A’ppy Birfday Daddy!

Neville

Neville woke up to the sound of giggling. He was confused because Silas wouldn’t have been able to get out of his crib. Not unless it was accidental magic.

“A’ppy Birfday Daddy!” Silas giggled. Neville opened his eyes and saw Severus holding Silas and a tray of food floated in front of them.

“Happy Birthday Daddy. Silas and I made you breakfast.” Severus bounced their son up and down. Silas nodded.

“Fo Daddy’s Birfday! Eats!” The tray was sat on his lap as his family sat on the bed next to him. On the tray, there were three plates. One plate had cut-up pancakes with berries, bananas, and sausage. The others had a stack of pancakes, sausages, and two eggs.

“Thank you so much! I’ve never had breakfast in bed before. Did you help Tad make the breakfast?” Neville asked his happy little boy.

“Yeah!” Silas bounced as he shoved a banana piece in his mouth.

“Chew please.” Severus reminded their son. “He was a big helper. Cooking is a lot like brewing, isn't it my little potion master?” Silas and Severus have been brewing a lot lately. When Neville got home most nights they were almost done with their potions.

“It is perfect thank you.” Neville kissed Silas and then Severus. Their relationship has only grown. The potion master must have gotten there early today. Severus has never spent the night when Silas was home. They talked about it and though their relationship was going really well they didn’t want to risk going too fast. Severus had his potions as well.

Neville has thought about adding a potions lab on his home. There was plenty of room. Even if they continue to see each other and become a family Neville didn’t want to leave his home. He wondered if Severus would want to live here.

“Silas, do you want to tell Daddy what the first thing we are doing today is?” Severus prompted the toddler.

“Si Si go Zoo wif Daddy and Tad!” Neville knew that his son has been wanting to go to the Zoo with them. A birthday at the zoo sounds perfect. Honestly, anything with the two of them sounds perfect.

“Oh, the Zoo! I’m excited Si Si!”

They finished their breakfast. Silas was a mess but he looked so cute. Severus kissed him softly and told him he would get Silas ready for the day and Neville could shower.

That was a present enough. A shower uninterrupted or rushed because he was afraid Silas would wake up is a gift.

After an extra long shower, Neville walked out into the living room to see Severus sitting on the floor with toys surrounding them.

“Tad hold baby!” Silas handed him his baby doll.  “Shh sweepin!” His son held a finger to his lips.

“I’ll be quiet. Can’t wake the baby.” Severus whispered.

“ ‘Arry and Char Char has baby. Daddy and Tad has baby? Tophy brofer, i be brofer?”  Silas cocked his head and looked at the older wizard.

“One day Silas, you will be a big brother. I’m sure you will be the best big brother. I see how well you take care of your baby.” Neville placed his hands on his chest. Did he just hear Severus Snape say that they would have a child together again? That he wanted a child with him.

“Looks like you two are having fun! Are you ready for the Zoo?”

“Yeah!”

Silas

Silas wriggled as he sat on Tad's shoulders. The Zoo was one of his favorite places! He couldn’t wait to see all the animals. His Granda owns the Zoo! Unca Harry and Unca Charlie work at the zoo too! Pop Pop doesn’t. He owned a shop like Daddy!

“Tad Si Si ‘ee ‘ooncalfs! Daddy ‘ooncalfs!” Silas knew they were coming up to the Mooncalfs. Those were his favorites!

“Of course Silas. We can go see the Mooncalfs. Tad has never seen them before.” Tad has never seen mooncalfs before.

“Oh, no! Tad ‘ee ‘ooncalfs now! Okay, Tad?” Silas leaned on Tad's head.

“Sure, my little potion master. We have to see the mooncalfs. They are your favorite, so we must. Then we can go see Daddy’s favorite since it is his birthday.” Silas nodded. It was Daddy’s birthday.

“Daddy Birfday! Happy Daddy! Tad got Daddy cake!” Silas knew that with birthdays, there was always cake.

“He did, did he?” Daddy looked at Tad. Daddy looked happy. Really happy!

“Our son wasn’t supposed to tell you, but yes, there is cake. What is a birthday without cake? Now shall we go see these mooncalfs.

Silas didn’t hear what else his parents were talking about. He was too busy looking at everything around him.

When they got to the mooncalfs, Silas wriggled until Tad took him off his shoulders.

“Daddy! Tad! ‘Ook! Baby ‘ooncalfs!” The boy bounced up and down. This was the bestest day ever!

Severus

Severus had his arm around the back of the couch. Neville’s head was on his chest. He pressed a kiss into the younger man’s hair. It has been a long day. It was a wonderful day, but long.

“How was your birthday, Pet?” Severus asked Neville's fingers dragged in lazy patterns over his chest.

“It was the best birthday I've ever had. Thank you so much, Severus.” It wasn’t over yet. Severus has yet to give him the gift he bought him. Silas helped him make soaps and shampoos.

“I’m thrilled to hear that, Pet. You have one last present to open.” Neville sat up and turned to face him. There was a smirk on his face. Severus wanted to kiss it off, but he would have to wait.

Severus used accio for the square box. He handed it to Neville; he wasn't too worried about the younger man not liking it.

Neville smiled and pulled the box open. The man gasped when he saw the watch that was set on the crushed velvet. The watch had a wooden case that had protection runes carved. The dial showed the gears from inside the watch. The band was made of buttery leather that was braided.

“Oh, Severus! This… This is too much. You didn’t have to buy me anything. The soap and shampoo were enough.” Neville clasped the watch onto his wrist before he threw himself at Severus.

The younger wizard peppered his face with kisses. When Neville reached his lips, the kiss turned more urgent. Severus couldn’t get enough of him. He was getting drunker with each kiss.

“Do…Do you have to leave yet?” Neville asked as he pressed their foreheads together. Both of them tried to calm their breathing. The man will be the death of him.

“Of course not, Pet. How about we finish this someplace more comfortable?” Neville hopped up from the couch and pulled him toward the bedroom.

“Best birthday ever,” Neville said as he closed the door and warded the room.

Severus preened, then he walked up to the younger man and playfully pushed him onto the bed. He would make this birthday one to remember always.

Harry

It was Sunday family dinner, and it was a special one because it was the one that his parents celebrated both his and Neville’s birthday. They both talked Pops out of having a party. Harry was still having issues with morning, afternoon, and night sickness. Little Bear is already a handful. They will be worth it in the end. He couldn’t wait to find out what they will be. He knows his Pops wanted a girl and Dad truly didn’t care. He knows Charlie wants a little girl. The man would spoil her rotten. Not that he doesn’t spoil Topher rotten. Harry wouldn't have it any other way. It was cute to see the grumpiest of bears melt when his son asks for anything.

“Little Pixie, are you all ready to go?” Charlie walked into the room with Topher hanging upside down. The toddler giggled when he poked at the exposed belly.

“All set! Let's go to Pop Pop’s and Grandas!” Charlie turned their son right side up and Harry took him and kissed his nose.

“I ‘ee Si Si!” Harry nodded. They walked out of the house. Tooth and Fang sat on the porch. They both jumped up when they noticed them. The dogs were ready to see their family as well.

“Will Justin be there today?” Harry asked when they crossed the yard. He liked the mind healer. He was a perfect addition to their family. His parents loved to adopt all.

Charlie nodded with a smirk. “Yes, he will be here. Justin would hate to miss spending time with Barnaby.” Topher wriggled in his arms. Harry placed his son down in the grass and watched as he and the dogs toddled to the front porch of his parent’s house.

Right on time, the door opened and there stood his dad. The half-giant smiled down at his grandson.

“Poo’ Bear!”

“Gran!” Topher made grabby hands to the older wizard, who bent down and picked up his grandson. “I ‘ee Pop Pop!”

“Let's go see ‘em.” His dad took his son into the house. Harry looked at Charlie and shrugged.

“I guess we don’t get a hello today.” Harry chuckled as they entered the house.

“Don’t be silly, birthday boy! How could we forget about you?” Barnaby, who had Topher in his arms, pulled Harry into a hug. “Your brother should be here soon! So will Justin. Oh, I love having a full house! I can’t wait till this little one is with us too!” Barnaby touched his barely there bump.

“Me either Pops.”

Justin

Justin picked up the two small gift bags. Family dinner with the Hagrids was the highlight of his week. He wished he were closer to his family. After what happened with his brother, they seemed to drift apart.

He grabbed a handful of floo powder and spoke to his destination. When he walked out of the floo, the house he walked into was full of laughter.

“Justin!” The small wizard pulled him into a tight hug.

“Hi, Barnaby. It is so good to see you!” He closed his eyes and let the warmth of the huge sink in.

“It’s good to see you as well, my sweet boy. I hope you haven’t been working too hard.” Barnaby cupped his cheeks. Justin leaned into his touch.

“No, too much. I’ve got a few fresh cases, but nothing I can’t handle. Don’t worry about me. Sunday dinners are just what the healer ordered.”

“Good, I’m glad. Now come get something to drink. All my boys are here now.” Barnaby clasped his hand and pulled him towards the kitchen. The table was full of food and all the chairs were but two. One for him and the other for Barnaby.

“J J!” Both Silas and Topher yelled from their high chairs.

“Hey, they're my two favorite boys!” Justin has fallen in love with his ‘nephews”. Justin was shocked when they called him uncle. He bought them toys the next week.

“Happy Birthday Neville and Harry!” He said as he sat at the table.

“Thanks, Justin, good to see you,” Neville said with a smile. The blond looked happier with the potion master sitting by his side.

“Thanks, Justin! You are looking good!” Harry complimented. He wished he felt as good as he looked. He was lonely.

“You are positively glowing, Harry. Pregnancy looks good on you!” Harry blushed and stuffed a piece of bread into his mouth.

After a few more hellos, the family talked about their week and what was going on for the next. Justin took it all in. Only feeling a little jealous of the couple. He knows one day he will have a man of his own.

Draco

Draco groaned as the potion in his pot curdled. This was the 5th attempt at this potion. He couldn’t get it right. He had to get this right. Draco’s quality of life depended on this damn potion. He picked up the cauldron and threw it against the wall. He hissed in pain. Draco looked down at his hand and saw the red, blistered skin.

He growled silently as he pulled out his wand. With a quick, silent healing spell, Draco stalked out of the potion lab. The house was empty again. Of course, it was empty, Severus had his own family. Jealousy stabbed his chest. He knew he would never have what Severus had.

Draco made his way to the back door. He needed fresh air. He just made it to the chair outside before he collapsed in it. Tears pooled in his eyes. Draco put his head in his hands and took a ragged breath. Something has to change. He couldn’t go on much more like this.

Prologue

Boy was bad. He was always bad. That is what his uncle and aunt always told him. Boy was ungrateful, lazy, stupid. Boy must do all the chores. Boy only can have their cousin's hand-me-downs. Boy shouldn’t speak unless spoken to. Boy, don’t eat until the others are finished.

This is how it has been for all 6 years of his life. Boy, didn’t even get to go to school like his cousin. Boy had to be locked in the cupboard under the stairs unless he was needed.

Though today Boy got to stay with the old lady next door. Boy, didn’t mind that she had a lot of cats. She was the one that took Boy to the hospital last week when Boy was bad and Uncle had to punish him. Uncle yelled at the old woman because of the bright red cast he wore. Boy, wasn’t truly that hurt, he said. That he wasn’t worth the trouble. Boy knew that already, but his arm really hurted.

Boy sat on the floor at the old lady’s floor. Boy, don’t get to sit on the furniture. Boy jumped when there was a loud pounding on the door. Boy wanted to cry. He hoped it wasn’t his uncle coming back for him so soon.

There was a deep voice of a man he didn't know. He talked to the old lady. Boy made himself as small as he could. Boy thought he felt the floor move with each heavy step.

“ ‘Arry?” Boy, didn’t move. Maybe the giant's name is ‘Arry. Boy flinched and rushed back when he felt a huge hand come toward him.

“ ‘Arry it’s okay, no one will ever hurt ya again. Ya gotta come with me.” Was Boy ‘Arry? Boy looked up at the giant. He had long brown hair with a matching beard. Giant wore a leather jacket and black denim. The giant held out his rough hand and Boy placed his small hand in his. The giant smiled at Boy.

“Let’s go ‘Arry” The giant picked him up and took him out of the old lady’s house. “When ya get older ‘Arry we will ride around on my bike, but right now ya too lil’.” The giant sat him in the back seat and buckled him up.

They drove for a really really really long time. The giant fed him a burger and chips. Boy never had a happy meal before, but his cousin always had it. Boy cried when he couldn’t finish the meal but the giant told boy he could have another happy meal again.

Boy must have fallen asleep because he woke up when the giant carried him into a tall house. When they walked through the door felt a hand on his back. He flinched and turned to look at who touched him. That is when he saw an old man with a long white beard and hair. The man’s blue eyes sparkled. Boy, didn’t like that, so he hid his face on the giant's shoulder. Maybe he could stay with the giant. Boy closed his eyes again and fell asleep.

Chapter 1

Harry

The wind was fucking cold, and his body hurt so badly. Harry wrapped his jacket around himself. His knapsack was heavy on his back. It was an early spring day, thankfully it wasn’t raining. He wished that he still had the car. Harry couldn't stand the chance of them finding the car and then finding me. He was finally away from them.

Harry could finally find a hospital or a doctor to work for. Find a nice flat and just have a normal fucking life. First, he needed to get far away. He had enough money to get a train ticket. He just had to get to the station.

As he walked, the area became more and more sketchy. Harry knew that there was a motorcycle club near. It was their turf. The faster he could get to the station, the better. Especially if it is the club he thinks it is.

Harry’s stomach rumbled as he made his way down the street. A warm meal and a place to sit sounded wonderful. Maybe he could find something at the train station. Of course, if he didn’t have bad luck, he would have no luck at all.

As he passed an alleyway, he heard loud cursing and hissing. Then the rev of multiple motorcycles.’Don’t look down that alleyway,’ Harry thought to himself. ‘Keep walking. It is none of your business.’

“Fuck Reggie, we have to slow the bleeding so we can get him back to the club!” A panicked voice shouted.

Harry clenched his hands, he fought with himself. ‘You don’t have to always be the hero, Harry.’

“Kid, I’m trying! But if you can’t tell, I'm bleeding myself.” Another voice groaned.

Shite. Harry turned back around and entered the alleyway with his hands up. Three men and their motorcycles greeted him. The youngest of the crowd, who looked to be his age, jumped up with a knife and pointed it toward him.

“I’ve just come to help. I’m a nurse.” Harry walked forward calmly. The other, with curly black hair that was hooked behind his ears, growled. His hands were on the stomach of the unconscious biker on the pavement.

“You don’t fucking look like a nurse. I’ve never seen a nurse with two black eyes and a busted lip, or with dirty clothes.”

“I know I don’t look like much, but I have a first aid kit in my knapsack. If you let me get it, I can help get your friend and you settled. Then your other friend can go get help.”

The blond looked down at the curly hair man and nodded. “Fine! Just go slow. Kid, go back and get one of the cages.” Harry watched the blond hop on his bike and sped away.

With a groan, Harry got to his knees next to the unconscious man. He took the knapsack off his back and pulled out the first aid kit. Harry gloved up and took over.

“So a stab wound, it doesn’t look that deep, which is good. Where it is, they shouldn’t have hit anything. What I’m going to do is clean the wound and stitch it. Do you have a lighter?” The man nodded and pulled out a vintage lighter that had the same symbol on it as the cut the man wore.

“Thanks.” Harry pulled out the needle and thread that he kept in the kit since he was 14 years old.

“You are going to use a sewing needle and thread?” The man asked with his eyebrow cocked.

“Yes, it works, especially if we don’t want him to bleed out. Now when I say to move you, move your hands.” Harry said as he opened the water bottle that was in his bag.

“Move!” Harry poured the water over the wound to clear off the blood. Then used gauze to clear the rest of the blood away. “Hold on to him,” Harry warned as he opened a small bottle of alcohol and poured it over the open skin. The unconscious man was no longer unconscious.

“Reg..” The man’s voice choked out. “What the fuck happened?” Harry looked over at the man and his breath hitched. This was the hottest man he has ever seen in his life. Deep brown eyes were bloodshot.

“You got stabbed, man. Just hold still. The nurse here is helping you.” Harry snapped out of it when those brown eyes moved to him.

“Yes, don’t worry. I’ll be done soon.” Harry picked up the lighter and the needle. He positioned it under the flame until the tip was nice and red. With practiced hands, he threaded it and started with the first stitch.

“How are you feeling, Reg? Was it? Are you hit bad?” Harry noticed nothing on the man’s torso or stomach.

“No, just my leg. I can get VP to look at it when I get back. Just worry about Bast here.” Harry nodded.

“Bast, can you stay awake for me?” Bast groaned and nodded his head.

“Perfect. You know I am the best at stitching. Normally, the ones I stitch are usually cursing at me, so thanks for not doing that.” Harry tried to make small talk.

“Who did that to you? Were they the ones that you stitched up?” Bast reached up with a bloody hand and tried to touch his cheek. Harry flinched and poked him hard. “Fuck!”

“Sorry!” He took a deep breath. “Don’t worry about it. You should see how they look.” Harry joked nervously. He needed to finish up this stitch and get the fuck away from here.

Harry knotted the stitch and got out the gauze and tape. “Keep an eye on this, okay? You should probably follow up with a doctor. Don’t get it wet until then.”

“Thanks, Nurse.” Harry was about to ask if he needed help with a car screeched to a halt in front of them. That means it is time for him to go. With how tired he is, he will not make it to the train station on time for the last train. At least he could clean up and sleep at the train station.

“No problem.” Harry quickly packed up right before he stood. Bast wrapped his hand around his wrist.

“Thanks, Nurse.” Harry pulled out of the loose grip.

“Don’t mention it.” He ran towards the end of the alleyway right before he heard two unfamiliar voices.

Harry was right by the time he got to the train station. The train he wanted didn’t leave until 6 the next morning. He just had to help. He couldn’t for once think of only himself.

After he cleaned off in the washroom and found a hot coffee vending machine and crisps, he made himself comfortable in the corner of the waiting area. Harry pulled out two painkillers and popped them in his mouth. His body was killing him.

Once the crisp and coffee were gone. Harry closed his eyes. He needed a couple of hours of sleep.

Harry was woken up, what felt like moments later, by someone shaking him. When he opened his eyes, there stood the same blond that he saw earlier, but there was another man next to him with muscles bigger than Harry’s head. He had silver hair with piercing blue eyes. He didn’t even look old enough to have silver hair.

“You are coming with us, Nurse.” The older man said as he crossed his arms. Harry was fucked. He knew he couldn’t outrun them. The blond rolled his eyes and laughed.

“What he meant to say is that Prez wants to meet you. We were told to bring you back. So get your stuff and let's go.” The blond said, but the silver fox picked up his bag and threw it over his shoulder.

Harry was too tired and hurt to fight back. At least if they killed him, he wouldn’t have to run anymore.

“Fine, let's get this over with.” The blond smirked and the silver fox growled. Harry followed them out of the train station. He took one last breath before he got into the car. At least it was a beautiful night to die.
