THE next day, you were grateful that you were blessed enough to wake up. You were stuffed in the middle of the bed. Remus was on the right side of you with his head resting on his hands while he snored peacefully. Sirius was on the left side of you. He slept on his back with his arms and legs spread wide open. His snores were louder which filled the quiet bedroom. The blankets, sheets, and pillows that were laid under and over you were warm. They were sucking you and lightly begging you to not get out of bed. And you fell asleep once more to the sound of Sirius Black and Remus Lupin snoring in the quiet house you shared.

-

Four hours later, Remus was the first one to wake up. He got up quietly in order to not wake you and Sirius up. His bare feet padded their way down the stairs of twelve Grimmuald Place and found their way into the kitchen. He started boiling water for the morning tea.

Soon after, Sirius joined Remus in the kitchen. He slid his hands around Remus’s naked torso and kissed his shoulder. Sirius was very clingy and loving in the morning despite not being a morning person. And that’s how they stayed, one holding the other while they waited for the water to boil in the kettle on the stove.

Sirius missed days like this when he was in Azkaban. He remembered how sad, angry, and depressed he was in those prison walls. He would scream and cry and push himself on the barred doors. But to no avail, they never budged. He didn’t have to worry about those things anymore. Now, he was home and safe with the man and the woman he loved.

“Remus, I know I said we could wait a while to propose to her but I have a bad feeling that something bad is gonna happen,” Sirius mumbled. There was this feeling in his chest that someone important saw him at the ministry last night. That someone could have reported that he was still alive and out there.

“Bad things are going to happen. We’re in a war,” Remus said as he turned one of the knobs on the stove.

“It feels just like last time doesn’t it?”

“Yes. This time though, nothing is going to happen to any of you. I’ll make sure of it,” Remus turned around and threw his arms over Sirius’s shoulder. Sirius hugged Remus tight. He was afraid that if he let go there would be dementors and the Minister of Magic waiting to take him away. He couldn’t do it again. He could not go back to Azkaban because if he did, it would mean he would be up for the death penalty. “Tonight. We do it tonight. We can make her dinner and we can dress up nice for her. Merlin knows she needs it after losing Tonks last night,” Sirius broke away from the hug but he was still within a few inches of Remus.

“As I said before, I don’t care what we do. I just want to get married to you and to her,” Remus took Sirius’s hands into his. He pressed his lips onto the back of Sirius’s left hand and then to the right.

You and Sirius are the only thing keeping Remus from living with his own kind. The two of you have been nothing but kind and loving to him since the day you met. He would stop at nothing to make sure that everything that the two of you desire was met. He would buy you and Sirius the world if the two of you ask for it. The only problem was that his pockets were often empty and that brought him so much shame. But you and Sirius would often say that money wasn’t important and that the only thing the two of you needed was him. Remus could not believe that he was lucky enough to have not one but two partners that love and cherish him.

“Morning,” you cracked your knuckles as you stepped into the kitchen. You walked past Sirius and Remus and went over to the fridge that was tucked into the corner.

Dumbledore had been generous enough to buy the three of you groceries. It was a thank-you gift for letting twelve Grimmuald Place be the home and headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix. It was stocked with enough fruit, vegetables, dairy products, and meat to last you months. And thanks to Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration, the food could last you years.

“What do you want for breakfast?” you scanned the fridge for any food item you could use for breakfast. “We’ve basically got everything so, what does your pretty little heart desire?” you smirked.

You were in a surprisingly good mood despite Tonks dying last night. You knew Tonks well enough to know that she wouldn’t want you to cry about her death. She would want to be celebrated instead of mourned. So that’s what you were doing. Celebrating the life of Nymphadora Tonks.

“Well,” Remus closed the fridge door which caused you to move out of the way. “We wanted to do the cooking and cleaning today. You can go back to sleep or go watch the telly or something.”

“The entire day? I thought we were just doing dinner,” Sirius looked at Remus with confusion. It was Remus’s turn to give Sirius a pointed look. Sirius’s eyes widened as he realized that he had just ruined the surprise.

“Dinner? Dinner for what? Are we having people over?” You paced around the room as you began to panic. You didn’t know that you had dinner plans for tonight until about five seconds ago! What would you do? What would you wear? Who would be there? Your head was filled to the brim with rhetorical questions.

Remus placed his hand on your shoulder, “calm down, love. We aren’t having anyone over. It’s just the three of us.”

“Do I have to dress fancy?” You didn’t have anything too fancy. The only thing that could classify as fancy were the dress robes your mother had sewn you once she found out how whimsical and quirky wizarding fashion was.

“No.”

“Yes,” Remus and Sirius said at the same time. Remus looked at Sirius who just shrugged his shoulders. Remus shook his head and looked down at you, “wear whatever makes you happy.”
“Fine,” and with that, you skipped out of the kitchen to lounge around the house and do nothing all day. You were starting to like the idea of having your boyfriends do everything for you. Even if it was just for one day.

-

Dinner was ready and you were practically starving. The sandwich you ate at lunchtime did well to hold you off until about three hours later. Remus and Sirius forbade you from going into the kitchen until dinner was over.

“Thank goodness dinners are ready. You two practically starved me,” you threw your arms up into the air. Tonight, you had chosen to get dressed in one of your fancier options. It was a black backless jumpsuit with a high neck and a keyhole cut out in the front. Sirius was wearing black slacks with a black button-up and a usual waistcoat but instead of it being purple it was white. Remus was clad in a white collared shirt with a red wool jumper over it and black slacks. Merlin, you missed seeing him dressed like this every day.

“Well, I hope it was worth it. Tuck in,” Remus said as he put a napkin on his lap. The dining room had been completely transformed.

The brown cracked walls that were covered in cobwebs were now painted a nice dark black color. The china that lined the shelved walls of the dining room was looking cleaner as well as the wooden table that now had a green tablecloth over it. There was a white table runner that ran down the middle of the table that had candles upon candles on it. The table was set perfectly without a dish or utensil set out of place. You didn’t feel like you were in twelve Grimmuald Place anymore. You felt like you were transported to the fanciest restaurant in all of the Wizarding World.

The three of you talked and ate your food. You changed from topic to topic over a long period of time. Soon enough though, unbeknownst to you, it was go time. This would be the final moment when Sirius and Remus would ask you to marry them!

“So, we’ve been together for almost twenty-one years now and we’ve known each other for a lot longer than that. In those many long years, I’ve been imprisoned. There was not a day that went by that I didn’t think about the both of you. I don’t regret doing a lot of things in my life but there is one thing I do regret and that was not marrying the both of you as soon as possible,” Sirius signaled to Remus to pull out the velvet ring box from his pocket with the nod of his head.

“What he’s trying to say is,” Remus cut in. Now, in this last part, they said everything in complete unison, “Y/N Evans will you make us the happiest men in the world and marry us?” There was. The gold ring in the box that you’d seen just a bit before you went to the department of mysteries. It still looked the same but now it had a different meaning. It would officially bond the three of you together forever.

“Yes, Yes. A thousand times yes!” You got up from your chair and jumped up and down. You then grabbed the ring from inside the black velvety box and slid it on your ring finger. It was the most beautiful thing you had seen in your entire life. It was even prettier than Lily’s engagement ring that James spent a fortune on.

“It was my mother's ring,” Remus smiled when he had seen the way you were admiring it. Hope Lupin was one of the most important people in his life and he was glad to share a piece of her with you.

“Oh, it’s beautiful. I love. Thank you,” you said without taking your eyes off the ring.

“Oh, I almost forgot,” Sirius reached into his back pocket and pulled out another ring. This one was just a simple gold band.

“This is for you, Remus,” Sirius held out his hand with the ring in it. Remus wasn’t expecting a ring but he was grateful for it nonetheless. He slid it onto his ring finger and gazed at it lovingly. Remus wasn’t really one for jewelry but when he finally had the ring on his finger he couldn’t do anything but swoon.

“What? No grand speech for Remus,” you raised a brow.

“We’ve been engaged for months now. We were just hiding it so yours could be a surprise.” Your mouth was opened wide. They kept this secret for months and you didn’t once question what they were up to. Maybe it was good that the only big secret they kept for months was that they were already engaged to be married.

Even after the initial shock of the proposal wore off, you were still pretty surprised that it was happening. After staying up at night and fantasizing about getting married it was finally happening. You would finally be a wife and Sirius and Remus would be your husbands!
