You Know Who You Are You Piece of Shit
The next morning was worse. You could feel every pair of eyes on you when you walked into the great hall for breakfast. Yesterday’s whispers and Cedric’s accusations had made their way around school. The first person you saw when you walked into breakfast was your brother. You walked over to him because you haven’t talked to him in a few days.
“Hey Harry. How you been?” You asked.
“Umm fine. How are… holding up?” He replied.
“I’m fine.” You said, putting on a light, fake smile. “How are your classes going?”
“Fine.” He replied, looking at the ground. That was weird. He was normally good at eye contact. He continued, “Umm, I actually have to go.”
Harry got up and practically ran away. You dropped the smile and walked over to your normal table. You sighed and sat down. Mattheo slid into the seat next to you and leaned in close. He whispered in your ear, “You might want to get out of here. Something happened.”
You turned towards him and swallowed hard before whispering back, “What happened?”
“Last night Cedric showed everyone pictures of you… topless. He did the same thing to Cho.” Mattheo answered. “Most people are on his side now. I'm so sorry.”
“You don’t have anything to be sorry about. And I’m staying right here. I’m not running from this.” You replied.
No one was making eye contact with you other than Mattheo until Cho walked over to your table with tears streaming down her face.
“I just heard,” She softly said, “I just heard what he did. I should have never let him take that picture. I’m so stupid.”
“Hey. This isn’t your fault. He did this. Don’t blame yourself.” You reassured her.
“How are you doing?” She asked through more tears.
“I’m holding up. We’ll be fine. Both of us.” You replied. “Come here.”
Cho sat next to you, and you laid her head on your shoulder. You patted down her hair and wrapped your arms around her. You wished none of this had ever happened. No one should ever feel like this. You stayed like that, sad but feeling safe, for only a moment. That moment was ripped from you when you heard a voice whisper at your table, “Faggots.”
You froze. You knew you were bisexual, but you weren’t really out to anyone other than Harry. You had been called a faggot all your life but hearing it in the context of trying to comfort a friend was just disgusting. You turned towards your table group and just asked, “Excuse me?”
No one answered for a tense moment. Then Pansy sighed and said, “Look at you two. Both lying dykes.”
You pressed your tongue to your cheek to calm yourself down. It didn’t work.
Pansy continued, “You’re just a slut and your little girlfriend is a fucking tease.”
“Oh, so now you're listening to Cedric? Weren’t you at the medbay when I had three broken ribs?” You asked.
“Yeah, I was there when you woke up in bed with Mattheo Riddle.” Pansy sneered, “How does that work? You fucking both of them now? I wouldn’t even be surprised.”
You felt Mattheo tense next to you. “I’m not fucking anyone because I’m not desperate. You on the other hand, well we all see how you throw yourself at Draco.”
“Oh, that’s it you little bitch. It’s obvious by the way you look that you a fucking faggot who sleeps with men for attention then lies about it. We all saw those pictures last night.” Pansy practically yelled.
“For you information I’m bisexual and did our fucking ABUSER show you the pictures he took of himself? No? I didn’t think so.” You shot back.
“You're really going to call that abuse? So, he slapped his girlfriend when she wouldn’t fuck him, and he punched you when you tried to destroy his image… that's not abuse.” She argued.
“Yes, it fucking is. And his image? I don’t give a fuck about his image. The only thing I care about is protecting myself and the people he hurt.” You replied.
“And you're protecting Cho by cuddling with her? You probably eat her out and cry with her after about how badly men treat you.” She responded.
“Cho and I aren’t together!” You yelled.
“And how can we believe a word you say?” Pansy questioned.
“Because I've never lied to you before. I didn’t lie about Cedric.” You answered.
“There’s clearly something wrong with you.” Pansy replied, “How else do you explain a Potter being a Slytherin?”
“I didn’t choose this.” You said.
“No, but you choose to sleep with a guy in a relationship then blackmail him.” Draco interrupted.
“I didn’t do either of those things.” You responded, “There's no way in hell you’ll believe me, but I didn’t sleep with him.”
Mattheo interjected and said, “So he couldn’t get his girlfriend of the girl he was cheating with to sleep with him? What is he doing wrong?”
From across the great hall, you heard a familiar voice yell, “You wanna say that to my face Riddle?”
You turned and saw Cedric marching towards you with an angry look in his eye. A look you had only seen once before. He stomped right up to your table and sneered at Mattheo, “Defending your little girlfriend now, are you?”
“I don’t need defending.” You said.
He turned his attention to you. “Really? Then why did you run to him after that night?”
“That night? You mean the night you BROKE THREE OF MY RIBS? I was bleeding internally. I went to him because I needed medical attention.” You responded.
He got closer to you. You visibly flinched. He smirked and said, “Oh don’t worry. I’m not going to hurt you. Well maybe…”
Mattheo replied, “I’m going to kill you.”
He started to form a fist.
“Mattheo don’t.” You cut him off.
“I’m the one who gets to do that.” You said with a smirk.
Cedric raised a fist and swung at you. You were ready for it. It was the same type of throw he made when he attacked you before. You ducked so his punch missed.
Then you hit him square in the jaw as hard as you possibly could.
