balls in her hand, massaging gently. It was the perfect way to wake up. He reached down, under the covers, to hold her hair. He tugged on the strands and Hermione hummed in pleasure causing him to buckle up. She sucked hard, taking him as far as she could. He didn’t last long under her ministrations and came in her mouth. She swallowed everything he gave her and sucked and licked him clean.
She released him with an audible plop. She lifted the duvet of her, looking up with naughty eyes. ‘Good morning my Lord,’ she spoke softly, knowing very well what that would do to him. Lust rushed through him and he pulled her up by her arms, flipped them both over, so he was now on top of her. Hermione looked up with an innocent-looking smile and sparkling eyes. ‘Good morning little vixen,’ Tom spoke in a stern voice.
Hermione giggled and wiggled against him. He kissed her deeply and held her arms above her head, pinning her underneath him. He gave her a dark look, knowing she loved that and pushed himself inside her in a single hard thrust. Hermione gasped and moaned and spread her legs further, to give him better access. He fucked her roughly, the way he know she liked it. She made the most delicious sounds, begging him for release. ‘Shall I allow you to cum?’ He asked her, holding in for a moment. ‘Yes, Tom pl..please!’ He smiled wickedly and picked up the pace of his thrusts. When she reached her orgasm, he came soon after. Poth panted heavily and he rolled off her.
After a few moments, Hermione settled next to him, still breathing hard. She faced him and smiled. ‘You need to shave.’
He lifted an eyebrow and turned his head, giving her his full attention. ‘That’s it? Not a thank you for what we just did?’ He asked teasingly. She giggled again, climbed on top of him, and said in a submissive sexy voice: ‘Thank you, my Lord.’
He closed his eyes. She would be the death of him. They made love again, taking their time and going in a slow way and after about an hour they got up, took a shower together and went downstairs.
‘So what happened last night?’ Hermione asked over breakfast. He looked at her and shrugged. ‘I honestly cannot tell you, love. It felt something like the Goblin ritual, but also different. It was like my core shifted or…it’s hard to explain. I will speak to Severus today, perhaps he can offer insight.’ Hermione nodded and wished him a good day before she kissed him and left by Floo to go to the Ministry. She was an Unspeakable, working with things he rather didn’t know about.
‘Flippy!’ A House Elf appeared. ‘Tell Severus to expect me in about half an hour.’
He went into his library, looking at books that maybe offered insight. Finding none, he used the Floo to enter Severus’ rooms in Hogwarts. Severus was the Deputy Headmaster and still the Head of Slytherin. A lot had changed and where Severus used to kiss his robes in greeting, he now simply nodded and invited Tom to sit at the table. ‘My Lord. I was told you wanted to speak to me. How can I help?’
Severus Snape, Potions Master, and former Dungeon Bat. The years after the disappearance of the Potter girl had opened his eyes. He was played a fool by the man who had promised him Lily would be safe. Never had Severus fathomed that Albus Dumbledore would be so cruel, to gain himself more glory. Investigations revealed that it had been Albus who steered Tom to his insanity. Sending a troubled young child back to Muggle London in the midst of a world war, leaving clues about becoming immortal, placing compulsions to make Tom feel alone and act cruel, and that wasn’t even all. He came up with the insane belief that because Tom was conceived under the effects of Amortentia, he couldn’t feel and understand love. Ridiculous. Granted, the manipulations of the old coot had led to Tom losing his sanity and his good looks, and for a while, it seemed irrevocable. Luckily Tom had used the girl to give him back his body and with that, a lot of things suddenly became quite clear.
Now, seven years later, their world was stable for the most part. Severus was not the same man he once was, full of bitterness. Now no longer a spy, but a close friend to Tom. He still called him My Lord, out of respect, but he was treated like an equal. He forgave Tom for killing Lily because it had been Albus who faked the prophecy, needing a child to mold and to use, just to raise that child as a lamb for slaughter. His plan had been to send Potter to her death, knowing she would be no match for Tom and for him to come out victorious. How the tables had turned. He often wondered what would have happened if the girl hadn’t vanished. He still looked for her but was beginning to accept he might never see her again. How he wanted to make amends. He was a fool.
After drinking some tea, Tom told Severus about what happened last night. Severus was lost in thought. Could it be? ‘My Lord, could it be that the girl refuses to use magic? Maybe out of fear that she is found?’ Tom nodded. The idea had merit. She never got her OWL’s. Wherever she was, assuming she was alive and both of them were certain of that, she would have been a minor at that time. She would be an adult now, and the trace would be gone, but they of course didn’t know anything for sure. Severus smiled to himself. Even after all these years, Potter continued to cause trouble.
‘If that is the case, could she have developed an Obscurus?’
‘Obscurials form at an early age. I don’t think she ever showed any signs?’ Tom asked. Severus agreed with this logic, but both men knew the girl had suffered at the hands of her relatives and there was a small change that she was an Obscurial. Because she had a piece of Tom’s soul in her body, it was possible he had felt the violent outburst that caused him pain. ‘Do you think we can trace her if she is one?’ ‘We can try.’
A knock on the door stopped their musings, as Severus opened the door with a wave of his hand. Draco entered his room. The boy had changed into a man. Still pale, with almost white hair, he had suffered several attacks these past years, and now bared the signs of those battles. He wore an eyepatch because he lost his left eye. He was the Hogwarts Defense professor but didn’t live in the castle. He got his Mastery and he had married Luna, what no one had seen coming, but she kept him grounded and together they had a daughter called Aurora. Severus was her godfather, and Tom was by far her favorite uncle.
‘Sev, my Lord, I need to talk to you, it’s about Potter.’ That piqued their interest and Draco sat down. ‘Luna felt her.’ Draco knew not to beat around the bushes. He only expected Severus the be there, but now that Tom was here too, he could save himself the trip.
‘What do you mean, she felt her?’ Tom wanted clarification. Everyone knew Luna had Seer abilities. Sometimes she was also batshit crazy, but she would never state something like this if it wasn’t the truth.
Draco nodded. ‘Yes, last night, just after dinner, her eyes became a bright white light and she just stared ahead. Gave me the creeps. After about three minutes she came back and stated she felt her.’
‘Why wait until now to tell us? Tom asked with a hint of anger. Draco faced him and stated quite bluntly. ‘Because after that, she collapsed, completely drained and I had to take care of my wife. My Lord.’
Severus paled and Tom grinned to himself at this. He loved it still if people feared him. He was by no means a saint. He really was a changed man, because the Dark Lord of old would have cruciod Draco for this comment and the way he said it, but Tom merely nodded. He was not afraid to admit he sometimes missed the old days. Having people fear you gave a person a rush. But he sighed, gave Severus a pointed look, and asked the question that was expected of him. ‘Understood. How is she now?’
Draco told him and Severus that Luna had recovered and was now at home with Aurora. He left both men with the promise of contacting them the minute something like this happened again. Draco returned to the hallways and Tom and Severus sat back down. Severus swallowed.
‘Oh do relax Severus. I have no intentions of harming Draco. Hermione would probably hex my balls off.’ Severus got a faint blush and nodded. Time for a subject change. ‘Speaking of Hermione, how is she?’
