"What do you mean that I have to move back with James? Isn't it my decision where will I live ?" Lily argued with Fleamont but she still kept being respectful.
"It's for everyone's safety and Harry's especially" Lily looked at him confused. "And who he fuck is Harry?"
"Oh- I- well your baby is Harry- isn't it how you were gonna name him ?" Fleamont asked already knowing that he kind of fucked up the plan by saying this.
"Yes but I've never told anyone not even James- I'm so confused right now" She sighed and sat on the sofa behind her looking out of the window.
"I can explain everything to you but not now, not here" She just nodded confusingly.
"And there's other thing I should tell you before we will go back to James's house- it's kinda shocking but I need you to help me with that one, help us "
"Us who?" She asked and James's dad looked at the floor at first but then he kept eye contact with her the whole time.
"Regulus is alive and he is helping us, he's on our side" Lily looked at him with disbelief in her eyes.
"Oh my god is he - how ?"
"You can ask him the details later he's now at James's, he doesn't know yet too but we have to tell everyone now, everyone trust worthy so do not share this information with anyone not even Mary or anyone else okay?" Lily just nodded.
"James was so destroyed by Regulus's death, he's gonna - he'll probably pass out oh god" She said jokingly from the excitement.
"And Sirius doesn't know yet too- we weren't sure if we should tell him too, now the two of you are the most important to know, it's difficult time and we don't know who we should trust and who is the spy. I don't like the idea but it could be one of them, Sirius or Remus"
"Oh right I- I understand but Sirius and Remus are the last people I'd guess to be on the other side"
"I know I think so too but now we have to keep this in a small circle of people which is James, you, me and Regulus"

"Veg ! I got you food" James went into his room looking for the ca but he wasn't there instead Regulus was standing in the door in his normal self.
James was turn by his back on him and Regulus was so fucking scared, he was jus reconsidering the whole thing. Maybe he should just turn himself into a cat and leave it for another time. But James's dad was already on his way with Lily probably. He had to do this.
"James?" He whispered very quietly almost he himself couldn't hear it but James turned to him and he had annoyed look on his face.
"No not doing that again go away!" Regulus didn't understand at first was James that mad at him ? Why was he mad? Was he mad that Regulus faked his death or-
"Why do I keep seeing you ? Just why ? I can't do this anymore Regulus get out of my head- I need to wake up - I need to wake up this is - I thought this was real for a second- Get out of my fucking head!" James started crying and yelling and Regulus just stood there not knowing what to say. He now understood what was this about.
"James-"
"No please go away- " James kept standing in the middle of the room until his knees went down and he was just crying on his knees with his face hidden in his palms.
Regulus wasn't sure by anything he was doing right now but he came closer to James.
"I'm here James- I'm alive -I'm real okay?" He knelt beside James.
"No you're not I'm just hallucinating " James laughed dryly and wiped away is tears.
"No you're not James- I can explain everything but I need you to trust me that it's real I'm alive - I can explain everything to you -can I - Can I touch you?" Regulus asked just like James used to ask him back at school.
James just kept looking at him , this never happened in the dreams , it was weird.
And then James just nodded. He wanted to be touched, he wanted to be touched by Regulus and he didn't care it was just a dream he needed to touch him.
Regulus rested his hand on James's shoulder and he looked at him with surprise.
"Shit that- that feels too real, you're messing with my head too much today-"
"Hey no no no you have to understand- I am not dead- I didn't die James, I don't know how did I managed to survive but I did and I woke up in a cave and then I went to your house but then just your father was there and he helped me a lot - he helped me became animagus and now I'm here and your dad- your dad is on the way here with Lily, we will explain everything okay?"
James was just there, he wasn't sure what was real and what wasn't but he could tell that the hand on his shoulder was real, it was real, it was the realest thing he felt in moths-
"I-I don't -you're really here " He still couldn't believe it, how could he.
Regulus turned himself into a cat again and James kept staring at him.
"That was you- I felt it was familiar, you were Veg- Veg was you I - Oh god I'm gonna be so mad if I wake up right now" James let few more tears fall down and Regulus was back Regulus in a second.
"can - Can I hug you ?" James asked and Regulus smiled relieved and nodded and James hugged him. It was the warmest hug he ever had and he felt home again.
He could feel Regulus's breathing into his neck and it was the best thing ever. Just Regulus. His breath. His hearth beat. He was okay, he was so alive-
"I thought you were dead- I went to your grave I-"
"I know I was there- I was with you the whole time"
"Shit I'm sorry- I hurt your arm-" James said when he remembered the cat and Regulus just laughed.
"You took care of it just fine" Regulus said smiling and he showed him his palm there was just a little scar.
"You named me Veg, like the star " Regulus said still smiling from ear to ear.
"Yeah he- I guess he always reminded me of you a bit" James cried with happy tears now.
"Are you sure that I'm not dreaming ?" James asked desperately hoping he's not and Reg shook his head with laugher.
"No James you're awake I promise"
"how's my dad ?- I haven't talk to him in a while" James asked and Regulus sat next to him.
"He's well- he's alright, he'll arrive in a few minutes- he'll explain everything " James smiled and nodded and then they just sat there in silence.
"Can I hold your hand?- not like you know just - I wanna feel you like you - real person you" James murmured and Regulus nodded and gave him his hand slowly and James just hold it and stroked Regulus's hand with his thumb.
"I missed you so much Reg"
"I missed you too…"
"Promise you won't leave now- I can't- I won't let you leave me "
"I won't leave James, I promise"
"You better not if you don't want me to fall apart again" James joked but Regulus knew he meant it , but he truly had no intensions in leaving.

"We're here ! Regulus ? James?"
"We're here!" James shouted from the kitchen and everyone went there.
"Oh my god you're really - uh well alive" Lily laughed relieved and runed to hug Regulus immediately.
"He doesn't like to be t-"James interrupted but Regulus shook his head before he could finish.
"It's fine James" Regulus smiled and buried his head into Lily's hair, she smelled really good way better than James who haven't showered for a few days probably but Regulus didn't complain about it.
"I'm glad you're okay" she breathed and Regulus smiled.
"Me too" They all laughed.
"Dad.." James came closer and hugged his father who hugged him back warmly.
They all agreed not to tell anyone about Regulus being alive and nor Lily's pregnancy. And that included Sirius, Remus and Peter. They all agreed that it would be the safest option for now, they trusted Sirius, Remus and Peter with their hearth but now they decided to not tell them, it was kinda cruel but it was necessary.
They all stayed at that house Lily, James, Fleamont and Regulus, it was safer that way.
