Prologue
It was a very depressing day. The clouds were blocking the sky, and a thick fog settled on the ground; it won't be moving anytime soon. That didn't stop the Dursleys from celebrating Dudley's eighth birthday, and since no one could watch him, Harry had to go as well. It wasn't that it didn't excite him, being able to go out just this once, but he knew the Dursleys will make it as miserable as possible for him.
"BOY! Get in the car! We're Leaving! And if you do anything freakish or don't obey our explicit orders, you will be locked in till Christmas! Is that clear, boy." Vernon told him with disgust and anger.
Harry gave a nod in reply knowing that Vernon hates hearing his voice unless he's screaming in pain. Dudley is whinnying about Harry going and ruining his birthday and when they can get him more presents, Petunia is trying to reassure her 'Dudykins' that he won't.
Meet the Dursleys, Harry's last living 'family' since his mother and father died in a car crash while drunk driving.
Harry doesn't see them as a family though. He's seen what other families do, and not once did any of the adults treat their children and nieces or nephews in any semblance of what the Dursleys do to him. Those families don't hurt each other intentionally, don't expect anyone to follow their exact commands, no talk about being punished for back talking or doing anything or creativity, and there is no fear in the children's eyes when they talk and look at their parents; not as he looks at the Dursleys. In fact, they actually encourage their children to be creative, to not fear their family, and to not hurt anyone. The only thing they discourage is being rude while still being allowed to stand up for themselves if the need arises.
Harry also overheard a parent telling their children that if anyone who is family or friend hurts them, says nasty things to them, or does not give them proper care then they are not family or friends; they are bad people. With that logic, the Dursleys are not Harry's family and are bad, but every time he tries to say something no one believes him or something bad happens to them. Harry has stopped trying by now, waiting until he can either get emancipated or reach eighteen.
If you haven't figured it out already, his name is Harry. Harry Potter. The Freak with hair black as night and as tussled as a bird's nest. The Burden with emeralds for eyes. The Punching bag who has a lightning bolt-shaped scar, out of the many, on his forehead. The friend to a shadowed glitch, who will help him shape the world to his image and take revenge on those who oppose him.
30-minute time skip
It's been about thirty minutes but has felt like an hour with all the noise the others in the car are making. Dudley is whinnying about how far it is and how unfair it was that Harry got to go, as usual. Petunia was talking to her husband about the gossip she heard as well asking about his work, while at the same time trying to reassure Dudley that it wouldn't be too long until they got there. She sounded very stupid since she kept breaking off in the middle of her sentences to talk to the two whales, Vernon and Dudley. Vernon was off muttering about Harry being an ungrateful freak, commenting on what he thought about the gossip, and responding to the questions about work while talking more about it than necessary.
It was all very boring and annoying to Harry. He has always been able to see and hear things others can't, his senses being enhanced. He could see like a hawk and hear like a wolf and because of this, noisy places give him the splitting headache he has right now. The Dursleys are practically talking over each other in over-excited voices meaning they're louder than normal, they're usual is deafeningly loud, making them sound very stupid and jumbled. They call themselves 'upstanding citizens.'
Finally, after what seemed like hours, they arrived at their destination. Fazbear's Dinner in America. The Dursleys were only able to go because Uncle Vernon got a promotion and was able to pay for the flight tickets for everyone, even Harry as much as they all grumbled about it.
Vernon parked the car, making sure everyone got out (Apparently the car was new and Vernon didn't want anyone to see Harry) and into the building without any fuss, well, without any fuss from anyone but Dudley. What was inside was what Harry could only describe as wonderland and hell combined. While the animatronics and other electronics were practically drool-worthy, did he ever mention him being a secret genius? All the noises from screaming and crying children, and the brightness from the lights and camera flashes made Hary's headache turn into a migraine.
After that Harry made an effort to focus on one thing and tune out everything else. He started with the staff, he had to make sure who to avoid in case something happens. One looked annoyed at a customer, Karen. Another looked like he hadn't slept in four years, most of them looked like that. One actually seemed to like working at the diner and was helping a multitude of crying and bratty kids.
All the staff looked pretty ordinary until Harry spotted a male with brown hair with purple highlights and tips, almond-shaped lavender eyes, a sharp jawline that had obviously gotten softer with age but still classified as sharp, and a little bit of a stubble on his chin that adds to the sharp look. The man's eyebrows were perfectly sculpted as well, but that isn't what caught his curiosity.
On the left side of the man, there was a human-sized stuffed bunny that had crooked whiskers, a constant smile that shows all of its teeth and reaches its wide, glowing violet eyes. It had yellow fur with a patch of white on its stomach and a purple, sleeveless vest with star outlines in a lighter shade of purple, which looked way too small on its figure, and a purple bowtie to go with the vest. The bunny looked like it hadn't been touched in years, looking very dirty and worn. It had visible stitches that barely kept the limbs and different color patches together. He wanted to go ask the man what the bunny was and why it looked so similar to his own. His own bunny is hiding right now, not wanting to distract Harry and get him in trouble.
Of course, something had to go wrong with Harry Potter. While Harry was observing, Vernon and Petunia paid for an 'all you can buffet' pass and got a table. Harry should have realized that the Dursleys would ruin everything for him. This was realized when Vernon opened his mouth, "Boy, I won't have you ruining Dudley's birthday. Go outside and stay there. If you run, you better not get caught or come back. I can assure you, you won't like what I will do." Vernon said just before Harry could sit down.
He just nodded mutely and went outside, saying he needed a break from the noise at the reception desk. He had a feeling of someone watching him the whole way outside. Harrys almost hope to get kidnapped, at least he would be away from the Dursleys then.
