Intro To The Dark Arts
Welcome to 'A True Guide To The Dark Arts & More' this a book will go over many elements of the Dark Arts not only how to use it for your survival but also knowledge of its origins, common misconceptions, and even spells you wouldn't think are actually the dark arts.
This book will have the darkest of the dark arts and is not for the faint of heart. Something to note is that while the Dark Arts is the primary focus of this book I will be also going into other elements of magic that I believe should be part of the dark arts, magic that have the potential to be dangerous if in the wrong hands, or ways to defend yourself against the dark arts.
The dark arts should only be used as a last resort for survival or knowledge that will actually be used. When I say 'knowledge that will be used' I am not talking for the sake of power, I am talking for the sake of teaching others to survive and/or practicing elements of it to better your chance of survival for it is a waste for you to learn knowledge without using it.
This book will also serve as a warning for what spells to avoid or what limitations the Dark Arts has so you do not break them, and drive yourself into insanity or worse...
My final warnings before you continue reading on is learning the dark arts for the sake of power is deadly and dangerous for everyone and yourself and I do not recommend you to read on.
For the rest of you, and for the fools who have not listened to my warnings, the best thing to do before we getting into a specifics is to explain what the Dark Arts actually are. The Dark Arts is any magic that has the intention to seriously hurt, kill, manipulate someone's mind, or soul in any way, shape, or form. An interesting thing about that definition is that there are spells that even though they technically don't hurt or harm someone, fall under the category of Dark Arts because of the way it manipulates there mind.
A good example of this the Muggle-Repelling Charm as it manipulates the minds of muggles and to avoiding or not noticing unnatural behaviors/magical occurrence. With this spell brings up another interesting point, wizard society does not correct label Dark Magic. The main reason they do this is to change people's perspective of the dark arts to only be something that is evil when that is inherently not true, or in simpler terms it is simply labeled incorrectly for the sake of propaganda. With the Dark Arts being incorrectly labeled within the law there are lots of spells that are not labeled as dark art magic but are.
To make it easier on the reader I will specifically be going over all actual dark magic, and will specifically say if magic is not part of the Dark Arts with the definition I have given. the best way to check this is by looking at the notes below as I will say whether or not it is illegal and whether or not it is actually the Dark Arts.
Other information that is important to this book is that throughout this book I will also have notes on my personal experiencing every now and again and should always be taken with a grain of salt. Since I am describing some of my personal experiences throughout this book I have decided not to reveal my blood status, name, gender, or age. That way no one's biases of my person can influence anyone reading this book with only my experience being the exception.
