Chaotic Escape
For the next few weeks Ginny and Sirius carefully planned the escape, figuring out the timing of the guards and the Dementors.
When they weren’t doing that, Sirius and Bellatrix had taken to teaching Ginny magical theory,
“Just because you live in a prison doesn’t mean you should be clueless if we’re going to escape you’ll at least need to be aware.”
“Not to mention you’re a young Pureblood lady-“
“Bella!”
“Shut up Siri! Just because she’s a Weasley, doesn’t mean she isn’t a Pureblood!”
“You and your blood obsession…”
Ginny learnt to ignore the conversation and pick her battles with the crazy loon.
The thought of her escaping was the only thing that she could think about whenever she was left alone.
She should’ve realized that the world was too cruel to let her have even a small hope.

The day of the escape was chaotic.
They waited for the Dementor to pass by before Sirius, who had transformed into his dog form, quietly walked out of his cell, Ginny following close behind.
Unfortunately for both of them, while the Dementors might not be able to sense Sirius, they definitely could sense the presence of Ginny.
Before either of them knew it, the alarms had gone off. Signalling the Dementors of a prisoner away from their cell. Ginny quickly realized they were both going to get caught.
“Sirius. Sirius! You need to go on your own!” She whisper yelled.
The dog whined, “No! Listen, at least one of us has gotta get out! Let it be the man who’s been wrongfully convicted for twelve years! GO! Find that rat. And wring his neck.”
The dog walked closer, gave a kiss on her cheek before running off.
Ginny watched for a moment before running back to her cell, tears streaming down her face. She had just given up her chance at freedom.
Bellatrix watched the girl cry, and in a monotonous voice said “Well that was either the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen or the kindest.”
Ten hours later when everyone realized that Sirius Black had escaped, and could not be found, all Ginny did was cackle, tear still rolling down her cheeks.
