Alyss didn’t know how she thought they’d ever work together. Will was just too different to her. They didn’t have anything in common anymore. They were just relying on their past as a crutch and it really showed. Besides, she was in love with Evanlyn and it was obvious Will was besotted with Horace. It was just a matter of time before Will realised it.
She tried to rekindle her relationship with Will, but nothing ever came of it. She knew she would have to break it off eventually, but it was always hard, no matter how much you didn’t really love each other.
