Dinner.
"No way! Percy really did all of that?" Maggie laughs, twirling her finger around the rim of her chilled glass. Once all of the dishes were squared away after a joyous dinner, Molly pulled out some homemade butter beer that tastes amazing.
Percy only had a sip, knowing that even the slightest hint of intoxication means all sexual activities are forgoed.
Maggie's had slightly more, because she's harder to get drunk. She's drunk all of their ministry friends under the table, and she quite likes the cold going down her throat. But she still consumes a reasonable amount only for Percy’s comfortablity.
"I did not." Percy says with a roll of his eyes, before flushing and looking down at the table.
"You didn't? Are you sure, baby?" Maggie teases, reaching over to jab his side gently, "You wouldn't lie to me, would you?"
"Fine." Percy grumbles, "Yes. I did ready forty books during the summer, and only left my room a few times a day:"
"Wow." Maggie laughs, "So you've always been career motivated."
"He absolutely has." Charlie laughs, "More than probably all of us combined."
"Oh you're so smart!" Maggie teases, leaning over and planting a firm kiss on his cheek. Percy flushes even farther and looks away.
"So how did you two meet?" Arthur asks from down the table, pouring another glass of Butterbeer in his cup.
"Oh, it was super cliche." Maggie says, "We went to the same bar, and he was there with some friends. I was with a few friends too, and it was just after my tour ended, and we saw each other from across the room. Blah Blah Blah sparks flew blah love at first sight blah. Then I beat his ass in the alley behind the bar."
"What?!" George cries, while the others laugh and look around in gidy confusion.
"Maggie." Percy whines, "Please don't."
"Him and his lads were wrestling, well no, his lads were taking part in wrestling matches in the back alley that I just so happened to stumble upon. I challenged Percy, and had him on the floor in seconds. It was thrilling. I asked him out to coffee when I had him in a headlock between my thighs."
"Why must you mortify me in these ways?" Percy mutters, pulling his glasses off and rubbing at the bridge of his nose.
"Because you love me, and you know it's true." Maggie coos, reaching a hand over to squeeze at the back of his neck before addressing the room again, "He actually said no because he had a meeting, and I was offended. How dare this man not want to meet me for coffee after I so graciously threw myself on the ground for him? So I marched myself right into the ministry at 9:45 the next morning and asked for Percy Weasley. He was quite shocked to see me, but the Minister made him take the hour off to have coffee with me. I'd say it went well."
"Yeah. Yeah. It went well." Percy says, curling his arms around himself and smiling with flushed cheeks.
"How'd the rest of you meet?" Maggie asks, her eyes moving around the table, before landing on Bill when he starts to speak. Percy shoves his glasses back on, and Maggie grabs his hand out of midair and intertwines their fingers. She pulls their hands to rest in her lap as she focuses on Bill.
"We met during the time of the Triwizard Tournament." Bill supplies, "But it was in a fleeting moment, and we got reacquainted when She owled me about working somewhere in England. I helped her get a job at Gringotts, and we went from there. It kinda of was unsaid that we were dating."
"That's beautiful." Maggie smiles, "I had to drag Percy kicking and screaming, so that sounds like a fairytale."
"That's not true. I was enamored by you the seconds I saw you." Percy says, squeezing her hand tightly.
"I don't mean any disrespect, Perce. I know you feel just as strongly about me as I do you. But you do have to admit you were reluctant in the beginning." Maggie says, reaching over with her free hand to boop his nose.
"Well, I was still technically a war criminal at that point." Percy says with a laugh, while the others half-heartedly laugh at that. They seem slightly guilty about the topic.
"Well, you're a pretty cute war criminal." Maggie says, "Now, shush. I want to hear the rest of your siblings' stories."
"Yes, Ma'am." Percy says with a grin, before taking a sip of water.
"Uhm, I can go next!" Ginny says, reaching across the table to take Hermione's hand. "Hermione and I met like a long time ago, but we only began dating like a year ago. She's really private so, Uhm...yeah!"
"That's awesome. Good for you guys." Maggie smiles, squeezing Percy's hand gently. "I'm glad that you two are happy."
"Thank you." Hermione smiles softly, squeezing Ginny's hand and then gently pulling away.
"Me next! Angelina and I met in our first year at Hogwarts and have been on the same quidditch team since then. She and Fred did mess around for a while, but they broke things off and Fred gave his blessing for us to date. It's only been amazing since then." George says, smiling over at Angelina lovingly. Maggie thinks they are adorable, but she can't get over the past rants and cry sessions Fred has had at Percy and Her’s home.
"You two are so cute." Maggie says, making the couple high-five goofily. "I'm glad everything is going well with you."
"Harry and I have been fucking around since fifth year." Ron says with a sip of his beer, making others around the table choke and Harry bang his head on the table. "Simple as that. We liked each other way before that, but we only really put it into action in fifth head."
"Bold, I like it!" Maggie claps, making Ron laugh and dodge a gently smack coming from Harry. "That's great."
"AceAro." Charlie says, pushing his hair behind his ear and letting the dragon in his lap nip at his fingers.
"Cheers." Maggie says, making Charlie laugh and mock cheering a cup with her. "What's that entail?"
"I have no romantic or sexual feelings." Charlie shrugs, "I'm married to my work."
"Sounds fun." Maggie says, making Charlie nod with a smile and focus back on the dragon.
Maggie's eyes move to the only remaining sibling, and Fred meets her eyes mid-drink. He rolls his eyes before pulling back.
"I'm single as shit. You know this. Leave me alone."
"Let me set you up!" Maggie cries, "Please, Fred! Let me set you up with someone!"
"Jesus Christ, No! Do you really think I need you, who practically strangled Percy when you first met him, to set me up with someone? I'd rather die." Fred exclaims, setting his drink down.
