If only he could be the knight in shining armor and save a prince in distress.
Charlie,
Sorry that I missed your family dinner. I have been overwhelmed with work. I am still proving myself in this new position. I loved the photo of Topher and Silas in their Halloween costumes. I’ve never seen a cuter dragon and mooncalf. Seeing all my nephews and nieces brings me happiness.
I know you would like me to come and stay after Christmas. A holiday sounds nice if I could ever get away from work. I must do all that I can, Charlie, to be successful, to be stable. I will not be like Mum and Dad. Yes, they loved us, but there was never any money. If I ever want a family, which of course I do. I must work hard.
I’ll write soon.
P Weasley
Charlie rested his hand on Harry’s stomach as he read his brother's letter. Harry was in between his legs and leaned back into him. His husband was looking through the baby catalog.
“Everything okay with Percy?” Harry looked up at him with worry in his eyes.
Charlie kissed his forehead. “He is Percy. Though he is acting differently. He has always been obsessed with work, but he is talking about things he would have never talked about before. Percy is a private person. Anyway, enough about my brother. Find anything good in there?”
Harry beamed up at him and flipped through the pages. “So many things! Our little Winnie is going to have the best room! I can’t believe we are going to have our own Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh!” Charlie gave in to the name Winnie. He couldn’t say no to his Little Pixie. Winnie was a cute name. So Winnie Rae Wesley will be here in a short few months.
“We will order them then and start getting the room ready. Are Anthony and Justin still coming over tonight for game night?” They started a weekly game night. It started trying to get Justin and Anthony together, but they were better friends than anything more.
“Yeah, and Neville and Sev are bringing desserts. We need to make more friends. I hate seeing the look on Justin's face when he watches all the happy couples. I don’t have to really worry about Anthony because he is actually trying to find someone. He is a true romantic at heart. Justin is the opposite. He is a workaholic.” Harry turned. It took him a minute to straddle his lap. His stomach brushed up against his.
Charlie cupped his husband’s cheeks and kissed his lips. “You Little Pixie do not need to play matchmaker. They will find someone. I found you without help, didn’t I?”
Harry laughed. “Hmm, maybe, but I still wanna help. I don’t like to see my family alone.”
“Daaaaddddddyyyyy!” Topher’s voice rang through the house. Their quiet time during their son’s nap was over. Harry groaned and laid his forehead on Charlie’s shoulder.
“I wanted to make out some more…” Charlie barked out a laugh.
“Don’t worry Little Pixie. I will snog you later, actually, if you allow me, I will do much more than that.” He winked as he helped his husband up.
“You are allowed! You are always allowed!” Harry kissed him one last time and went to go get their son. He will write to Bill later about Percy. He will find out what is going on with his brother.
Percy
Percy smiled to himself as he walked up to the office door. He smoothed down his robes before he knocked.
“Come in!” A gravelly voice boomed. A shiver ran through his body before he opened the door.
“You’re late!” The smile dropped from his face. He was early. He always made sure he was early.
“Oh... I thought…” There was a smirk on the older man's beautiful face.
“You know what to do.” Percy nodded, his heart was beating out of his chest. He pulled out his wand and warded the room.
“Good boy, come. We don't have much time before my next meeting.” Percy walked up to the older man. He had handsome, black hair that was graying at the temples.
He held back a yelp when he was pulled into the man’s lap. “You are so good, my Phoenix. So loyal to me, huh?” Percy leaned into the man’s fingers as he ran them through his hair. “You’d do anything I ask you to, wouldn’t you? Such a good boy. That is why I was shocked when I saw you talking with Howard earlier.” A firm hand wrapped around his neck and squeezed. Percy gasped. He did nothing. He was just talking to Howard about a project he was working on.
“I... I had to talk to him about a project.” Percy pleaded. “It… it wasn’t anything else… I promise!” The hand slowly released his neck.
“You are mine, Percy. You belong to me. Don’t think that just because I’m stuck in my marriage doesn’t mean you can just be with anyone. You love me, don't you, my Phoenix?” Percy nodded. He loved him.
“I love you, Albert, always. I’m sorry I should have told you.” Albert cupped his cheeks and kissed him. Percy melted in his touch.
“Good boy, now get on your knees and get me ready for you. We have to be quick.”
Percy fell to his knees.
Anthony
Anthony sat with a quill in hand. Mounds of parchment covered the small desk in the office of his bookstore. When his grandmother died and left him at this bookstore, he jumped at the opportunity.
The bookstore was profitable, but everything was unorganized. His grandmother, the Hufflepuff she was. Cared more about the relationships she had with her patrons and taking care of them than she did herself. As long as her business was open for them to come, that is all she cared about.
If only he had helped to get everything organized. It was too much for just one person. Anthony loved the teaching and learning of owning a bookstore. The business side wasn’t as fun. He was like his grandmother in that way.
Anthony looked at the clock and noticed it was time for game night. He was thankful for that. Harry, Charlie, Neville, and Snape were two perfect couples in Anthony’s eyes. He has tried to. find that. A true romantic at heart. He wants what he reads in his love stories. If only he could be the knight in shining armor and save a prince in distress. He laughed as he packed away his things. He doubted that would ever happen. At least he found a good friend in Justin.
