Damage Control

(better summary will be added)Confessions spilled as secrets, truths staying untold, people torn apart and left chained to stained realities, it's all a dreadful affair, but through it all, souls find together, sharing laughter, warmth and love for not longer than a second. And that second, that freeing and yearned moment in years of tragedy, that's what Sirius and Remus were for each other. or: a long marauders fic starting in the middle of fifth year, following the events of the first war (not fully canon compliant though).

CW: swearing (but that will be in every chapter), mentions of child abuse lmk if I missed somethinghello, hellothis is happening, okay! I'm writing again, wohooo. (I've already written a bit in advance, so maybe I'll get better with updating regularly)but before starting I need to make a few things clear. 1) this is not not canon compliant but it's not completely compliant either, more like adjacent or something, so things will be different (you will notice one thing for example pretty early on) but the end result will be very similar2) while I have planned the end roughly, not everything is planned out perfectly so I may change a few things as I go on and I'm sorry about that, but plotting a story is not my favorite thing to do and this fic is supposed to be fun, so I allowed myself to already start writing (and posting lol)3) this will not be the fluffiest thing, you've ever read, as it literally immediately starts with angst, BUT that doesn't mean that there won't be any happy moments, I just decided that it would be fun if we started with a fight scene, sue me. 4) as you have noticed, all three (jily and jegulus and marylily) are tagged and no that was not a mistake but there won't be any cheating or "cross-overs", because that sucks and should not be glorified, it will just be a bit messy as feelings often are5) and this is more like general information, but the beginning of this (essentially the rest of 5th year) is a bit more wolfstar focused, but as soon as we start with 6th everything will get broader and we'll get way more povs which I'm so excited for!!!6) and this is just a little life lesson that Remus should also know: do NOT under any circumstance trust Fenrir Greybackanyway, I'm really excited for this and hope you are too!
