Harry had always thought of Neville as just a friend, but friends don’t hold hands at the breakfast table, or feed each other food. And friends definitely didn’t go to the Yule Ball together and dance chest-to-chest. And friends definitely didn’t kiss each other like that. And Merlin what a kiss it was. Harry felt like he was floating and the air was filled with flowers. Then when he opened his eyes he realised he and Neville really were floating and the air really was filled with flowers.
