Confident
As Max was finishing his dance, he noticed the boy in the crowd again. He was staring straight at him, winking at him he dropped down the pole. Before doing his finishing pose. Walking of the stage he saw the boy still following him, waving he walked behind the curtain.
When the dancer had disappeared yet again, James walks to the bar. Ordering a vodka straight, he takes a deep breath. “c’mon James, you need some confidence.” He says before downing the shot and ordering another. Turning around he glances around the room.
“Oh shit.”
James says as the dancer sashays towards him. “What was that pretty.” Max says grabbing his tie and pulling James closer.
“Nothing. Want a d-d-drink?” he stutters in reply.
“Fine, as long as I can repay you in one of the rooms.”
“I. What. No. I can’t. and how can you be so so this.
“This? I am not that scary am I? What’s wrong with being confident darlin?”
James downs his shot before saying in a rush. “Nothing nothing, I just can’t handle you in heels, short shorts and with that much confidence at once whilst you look and act like a boss bitch.”
“Let’s go back, I’ll show you confidence.” Max replies, pulling the boy by his tie after him.
