Prologue

Harry knew from an early age that not everyone is created equal. That sometimes, people will hurt you until you find your place in the world. He learned this because he knew it, knows it rather. From his Uncle Vernon, who hates him on principle. His cousin Dudley, who hates him because it is the only thing he knows. And finally, from his Aunt Petunia, who loathes his very being because he is her sister's child.

Harry learned from this, reacted to this, grew from this abuse. He bettered himself to one day escape their clutches. To free him for eternal strife because of his parents dying. Then, one day everything changed, he removed himself instead of waiting to be saved. Harry knew that if he stayed, he would have died.

That being said, he really wished he knew where he was. All he knew was that he was at home with his family, and next he was in the middle of the street of an unknown place. Looking around like a lost puppy, he finds himself in London. He debates on asking for directions, but instead heads in the direction he thinks leads the way. Before long, the sun sets and he has no idea where he is, but he continues. Not long after he hears footsteps behind him, so he starts to run. Soon enough he runs into a dead end, and that's when he meets him, his savior.
