Who's Idea was this again?

Cinder’s Pov

It was early morning on July 31, Cinder, Harry, Draco, Night and Cinder Dad were walking towards the pet store. Not like Harry and Draco knew that. Harry asked “Cinder what is the birthday surprise again.” Cinder said “Nope, you're not getting anything out of me.”

“Come on Cinder! It’s our birthday! Surely you could tell us something about our birthday surprise.” Draco said dramatically. Night barked in agreement. Draco said “See, even Night agrees with me.” 

Harry said “Dray stop fighting a losing battle.” “I’m not fighting a losing battle,” Draco said. Cinder said “Boys stop fighting. We're almost there so let’s talk about something else.” Harry said “Anyone heard back from Hogwarts?” Cinder said “Nope.” 

Dad said “I’m sure they will send someone soon. . .” Cinder said “Yeah! I’m sure they will.” Harry said “So how much longer?” Cinder said “Almost there! Close your eyes!” Draco and Harry closed their eyes and Cinder grabbed hold of their hands. Cinder began running and dragging her two best friends along. 

Harry said “Slow down Cinder.” Draco said “Why are we running?” Cinder said “So we can get there faster. Dad, keep up!” They finally made it to the pet store.  Cinder Dad was huffing and puffing. He said “I’m so out of shape.” Cinder only nodded and said “Harry, Draco, open your eyes!”

Just as she said that they did. Cinder said “Tada.” 

Draco’s Pov

Today was July 31, Harry and his birthday. Draco would be lying if he said he wasn't looking forward to this day. Both he and Harry loved their birthday(even though it's really just Harry’s birthday). So when Cinder told him to close there and began dragging them to their mystery destination, they knew it was a big surprise. 

“Harry, Draco, open your eyes!” Cinder said as soon as they stopped. Draco opened their eyes and they were standing in front of a pet store. Night was sitting beside him. Harry said “A pet store?” Cinder said “Yup! We're getting both pets!” Draco said “Pets!” Harry and Draco's eyes lit up at this. 

Cinder said “Yup, go inside and start looking.” Draco said “Night follow.” The black dog got up and followed directly behind Draco. They walked into the store. Mr. Glaze said “Ok, Draco, Harry you guys go look, I’m going to go talk with whoever is working today.” Cinder said “Ok Dad.” 

Harry said “I’m going to look at the reptiles!” As Harry walked off, Night followed him. Draco said “So what should I get?” Cinder said “I don’t know. . .Maybe you should look around and see what is here.” 

Draco nodded. Him and Cinder began to walk around. They saw hamsters, birds, and kittens. They kept walking until Draco saw a ferret. The ferret fur color was Draco’s original hair color. They has blue eyes and had a brown heart on its chest.      

The ferret was staring at them, mostly Draco then Cinder. Draco went over to the ferret. Cinder said “All who’s a cute little guy! Draco are you to him? He’s so cute!” Draco said “Yeah I’m going to get him.” The ferret was still looking at him with his blue eyes. 

Cinder said “I’ll go get my Dad then go find Harry.” Cinder rushed off to go find him. Draco said “Ok little guy, you're going to need a name.” The ferret made a noise. Draco said “Ok, how about I call you Royal? Roy for short.” The ferret made more noise and looked happy with the name.

Soon Cinder’s Dad and an employee walked over and said “You're going to be getting a Ferret?” Draco said “Yes Mr. Glaze.” The pet store employee got Royal out of his enclosure and handed him off to Draco. 

Mr. Glaze asked “So what is his name?” Draco responded “Royal, Roy for short.” 

Harry’s Pov

After leaving Draco and Cinder, he and Night went over to the snakes. They were in the back of the store. Harry walked over to the snake area and heard “~Human~” “~Yesss we can see that~” 

Harry said “~Hello friends. Would any of you be interested in being my pets?~” “~Speaker!~” A black snake said. The other snakes were now looking at him instest. Harry said “~Yes. Would you be interested in being my snake friend?~” The black snake said “~Of course Speaker.~”

Harry asked “~What's your name?~” The black snake said “~Hope~” Harry smiled at Hope. Cinder was walking towards and asked “Harry did you find anything?” Harry nodded and said “Yeah, Cinder I like you to meet Hope. ~Hope I’ll like you to meet my friend Cinder~” Cinder said “Hi Hope. She's so beautiful!” 

Harry said “I know, so did Draco find one?” Cinder nodded, “He found this super adorable ferret!” Harry said “Can’t wait to meet them. ~Hope you won’t mind Night or Draco’s ferret?~” “~Draco?~” Hope said. Harry said “~Yeah Draco, he is my roommate.~” 

“~He has a ferret?~” She said “~Night is the black dog by you, correct?~” Harry said “~Yes, the ferret he is going to be getting today and the black dog is Night. I hope you guys can all be friends.~” “~Well’s see~” Hope said.

Draco walked over to them with a blond ferret on his shoulder. Draco said “Hey Harry.” “Draco! Is that your friend Cinder was talking about! Harry said. Draco said “Yup, Harry, Cinder meet Royal or Roy for short.”

Cinder said “I know I said this before but he is adorable!” Mr. Glaze said “Harry I guessed you found a pet too.” Harry said “Yup.” He showed Mr. Glaze Hope. “~Hope this is Cinder’s Dad~” Harry said “~And the boy with the ferret on his shoulder is Draco, and the ferret is Royal.~” Before Hope could say anything she was brought out of her cage. She was given to Harry and wrapped herself around his arm. 

She looked at Draco and said “~Blond prince is your roommate?~” Harry laughed “~Yes~” Draco asked “Harry what’s so funny?” Harry said “Hope called you ‘Blond prince’.” Cinder laughed at that too, so did Royal and Night. Mr. Glaze said “Come on kids we need to go buy your guys pets, I already grabbed their food.” 

Cinder Pov

It was now 12:56 pm, Harry and Draco were sitting next to her on the couch. Night, Royal, and Hope were sleeping together. Harry and Draco’s birthday was almost over. Cinder knew they had a great time. Harry was resting his head on Draco’s shoulder.

Harry fell asleep around 11 o’clock. Cinder didn’t know why she and Draco were still up but they were. Draco whispered “We should probably go to sleep.” Cinder said “Yeah.” They both adjusted to be more comfortable when they heard a loud knock at the door.

Cinder jumped up and so did Draco. Harry said “What was that?” Cinder said “Don’t know. . .” Draco said “Cinder, go get your dad and tell him someone is at the door!” Cinder nodded and saw Night was now growling at the door. She rushed to her Dad. He was already half to the door. 

He said “Cinder, Draco, Harry-” Before he could say anymore there was more knocking at the door. Night was growling even more. Dad said “You guys get back, we don't know who this person is.” The three nodded as Dad went to open the door.

He opened the door and when they did they saw a giant man with a big beard.
