A/N: Hey Guys Sorry i have been gone for so long don’t really have an excuse but i just didn’t feel like writing. However I have had a bunch of story ideas bouncing around in my head for a while now and thought I would post them here for anyone to take a stab at. They will be posted on both Fanfiction under Overkord and Archive of our own under the username ShiniCho. So let me know where you are going to post so I can add and read. The first idea is down below and is a One Piece idea.
Story Idea
The Slave King Pirate
So this is an odd idea for a slightly darker and more mature Storyline for One Piece. The main story stays Canon until the reaching of Logue Town. First Change is that They arrive a day early the day before Luffy’s Bounty is posted. Next Slavery is a bigger thing in this version of the universe and has some key changes to it. The first is after the efforts of Fisher Tiger freeing so many slaves the Celestial dragons demanded of the Gorosei a way to guarantee that it could never happen again. This made the Gorosei procure a particular Devil Fruit that allows the User to Imbue controls and rules into images and seals basically making the Tattoos that are branded on the slaves controls that are tied to the Owner through blood.
The rules basically make the slaves have to obey direct orders from their master, and cannot harm themselves or their masters directly or indirectly (damage from combat is an exception as long as it isn’t with the master). The Slave cannot be some arbitrary distance from the master (basically can’t be on separate islands).Must tell the truth to the master. Etc. (add any other rules you think would make it more interesting.) The Next big change about slavery is that there are Multiple Islands that have Slave Auction houses not just sabaody archipelago including Logue Town. (Basic idea is any island with a Strong Marine Presence can have a Slave Auction or even islands that are run by the 4 emperors.) You can add more but for the First half of the grand line there is a Slave Auction house at Logue Town, a Secret one in Alabasta (put in by Crocodile), one on Water seven and obviously the one on Sabaody Archipelago. Rules of the Slave trade are the only rules that Celestial Dragons will follow because of the introduction of the empowered Slave Seals. Basic rules are as follows. 1. A Slave Owner cannot become a slave themselves unless all slaves under them are sold or deceased. 2. A Slave can only be transferred through Private Sale, Auction, Wager, or the death of the Owner. 3. All Purchases at the Auction House are to the Highest Bidder and are final. The Final change because of the Slavery is that not only are there independent Slave capturing pirates to supply the market there are also Dark Marine groups like the CP groups but only dealing with Slaves.
Because of all this a few things happen in Logue Town that are different. The first is that Nami and Luffy go out together to shop since Nami wants to keep a low profile and figures that she needs to keep Luffy on a tight leash. Somehow during the trip they come across the Auction House Nami keeps Luffy from destroying everything but then an important thing happens. Alvida after eating the Slip Slip Fruit is up for Auction. And while Luffy doesn’t really care for her he can tell that she is terrified and so bids on her and wins. Thus making him her Master. This means that the attack on Luffy the next day at the execution platform doesn’t involve Alvida attacking him. The other General Changes are that Luffy and the crew take everything more seriously having now been exposed to a darker side of the world they live in. This means they train more and are stronger in each of the subsequent fights that they participate in. They will also take better care of Merry. Luffy also has decided that he will eventually find a way to free all of the slaves from this. I don’t have anything hard added after this however I would like to see each of the other slave auctions visited and someone purchased either someone from the crew's pasts or a notable figure in the world. This is not an excuse to add OCs.
Pairings aren’t set although would personally prefer M/F no M/M
