Chapter 2

After a few months of staying here, i developed a new hobby. Waking up early even though it's break from school. I arrived here on mid April, which is Hogwart's Easter Break.

And now, it's June! And Neville is expected to be home next week, which excites me. Aside from spending the whole day with Gran or wandering around the neighbourhood or staying at the public library, i did nothing but to read books and cope up with Neville's lessons in school because we exchange letters every Saturday.

I'm here at the kitchen and preparing dinner because Gran is not feeling well. I missed the foods that Auntie Mahva prepares for me when i was still in the Philippines, i like Pork Sinigang when it's soup is still warm.

After eating dinner with Gran, i washed the dishes and went to my room. It's Saturday! Which means Neville's letter will arrive. I waited on my bed patiently while playing 'xoxo' on a piece of paper.

Minutes later i heared an Owl's hoot. I quickly went to window and opened it so the Owl could get inside. I quickly got the letter and opened it.

'Dearest Francine,

I am so excited to see you on Saturday! How are you and Gran? If you would ask me i am fine now because Harry managed to kill 'you know who's giant basilisk. To be honest with you, i am nervous on what my marks would be. I might get a good scolding from Gran once my marks arrive. And i have so many stories to tell you when i get home. I hope you are fine there.

your cousin,
Neville'

I smiled when i finished reading Neville's letter. When he came back, i was so worried because i know he might get bullied by Draco Malfoy again, but luckily, i haven't recieved any complaints from him.

'Dear Neville,

Gran and I are fine. I am glad that you said that you are fine because you don't know how worried i am. There's still a few more months to go before your marks arrive, so don't worry too much. And i can't wait to listen to your stories because i have been dying because of boredom here. All i do everyday is wander around the neighbourhood, or go to the library or watch Gran treat the plants everyday. I also can't wait to see you

Love,
Francine'

After sending the letter back to Neville, i quickly went to sleep.

The next morning, i was awakened by my Dad's voice.

"Zaza, wake up..." he tried to wake me up.

"Napakaaga pa" i complained and turned my back on him.

"Come on Zahara, you're moving" he said in a stern voice.

"To where?" i asked with a sleepy voice.

"To a new house" he responded.

"Why?" i asked again.

"Because i said so" he answered. I finally decided to open my eyes and saw him and Gran pack my things. What's going on?.

"What's going on Dad?" i asked curiously and fixed my hair.

"We're moving on a different neighbuorhood, Zahara. I got a new job at the ministry which means I'm staying there with you. And that house is near The Burrow" he said.

"The Burrow?" i asked again.

"Oh.. stop asking questions Zahara and take a shower" he ordered me, which i did not disobey.

After eating breakfast at Gran's house, Dad and i left the Longbottom's house and moved to our new house. The house is not that big, it's just a two story house that has 4 rooms, two rooms has bathrooms inside and the others doesn't, a kitchen, two other bathrooms and a wide living room. There are furtinures already.

Dad let me pick my room and told me to unpack my things. After unpacking my things, i decided to tour around the house because Dad came outside for a while. I first checked the rooms, and then the bathrooms and roamed around e kitchen and opened every compartment. I am in schock because every compartment has foods, ingredients and neccesseties.

"Zahara! Come outside honey!" i heard my Father's voice. Well, ofcourse, i went outside. What other things should i do here anyways.

"Come on! Hurry up! We're going to The Burrow" he said when i arrived outside and he went to the door to lock it.

"What's The Burrow, Dad?" i asked curiously. We are now walking to i don't know where. I don't even know what's this village name is for goodness sake.

"The Burrow is the name of the house where my friend lives" he answered. "And we are going there"

"But isn't it far?" i asked.

"Would i walk with you if you think it's far?" he asked back. "Well, ofcourse, Zahara, we live on the same village. Ottery St. Catchpole"

"Oh... so it's just a few blocks away" i said. And he just responded with a 'Hmm'. After a few more steps, i saw a house. Is it even a house? It's like they're just adding another storey on the house every year. Four or Five chimneys were perched on top of the red roof, a lop-sided sign stuck near the entrance read 'The Burrow'. There were also several fat brown chickens around.

Dad didn't even bother to call, instead he went straight inside the house, which i followed.

"France!" a voice of a man called my Dad.

"Arthur!" i heard my dad say, a few moments later a red headed man came into the view and a women with a red head also appeared.

"How are you?" my Dad asked the man and he soon turned to look at the woman. "Oh, Molly, you've gotten more beautiful"

Ohh, god. Weasleys.
