Regulus was sitting across the table gazing at a dopey looking smile from the man’s face. They were at a restaurant that was definitely way too expensive for his liking, but James insisted on going. They were quite literally the only people in the area of the restaurant they were sitting in, which was a dining room. James claimed he rented the entire room out so they could be alone without “Nosy People” as James put it, but Regulus didn’t know if he was joking or not. James did have a massive ego to make him think to even rent it out in the first place.

“You look beautiful,” James smiled.

Regulus rolled his eyes, and sat back into the chair. “Really?” Regulus said teasing.

“Oh, yeah! Definitely! You look ravishing, absolutely stunning! I mean I wish I could bring you to the movie theater, but they don’t let snacks in!” James whispered with a giddy smile.

If it was any other person Regulus would’ve gotten up and walked away due to these stupid compliments, but he didn’t became it was James Potter. Therefore, instead he rolled his eyes and ducked his head to hide a faint blush on his cheeks.

“Tell me about yourself,” James asked nonchalantly.

“Huh?”

“Tell me about yourself,” He asked once more.

“You can’t be serious!” Regulus said.

“You’re right, I’m not. That’s your brother!” James said with the most straight face, trying so hard to hide his laughter.

“Alright, that’s it I’m leaving!”

“No, no, no, no!” James yelled grabbing Regulus’s hand. “Sit down please.” He whispered with a frown.

They started at each other for a moment, and Regulus looked at how beautiful James’s eyes were in this lighting. He looked like a deer in headlights, but more specifically a cute baby deer. He looked like he needed to be cuddled and taken care of, which Regulus would’ve obliged to immediately. He wished someone could put him in a trance so he could stare into his eyes forever. “What do you want to know? You already know a bunch of things about me.”

“What! No, I literally don’t! Maybe I know like the basic surface level things but other than that I literally have no idea who you are.”

“Yeah, there’s a reason for that. I need to keep up my mysterious persona.”

“Woah, my fault! I’m so sorry please forgive me for interfering with your life mission to make my life as difficult as it can be!” James teased, lifting his hands up defensively. For the first time in a while, Regulus couldn’t stop smiling.

“Well, fine. I’ll tell you this. I was born in France, and I moved here about a year ago. I don’t like avocados, apples, loud people, slow walkers, and the color yellow. There, that’s all you get.” Regulus sat back proudly with a grin.

James whined and slammed his head on the table. “That’s nothing! Tell me something interesting! I’m dying!”

“Yeah, like what?”

“Like,” James thought for a moment, “Why did you agree to go out with me tonight?” James asked.

Regulus shrugged, “I guess, I was just convinced.”

“Convinced?”

“I don’t know.” He trailed off. “I guess a change of heart?” Regulus said, but phrased it more as a question.

“Oh, really? So what I’m hearing is you like me!”

“What! No, absolutely not!” Regulus looked around panicking. “I was basically forced to come here by my friends in order to get them to talk to me again!”

“I think you’re lying. You really do like me, don’t you! Why else would you agree to go out with me again! Like on another date with me.” James said while smirking.

“First of all, this isn’t a date, and neither was the last time. This is…” He said trailing off, but too flustered to come up with a response, and at a loss for words, so he continues. “I definitely do not like you. I think you’re a conniving, cocky person. I think you believe you are better than everyone just because you have a stupidly pretty smile, and stupidly pretty hair and a stupidity pretty face. But, you’re not fooling me!”

“You think I’m pretty?” James said, leaning in a little more across the very small table. Regulus could feel James’ breath on his face now.

“I didn’t mean it like that, and you know it.” Regulus breathed out averting his eyes anywhere but to meet his.

“Oh, but I think you did, Reggie.” James whispered low.

“Fuck you,” Regulus spat.

“Yes, please.” James breathed fluttering his eyelids closed.

Regulus got up with a swift push movement making the glass and silverware clang against the table.

God, I knew I should’ve never agreed to this. This is the last time I listen to my friends. I hate them, I hate him, I hate this! Regulus thought while storming off to the bathroom.

He walked in the bathroom and locked the door behind him. He took a few deep breaths and splashed some water on his face. He honestly couldn’t with this whole night. He genuinely wasn’t cut out for this kinda thing, just going around and being so open about his feelings.

Regulus walked around the tiny one stall bathroom, pacing, trying to hype himself up to go finish this touturess meal, then go home and never speak to him again. After a few minutes of looking at himself in the mirror and pacing around the blue tiled floor, he built up enough courage to open the bathroom door to only reveal the person he least wanted to be standing there.

James was standing there looking apologetic but also slightly smug. He looked like he wanted to say something, but the words couldn’t come out. In the hallway to the bathroom, the fluorescent lights were reflecting off of James’s brown skin making him look absolutely Godly. His brown curls looked too perfect and flowed just right. In this light you could clearly see the little freckles that James has spread across his sharpened jawline and cheeks. But, most of all you could see the twinkle is his eyes that couldn’t be resisted. Eyes tell so much about a person, like their thoughts, feelings, desires, and the words left unsaid. In that moment, James’s eyes seemed to be telling Regulus something, or maybe Regulus was just obsessed and delusional. Who knows? But either way, Regulus could’ve devoured him right then and there. And, he did just that.

“Fuck it,” Regulus whispered pulling James towards him and kissing him hard. He pulled him into the bathroom and slammed it shut behind them with a kick of his foot. He pushed James against the bathroom door panting in excitement.

He could not believe that this was happening and he could not believe he was the one who initiated the kiss. I mean, if we’re being completely honest Barty, Evan, and Pandora would’ve bet real money that James would’ve kissed him first. He couldn’t wait to prove those fuckers wrong.

It took a few seconds for James to get caught up with what was happening, but within no time he had Regulus lifted up onto the bathroom sink, grabbing his thighs and pushing him against the mirror. Regulus wrapped his legs around James’s waist and slid in close so that their chests were touching. Regulus wrapped his hands around his curls and pulled so hard James’s hips bucked forward making Regulus moan. Their hips started moving together in unison and Regulus couldn’t handle it, it felt so amazing. He ran his fingernails up and down James’s back under his shirt and dug them in hard as James suddenly pushed Regulus harder up against the mirror on the wall.

“Fuck!” James yelled tilting his head back and bucking his hips against Regulus in response to the nails in his back. It felt like Regulus was being practically pushed through the wall, and it felt so good. Regulus thought that James swearing was the hottest thing he’s ever heard. He could’ve came right then and there, but he gathered ahold of himself.

James grabbed Regulus’s wrists and pinned them on the wall. He began kissing and sucking up and down Regulus’s neck.

“Oh, fuck. Please, please.” Regulus moaned. “James, please!”

“Please what? Use your words, Love.” James whispered in between kissed.

“I want you so badly. Please, give me more.” Regulus whimpered. Regulus’s hands were still pinned up against the wall, which he didn’t mind at all. Even if he wanted to get out of that position he couldn’t. James was just too strong he couldn’t even try to weasel his way out of it.

“How badly do you want me huh, baby?” James said panting.

Regulus threw his head back further, giving James even more access to attack his neck. He continued to rock his hips forward into James. His whole body just practically gave itself to James, absolutely melting in this touch. While his brain usually does a good job of denying and hiding how badly he has wanted James all of this time, his body definitely couldn’t hide it as well.

Just as James was about to take Regulus’ shirt off there was a loud knock on the door. Both of them froze. Regulus didn’t know what to do other than yell that he’ll be out in just a minute. But, as he did he sounded completely gone, voice cracking and out of breath. James ducked his head into Regulus’s neck and laughed. His curls brushed Regulus’s jaw and tickled him, he smiled.

James backed away from Regulus slowly, but making sure not to break eye contact. “So, um.”

“Yeah, um… yeah! I’m just going to…” Regulus hopped off the sink counter, clearing his throat. He wiped down his clothes trying to do anything possible with his hands due to nervousness.

“Yup, yup, cool, cool, cool.” James looked around and grinned.

“Mhm, yeah.”

“So ummm…”

“Yeah, umm, I’ll just see you at the table…”

“Yeah, okay. Cool, awesome.” James said turning on his heels to open the bathroom door and leave.

Regulus put his hands over his face and silently screamed. What the fuck just happened? Meanwhile on the other side of the door, James put his hands over his eyes, smiled the widest smile ever, and silently mouthed. Oh. my. God.
