Summary
James Potter hates Regulus Black that’s the simple way to put it. Blinded by anger at seeing his best friend turn up at his doorstep after fleeing from his abusive family, he hates everyone who lives in that house-Regulus included. So why does he care when he stumbles upon the boy getting attacked by a group of boys and why does he have this overwhelming urge to protect him? He quickly comes to realize that he doesn’t hate Regulus Black, if anything it was the complete opposite. James was unconditionally in love with him.Or James has mixed feelings about Regulus but after saving the boy after he’s jumped and inviting him to with him awhile those feelings change.

I’m literally filling this out at like midnight, I should be sleeping. Anyways! This is just something that came to me a few nights ago that I haven’t been able to get out of my head. So have a very confused James Potter and a hurting Regulus Black who is also confused as to why the boy who’s expresses nothing but hate about him cares about his well being. Honestly they both just need a huge hug.
