Chapter 1
pandalily:
“Okay and… open!” when Lily opened her eyes, the first thing she noticed was Pandora, in all her beauty, smiling broadly. The second thing she noticed was the scenery. There were so much flowers it looked like they were in a sea of them. Further in the background there were pretty trees she’d never seen near Hogwarts before.
“Pandora Selene Ollivander, did you apparate us out of Hogwarts, just to bring me on a good Valentines date?”
“Lils!” Pandora looked at her “You can’t apparate out- or into- Hogwarts! Come on, you ought to have known better than that. And you would’ve felt it anyway.”
“Hm.” Lily looked at her with a puzzled face. “In my entire five years at Hogwarts, I’ve never seen this place before, so I’m just a bit confused.” She threw her hands up.
“Well, I think you need some amethyst to calm you down from all that worrying.”
Pandora replied with a sly smile.
“You didn’t buy me a present too, did you?” “Of course I did!” Pandora looked mock-offended and pressed a brief kiss to Lily’s lips. Her cheeks reddened, but not yet matching the colour of her hair.
“And that stressing about prefect stuff.” Pandora added. “Although I get the Gryffindors might be giving you a hard time, with all their cheery and energy bombed characters.”
Lily snorted. “Potter and Black are really the worst, Pettigrew’s kind of annoying, but compared to Mary, he’s not even that hyper. And all of those nightly trips she makes…” Pandora laughed. It was Lily’s favourite sound, like music to her ears.
“Well, onto things that don’t make you stressed… Let’s sit down and I’ll give you the presents.” They walked hand-in-hand, to where Pandora had put down a picnic blanket. It was a smartly picked out spot, next to a cherry tree providing them shadow, as it had been a surprisingly hot February.
“So this is amethyst, I thought you really needed it, and this is rose quartz, which I thought was really fitting for Valentine’s day because love and all that. It provides romantic love, but also self-love and confidence. Feminine energy as well, oh and I was on a roll so I decided to take aragonite too, the structure is just so interesting…”
Lily had already stopped listening a while ago, not that she didn’t like her presents- in fact, she loved them- but what she liked most of all, was to see Pandora talking about them. The excitement on her face and how broad it made her smile made Lily’s heart swell in her chest. Abruptly, she shot forward and gave Pandora a unexpected kiss. Pandora, surprised but not unhappy, leaned in and made it more passionate. She crawled almost into Lily’s lap and pushed her to the ground, careful not to hurt her. The ginger turned her body and laughing and kissing they both rolled through the field of flowers, staining their dresses a bit with green, but neither of them cared. This moment was so precious, every-time they thought back to it it seemed their heart was made of gold and shimmering inside of their chests.
When they had rolled down almost the entire hill- surprisingly, still no wounds or injuries- they climbed back to the tree and shared a romantic picnic, which was also very messy, them trying to feed each other slices of strawberry cake Lily had baked. Pandora also received gifts, lots of scented candles and a self-crocheted cardigan – Lily was a master at crocheting.
The evening had set and they both had to, unfortunately, go back to the castle, but they returned with a fuller stomach and a fuller heart.

linny:
“You can take the blindfold off!” Luna whispered softly but audibly excited. Ginny took the blindfold – a ravenclaw tie – off and couldn’t believe her eyes. They were in what appeared to be a forest, but a bit of an open place in it, and it was filled with flowers. Ginny hugged Luna.
“This is a gorgeous place for a date, thank you!”
“You didn’t even see all of it.” Luna giggled and stepped forward so Ginny could see the picnic stuff stalled out. There were also boxes, wrapped up extravagantly like Luna always did.
“Happy Valentine’s day love.” She smiled and looked so adorable it made Ginny want to kiss her. And so she did. Distracted because of the kiss, they fell and continued to roll off the hill.
“Oh no.” Ginny yelled, but wasn’t actually scared. When they got to the bottom, the grass had left green marks on their clothing.
“I’ve got a stain on my favourite overall.” Luna said sadly.
“Don’t worry, it’ll come off just by washing.” Ginny pressed her nose against Luna’s. “And you smell nice. Like lavender.”
They shared another sweet kiss and climbed up the hill, not forgetting the food.
Ginny ate caramelized apples while Luna told her all about the crystals she’d bought her.
“And green aventurine is for luck, abundance-“
“I heard it also brings in money. Is that true?”
“Yes, but you’d need to set that as your intention, so don’t just expect for five galleons to fall out of the air because you touched it once.”
Ginny nodded attentively and stuffed a s’more in Luna’s mouth.
“I wanted to make some muggle snacks for you, I thought you’d like to try some once.” She said as Luna chewed.
“I love it. But I love you more. Than all.” She replied and hugged Ginny again, after pressing a kiss to her temple.
“You were right, rolling through the flowers did make us smell nice.” She observed. Ginny laughed at that. “Wanna roll in them again?”
“No but… I’d like to dance.”
They danced, slow and romantic, fun and energetic, chaotic and tripping a lot. They kept dancing until the sun set, which they watched from the picnic spot under the cherry tree, while eating the rest of the food.
Luna fell asleep in Ginny’s lap, so she braided her hair while admiring her beauty. Her lashes glimmered when the sun shone on them. She let her sleep, as they had weekend now anyway.
The redhead kissed Luna on the top of her head and breathed out. “I love you too.”
