Chapter 3
Harrikins! Good to know you
are Dark now. Care for some
Cookies?
F & G
Haha. I don't know if I'm Dark, per se; more like accepting.
How are you doing?
H
We're doing great! Thanks for the money.
It's being put to good use.
Very good use.
F & G
I'm not sure I want to know.
H
:)
:)
F & G
Is it Dark or Light?
H
Yes.
F & G
I have to go make dinner. TTYL
H
------
Hi Professor, how are you doing?
H
I gave this journal to you for emergencies, Potter.
S
Well it kind of is. I think my wrist's broken.
H
I will alert Lupin. He's watching you in five minutes.
S
Thought you were going to make a comment about my messy handwriting.
What do you mean Remus is watching me?
H
Your script is as messy as ever, Potter. Messier, if that is possible.
Dumbledore has several people watching you. He claims this is for your safety, but it is more so you do not flee.
S
K
H
Your wolf would not do that to you. You are his cub. Your safety and happiness mean everything to him.
S
Thank Merlin.
H
------
Harrikins! Dumblebutt showed up.
Remus told Mum about your broken wrist.
She went ham on Dumbledore.
They're both insisting you stay with Snuffleupagus (Sirius) instead of the Muggles.
Dumbledore's telling her that you're safe and it's just a misunderstanding.
F & G
Remus' wolf just came out.
He says he had to heal you himself,
so, he should know that your wrist was broken.
He's saying the Muggles were happy you were in pain.
Mum's gone off on Dumbledore again.
F & G
Good news!
You're staying at Snuffleupagus' place!
See you later, little brother

Lupin wants me to tell you that he'll pick you up at nine p.m. tonight. Be sure to be packed.

Harry sighed and stood up. He should probably be getting back to Privet Drive, given that it was almost nine.
He started walking down the street away from the park.
If the fake Moody hadn't assured him that Voldemort wasn't going to kill him (yet), he would've stayed at the house. But now that he knew he was safe outside of Privet Drive, Harry found ways to escape to the park whenever he could. He spent a lot of time playing with the Muggle kids. He found he adored their happiness and excitement. Maybe he would do the same at Hogwarts....
He stopped. The temperature, which had been 35 degrees Celsius as of ten seconds ago, now felt around zero. The sky had darkened, and it was slightly foggy.
Harry swiftly pulled out his wand and started running towards Privet Drive. As he did, it grew steadily colder....
