Someone's Special (ʃƪ^3^)
The shower passed by in the blink of an eye, thankfully it was filled with laughter and chuckles instead of crying and heartbreaking, just like Fred intended.
When it was over and the water was turning freezing cold due to the weather outside, Draco pulled them out from underneath the stream of water and over to the towels supplied by the bath house.
They began drying off without a word, smiling to themselves and feeling giddy.
"Hey, Draco?" Fred asked suddenly. Draco hummed in response and paused his actions momentarily. "How d'you dry yer hair?"
"Why do you wanna know?" Draco shot back with a smile starting to upturn his lips.
" Ah was jus' curious 's all... You ken, with th' horns Ah figured i' would be harder." He said awkwardly, as he was trying to word the sentence in a way that didn't sound like he was making fun of Draco.
Draco chuckled and said, "No, it's not hard. I just have to shake my head back an' forth like a wet dog, is all."
Fred stared at him incredulously. "Nae you do not." He said in disbelief.
"Mhm, makes my hair softer, I don't know why."
Fred huffed a laugh and shook his head in amusement, before his eyes caught sight of Draco's left arm. He didn't know what he would expect to see there, but his best guess was probably close to anybody else's; a faded Dark Mark with scars over it, as if somebody had tried to remove it with a knife.
Despite everything, Fred thought he was beautiful, and he was right.
They made quick work of getting dressed, as they were now cold from being out from under the warm water and were eager to warm up. Well, Fred was, Draco didn't mind the cold, he actually welcomed it, but he got dressed quickly anyways.
Fred adorned the same clothes as before, as he was unsure if there was a wash station at the hotel considering how old it is. Besides, his clothes weren't even dirty, atleast, not campared to Draco's work clothes.
Draco looked amazing, thanks to Fred's keen eye. He wore blue boot cut jeans with obvious homade coloured patches on the sides and knees, paired with a faded gray shirt with a woman holding her face in horror, the words 'Scream' were written just underneath it. He pulled a dark greenish-blue looking flannel over the whole outfit, making his unglamoured hair pop.
Stunning was the only word that came to Fred's mind when he looked at him.
Draco sighed when he looked in the mirror across from the towels and soaps, a sad look in his eyes as he stared. Fred noticed, Fred would always notice, if he could help it.
He gently hugged Draco from behind once more, wrapping his arms protectively around his waist while planting his chin on the shorter man's head like it belonged there. They stared at each other through the looking glass, lost in their own little worlds that were the other's eyes.
After a minute, Draco said his glamour charm and he was back to blonde. Fred smiled sadly at him, before kissing the top of his head, than gathered Draco's clothes and pulling him out the door.
They walked in silence through the bath house and back to the front office. Draco sighed one last time before opening the front doors, making Fred shiver slightly at the cold temperature of the outside world.
They walked back to the main hotel in a comfortable silence, neither wanting to break it. Which sadly didn't last long, as the front doors to the hotel slammed open with a bang so loud it made Draco flinch.
"Doraaakooo!" Anya and Akemi yelled from the doorway.
"Whaaatt?!" He yelled back, annunciating his vowels the same way.
"We're all hungry-" Akemi started.
"And we wan' Abuela's food!" Anya finished.
Draco sighed dramatically and said in a mock annoyed tone, "Fine, throw these inside, " He said while gesturing to the clothes in Fred's arms, " And go and tell everyone we're getting food and going shopping."
The girls squealed, sprinted to grab the clothes out of the man's arms, and ran back inside, bright exited smiles on their faces. Not a moment later, Ron was running out of the hotel with his hands above his head and a shouting Hermione and chuckling Harry and Ginny following close behind.
"Food!" He shouted in his thick Scottish accent, as if he were shouting 'Freedom.'
"Ronald! Is that really all you think about-"
"Yes! Bloody hell, Ahm starving 'Mione!" He said as he made his way over to the car.
The others made their way out of the hotel, respectfully shutting the door behind them. George was out first, than Mrs. Weasley, who walked over to the car, each hand holding smaller ones to make sure they didn't trip on the terrain, Mr. Weasley following behind.
Fred turned to Draco with a questioning look, as if to ask silently if this was okay with him. He got a short shrug in response before he was pulled by the arm over to the now shifting car, thanks to Hermione's re-enlargment spell.
Draco opened back door for the group as if he were a bag boy holding open a door to a fancy hotel, signaling to the rest to climb into the vehicle. They all complied, apart from Fred and Ginny who were going to be sitting in the front, but the line stopped with Akemi and Anya staring at him and Fred curiously.
"What?" Draco asked, "Don't just stand there, get in, it'll get dark soon."
"You too' th' car sea's out." Akemi squeaked.
Draco stared at her confusedly for a minute before realization him him, along with his hand in frustration. He sighed and said to the girls, rubbing his face in mild annoyance, "Okay, just get in and sit on the floor, I'll go get the car seats, wait until I get back." He then turned to Fred with a slightly exasperated look. "Can you start the car? Keys should be in the glove box."
Fred nodded with a genuine smile plastered on his face, he was happy to do anything for Draco.
The blonde just smiled at him and uttered a, "Thanks, love." Before immediately realizing what he had said, eyes widening and face going red. He stood there for a moment just staring at Fred's equally red face and bright smile, before he turned tail and ran back into the house to get the car seats.
The girls just giggled beside him, as if Draco had said an inside joke and was laughing because the king of jokes didn't know it.
"What?" He asked, turning his gaze down to the toddlers.
"Dorako doesn't let anybody touch his car, let alone start it!" Anya said through fits of giggles, before pulling her sister in the car to sit on the floor.
If it were possible, Fred's face got redder.
