Not All Heroes Wear Capes
Ben opens the Father’s Day card Peter gave him. The young boy standing next to him moving his hands nervously around. Inside the card there is a scrap bit of paper.
"What’s this Peter?" He questions as he picks it up, putting the card down he prepares to open the folded paper.
"It's a poem I have written for you. Just, know I mean it all."
Opening the paper, Ben clears his throat before starting to read aloud so May could hear too.
"He does fight crime
but doesn't wear a cape
He doesn't read minds
Or levitate
But every time my world needs saving
He's my Superman
Some folks don't believe in heroes
'Cause they haven't met my Uncle Ben
He built me a house in the arms of a tree
He taught me to play and to fight and to dream
When he looks in my eyes I hope he can see that
My Uncle is a hero to me"
Grabbing hold of Peter he pulls him into a hug. "I love you Peter, so much."
