Sirius Black

James was pacing back and forth, his breathing becoming faster and shallower by the second. Sirius, who was sitting nearby, immediately noticed the telltale signs of a panic attack and got up to approach his friend.

"Hey, Prongs," Sirius said calmly. "You're okay. Everything's going to be okay."

But James wasn't listening. He was lost in his own thoughts, unable to break free from the grip of anxiety.

Sirius stepped closer and put a hand on James's shoulder. "James, look at me," he said firmly. "Take a deep breath and look at me."

James hesitated for a moment, but eventually, he managed to lock eyes with Sirius. The two friends stood there, staring at each other until James's breathing started to slow down.

"That's it," Sirius said softly. "Just keep breathing. You're doing great."

James nodded, still unable to speak. Sirius could see the fear in his friend's eyes, and it broke his heart.

"You know what always helps me when I'm feeling anxious?" Sirius said, trying to distract James. "Remember that time we pranked Snape, and he ended up covered in pink feathers? That was hilarious."

James managed a weak smile, and Sirius knew he was making progress.

"See, you're already feeling better," Sirius said, grinning. "Just remember that I'm here for you, always. We'll get through this together."

With Sirius's words of reassurance and support, James slowly but surely started to calm down. The panic attack had passed, and the two friends were left with a newfound sense of closeness and trust.

James took a deep breath and leaned against the wall, feeling exhausted but also grateful for Sirius's presence. He knew that he could always count on Sirius to be there for him, no matter what.

"Thanks, Sirius," James said, his voice still a bit shaky. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

Sirius just shrugged. "Hey, that's what friends are for, right?"

James nodded, a sense of warmth spreading through his chest. He knew that he was lucky to have friends like Sirius, who always knew how to make him feel better.

"Listen, why don't we get out of here?" Sirius said, gesturing towards the door. "We could go grab a butterbeer or something. Take your mind off things."

James smiled, feeling a flicker of excitement. It had been a while since he had just hung out with Sirius, without any pressure or expectations.

"Sure," he said. "That sounds great."

The two friends left the room, their shoulders brushing against each other. James felt a renewed sense of energy and optimism, knowing that he had someone like Sirius by his side.

As they walked down the hallway, James thought about all the memories they had shared together over the years - the pranks, the laughs, the late-night conversations. He knew that no matter what the future held, he and Sirius would always be Marauders at heart.
