"James ? Can you get out of the room for a second? We seriously need to talk" Lily was standing beside the door and James was just silently looking at the celling with the cat lying on his chest.
"Come in" James said instead of coming out of his bed and Lily walked in.
"I need to tell you something" She said with a little grin on her face.
"What is it ? Who died this time?" James asked reluctantly like even the movement he did with his mouth was a difficulty.
"No it's- it's not a bad thing actually - it's good" she whispered and smiled, James looked at her and looked surprised. What could be so good when everything is messed up? Is Reggie alive? He thought to himself, he was thinking about that quite a lot.
He never saw Regulus's dead body.
Maybe it was a trap so Regulus can maybe spy on them or something.
He didn't know if Regulus being alive would be a good thing though. He died like a good person in James's hearth. And that was good.
"I'm Pregnant" Lily said instead and James seemed like he just woke up from the deaths.
"I- how- what are we gonna do Lily?" She looked at him with disappointed face.
"You don't like it do you ?" She asked with a desperate smile and kinda looked like she was about to cry but she didn't.
"No of course not - I mean it's fucking war Lily , you- you can't have a child-"
"We" She added disappointed and looked at James once again.
"yeah I know I just- you can't just throw this information at me and expect me to react like the world isn't fucked up already "
"Okay- well I'm - I'll live with Mary for now" Lily said and left the room, Regulus was now sitting at the corner trying not to interrupt.
"Lily no - I didn't mean it to offend you or anything , I'm sorry I'm a dick but you have to look at it from my position too" He was now running after her but she was gone already and so was Regulus.
"Oh my god even the cat run away"

"Regulus what did I tell you about visiting James that much ?" Monty said when he saw the cat in the door, Regulus transformed back to his person self.
"Lily is pregnant" he said.
"The prophesy -" Fleamont knew all about it because Regulus told him everything the night he arrived here.
"Yeah, we have to tell them and keep them safe right ?"
"No" Fleamont said.
"What do you mean no ??" Regulus was furiously worried, he needed to keep them safe. He knew he had to, it was his life now.
"I said no- we won't scare them even more than they are now, we will look after them from a far"
"Yeah but Evans just moved out"
"What ? Where ?"
"To Mary, her and James had a little argument about her being pregnant, he was being kind of a prick about it but James will make it right, he always does"
"You should stay behind Regulus- It's not safe"
"It's not safe for anyone, I'm in I could be dead but I'm not I won't waste my life sitting at corner anymore"
"No Regulus you won't !" Fleamont screamed out of the anger and worry. Regulus was silent now not knowing what to say or do.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell - I - I can't lose you too kid" Regulus looked at him still not knowing what to do, so he just came closer and hugged him gently.
It was so weird and different to be held by an adult. It was not the same as with James or Sirius. He could feel it, he could feel the desperate need of that hug.
"We'll figure it out together without anyone risking life stupidly like that " He said and Regulus just nodded. He couldn't disagree now.
