Pansmione - Hot Chocolate
“Do you have to make it the muggle way? It takes you forever.”
Hermione hummed, continuing to heat the milk on their stove, stirring it constantly as it heated to a boil. “It tastes better than when you make it with magic, Pansy. We’ve had this discussion. Do you want me to explain my theory as to why-“
“No,” Pansy interrupted, “No, Babe. Just… do it how you want.”
Hermione nodded to herself, satisfied, and added the chocolate powder to the milk the moment it rolled to a boil. She stirred three more times (a magic she’d learned from her muggle parents long before she’d heard of Hogwarts) and turned off the heat.
Pansy leaned over Hermione as she divided the cocoa into their two matching cups. “It looks delicious, ‘Mione.”
“Be careful,” Hermione chided as Pansy brought her cup to her lips, “It’s very hot.”
“That is the point of hot chocolate, isn’t it?” Pansy teased, taking a careful sip. She gasped a little, then blew on the top to cool it down for her second drink.
Hermione was carefully doing the same, determined to slightly cool the beverage before her first drink. She didn’t want to burn her mouth the way Pansy (slightly) had.
To Hermione’s surprise, Pansy bent down and kissed her. The taste of chocolate mixed with Pansy was more delicious than either alone.
