Harry carefully cupped the other boy's cheek. His thumb traced a tear down the track it had made. "You're so much more than your past Baby."
Draco turned his head, pulling it from Harry's grasp. "I can't escape who I am, Harry! My father killed their child!"
"Your father. Not you."
"I'm still the one they hold responsible! It was by my choice that I didn't stop him! Let me go back so they can kill me."
Harry turned his boyfriend's face back toward him. "You weren't making the decisions. You didn't do it. And I see you as so much more than your father's son. I love you."
Draco looked at the emerald eyes before him, squishing the hope that tried to form. "Am I really?"
