Everyone was still processing what they saw. There are so many new revelations that changed everything. Albus Potter isn't the actual boy who lived. Lord Voldemort or Tom Marvolo Riddle is extremely hot and didn't actually try and kill the Potter twins. Dumbledore fired a killing curse at a child!
The stillness was disrupted by Lily. "Dumbledore, why did you fire the Killing Curse at Harry? Were you aiming for To- Voldemort?" Lily smiles softly to herself, glad that no one noticed her slip up. Everyone turned to the old man, awaiting his answer. Dumbledore puts a remorseful look on his grandfatherly face.
"Thank Merlin for Lily. She gave me the perfect excuse." and as Dumbledore opened his mouth to say his aim was off because of his nerves and worry for the Potter family, Molly Weasley spoke up first.
"LILLIAN POTTER! HOW DARE YOU INSULT DUMBLEDORE!" Her face was red as she stood up, glaring at Lily, who was caught off guard from the sudden outburst.
The rest of the Weasleys stood up nodding in agreement as Ron spoke. "Dumbledore is the best wizard in the Wizarding World! He could never do something so pathetic!"
The twins blush red in embarrassment at sharing blood with them. "Maybe we should take Remus and Sirius up on their offer."
Dumbledore glared at the Weaselys. "Damn them, what the hell am I suppose to say now?" The Weaselys were to busy smiling and feeling proud, thinking that they helped their hero and stood up for him.
The Slytherins and the people in the shadows were gleefully watching the scene, curious about how Dumbledore will get out of this.
"I knew the boy could protect himself so I aimed at him to catch Lord Voldemort off guard, I didn't expect Voldemort to flee and my intention wasn't to harm the children. I was thinking about the greater good." He gives them his best grandfatherly smile before turning to Lily and James.
"I'm very sorry your children had to be involved." On the outside he gives the couple a small remorseful smile but inwardly he was smirking in victory. "That's a good excuse. Everyone should buy it and then they'll stop questioning me and continue praising me."
A lot of people, mainly all the Gryffindors, some Ravenclaws, and few Hufflepuffs, believed the man. "He's done so much good for the Wizarding World, of course he's telling the truth."
Everyone else disagreed, it was obvious that Dumbledore wasn't up to any good. There are so many holes in his excuse. How did he know that Harry could protect himself in the first place? Why did he fire the killing curse? There were so many other spells he could have used. Why not fire the killing curse at Voldemort? Why was Dumbledore there in the first place?
Before anyone could bring it the screen resumed playing.
Lily was seen holding baby Albus as James stood near her, all of them downstairs. "I can't believe our baby boy is a hero!" Lily said, smiling at Albus. "You're such a good boy Albus." She cooed.
"Before she was regretting having him and was completely embarrassed by him. Now that he's apparently the chosen one she's a proud mother. She's a completely different person from the girl I knew." Sirius thinks and scoffs.
"He'll be famous and extremely strong and smart when he grows up. Just like his mum and dad." James said, happy that his oldest isn't shameful anymore.
A few people in the audience snort, knowing that Albus Potter has the worst grades and can't do any spells.
As James and Lily fawn over Albus, Harry was shown to still be in his crib upstairs in the destroyed nursery.
A lot of people scowled at their bad parenting, except for Molly. She nodded in approval. "At least she knows how to parent right. If a child doesn't live up to your standards they need to be put in their place."
While Molly was mumbling to herself about "a parent's rules being law" and "standards must be followed", Remus was trying to stop himself from growling. "How dare they do that to my cub!"
Harry started crying, wanting his parents to comfort him. He was clearly still hurt from the affects of the killing curse. Lily having heard their youngest cries, frowned. "What does he want? We're trying to play with Albus."
Albus smirked, glad that he has his parents attention and will continue to have it. "Being the boy who lived has so many perks." He thinks, completely forgetting that he's not the real boy who lived.
James looked confused before saying, "He's probably worried about Albus. You know how twins are, they can never be separated for too long."
Lily's frowned deepend. "Harry will be leaving soon anyway, he should stay up there. They're going to have to get use to not being around each other." James immediately nods his head in agreement.
Both Lily and James ignored the cries and continued giving Albus attention. Lily smiled when the cries finally stopped.
"So not only did you leave your child in a dangerous and ruined room but you also left him in his crib without supervision for who knows how long? Did you at least feed him or change his diaper?" Amelia Bones questioned. Not even hiding her disgust towards Lily and James.
Lily and James looked absolutely appalled that someone questioned them and looked at them like that. "Harry was completely fine. Besides, it was his last day with us. He can't be attached." Lily says. Feeling like they should explain themselves further, James speaks up "Besides, he was going to end up with Petunia. It was her job now."
A lot of people look at them in disbelief before turning back to the screen, not wanting to lose brain cells by continuing the conversation.
Hours later Harry was still in the crib. It was clear he stopped crying a long time ago from the dried tear stains on his cheek. Harry's diaper hadn't been changed since yesterday and it was obvious he needed a bath.
All the purebloods, including some of the ones that followed Dumbledore, were horrified at how they treated their child.
A man and a woman in the shadows scowled at how their son was treated, vowing that they'll kill the disgusting Potters when this is all over.
James and Lily were with Albus, going on and on about how great he'll be and how he'll defeat the big bad Voldemort. Just as they were about to say he'll be the best wizard ever, Dumbledore showed up.
"It is time to take young Harry to the Dursleys. Say your goodbyes." The old man smiled at them. James and Lily noddeed before going upstairs, not looking the least bit sad that they were giving their son away.
As soon as Harry heard footsteps coming he sat up and smiled, his parents were finally coming! He really missed them, they must have been super busy today.
Harry's smiled dimmed a bit when he saw the looks on their faces. They usually smile when they see him. Right now they look like they're about to do a boring chore. Maybe they've had a bad day? Harry decides he'll try and make them feel better.
A lot of people's hearts ached for Harry. It was clear he loved his parents and he was going to be crushed with what they were about to do to him.
Lily and James felt extremely guilty about sending their son away, especially since he's actually the boy who lived.
Lily looked at her youngest and picked him up, completely ignoring his appearance and needs. "Hey, Harry. You're going to be living with your Aunt Petunia from now on." She continues as if she didn't see him frown. "I hope you'll be good for your Aunt Petunia. She's a wonderful woman."
When Harry looked like he was going to cry, James spoke up. "You'll be very happy there. I promise we'll come and bring you back after a few months." Lily nods in agreement, "Yup. You'll be here with us after a few months, we never break our promises."
Hadrian scoffed. "Lying bastards." He mutters to himself.
Although he wasn't as quiet as he thought. The few people that heard him furrowed their eyebrows, wondering how he knows the Potters are lying.
They carried Harry downstairs and immediately gave him to Dumbledore. Once Harry was secure in Dumbledore arms, the parents said their farewell to the old man before going right back to Albus.
Harry squirmed, not liking the vibe this man gave off. Dumbledore getting annoyed with all the movement held Harry tighter, ignoring how the baby cried, and apparated away.
Minerva gave Dumbledore a glare. "The moment we're alone..." She thinks darkly.
Dumbledore appeared before a very normal and boring looking house. This is 4 Privet Drive in Little Whinging, Surrey. Before moving any closer, he pointed his wand at Harry whispering the words "Somnum." Once he was certain the child was going to stay asleep he placed him on the doorstep.
He smiled, eyes twinkling before pointing his wand at the child again. "I, Albus Dumbledore, impediunt Harry Potter ab usura magica." He repeated it seven more times before taking out a premade letter and leaving it next to the sleeping child.
The entire audience gasped. Dumbledore's followers were horrified but they assured themselves that their leader had a good reason to do it.
Everyone who didn't like Dumbledore, were even more horrified. They knew Dumbledore was vile but they didn't think he would go that far.
"Why the hell did you bind his magic?" Sirius questioned, he would have already punched the old coot if Remus hadn't been holding him back. "You could have killed him!" He yelled when he didn't get an answer.
Dumbledore was pale but he quickly came up with an excuse. "It was for the greater good. I did not want Voldemort finding him." There were many shouts of disbelief. Lily and James were just upset that their child still has his magic bound, meaning it's probably extremely weak and will take months, maybe years for him to properly be able to use it.
"ENOUGH!" Molly screaches making everyone wince and cover their ears. "If Albus Dumbledore says that's why he did it, then that's why he did it." People either nod in agreement or scoff but no one says anything, wanting to continue.
Hours later, early in the morning we see Harry Potter, still asleep on the doorstep. A lot of people in the audience curse when they realize Dumbledore just left him out there all night. In side the house, Petunia Dursley née Evans had just woken up. Putting on her robe, she walked out of her room and down the stairs, going towards the door to get the mail.
Upon opening the door she screamed. Quickly, she picked up the child and brought them inside. "Who would leave a poor child outside on the doorstep in November?!" She goes near the cupboard under the stairs to get an extra blanket for the child. As she was wrapping him, she noticed a letter. She carefully put the child down on the couch before opening the letter.
" Dear Petunia Dursley,
The child on your doorstep is Harry Potter, the son of your sister and her husband. Don't worry, Lily and James are alive but they can no longer care for the child and it would be greatly appreciated if you could house him. I am willing to pay once a month for you too keep him. You may do whatever you want to do the boy, just make sure he stays out of the Wizarding World.
Albus Dumbledore "
Many people give Dumbledore looks when they realize what he wanted them to do to the child.
She frowns, her mind running with thoughts. "If they are alive and okay then why can't they take care of their child? Don't they have twins? Are they just abandoning one child for the other? How disgusting. She always knew their was something wrong with her sister."
"How dare she? There's nothing wrong with me. She should be happy I'm even giving him to her, he's precious!" Lily says making Hadrian scowl.
"If he was so precious why did you give him up? You didn't even fight for him, you just let him go." After Hadrian said that Lily shut up, slouching in her seat. Many people notice the venom in his tone but decide not to question him.
Her frown only deepens when she realizes she'll have to tell Vernon about this. "He dislikes Lily and James but I don't think he'd turn him away. I hope he won't, I can't just abandon him, he's my nephew." She thinks to herself.
She sighs, deciding she'll tell Vernon once he wakes. Taking the sleeping child, she walks over to Dudley's nursery and places him in the crib Dudley outgrew.
She smiles as she places him in the crib before grabbing the extra diapers and baby bottles on the shelf. As she was doing that, Harry slowly woke up. Confused by his surroundings before remembering his parents saying he would be staying with his Aunt Petunia.
When Petunia walked back over she let out a small gasp, startled. "You're a quiet one aren't you? It's a shame my Dudley can't be like that. He always screams as he wakes up." She tells the baby, smiling softly at him.
The baby looks at her, slowly blinking before deciding that he liked her and gave her a smile.
Everyone let out aws at how cute Harry is, a lot of them glad he's in a good home.
Petunia smiled back before picking him up, looking to see if he needed to be changed. "How disgusting! When was the last time Lily changed you? You poor thing. I knew she'd be a terrible mother." Petunia grabs a package of baby wipes, a clean diaper, and a towel before picking up Harry and bringing him into the bathroom.
Lily was seething in her seat. "I'm a wonderful mother!"
After disposing the dirty diaper and cleaning him up, she puts him in the bath, watching as he plays with the bubbles.
Harry suddenly splashed the water towards Petunia, making her laugh. She splashes him back. They play for a few more minutes before she notices his eyes drooping. "Alright, enough fun."
After taking him out the bath and drying him, she puts a new diaper on and feeds him. Once he's fed, she sets him back down in the crib. "Goodnight, Harry."
When she sees that he's struggling, trying to stay awake she says, "I'll be right here when you wake up." As soon as she said that Harry closed his eyes.
Hadrian smiles at his aunt. He should visit her and the others after this is over.
"You're in good hands Harry. I'll treat you the same way I treat my son. Like you're my entire world." Petunia says before leaving the nursery.
Lily frowns, he's her son. Is she trying to replace her? Maybe giving him to Petunia was a bad idea.
When Vernon finally woke up an hour later, Petunia told him about Harry and the letter. "They just left him on the doorstep? And that letter is basically asking us to abuse him!"
When Petunia nods he scowls. "Who does that to a baby? I thought children in the Wizarding World were sacred." Vernon says, remembering when he asked Petunia a little bit about Wizarding World years ago.
"They are, I think there's something wrong with this Dumbledore man. We should definitely keep Harry away from him." Petunia says, making Vernon nodding in agreement. "Better be safe than sorry." He says before the screen goes black.
A lot of people on the "dark" side wonder how muggles could know something is wrong with Dumbledore but not his supporters.(Read: fanatics)
Everyone on the "light" side is frothing at the mouth, upset the stupid muggles insulted their leader.
