Regulus you silly person
"James !" Sirius shouted across the field when his best friend was falling down. His broom got lost in the air and Sirius tried to catch him before he fall on the ground but he did not get there in time because James was already there.
"Fuck- help me someone !" He yelled and Regulus was already on his way and so was Pandora.
"Fuck-fuck -fuck" Regulus was saying to himself and he was unable to think of anything that would help and nor did Sirius.-
"Oh my god you two are completely useless just lift him up we have to take him to the hospital wing." Pandora said and some of the teachers were already heading to them and helped Pandora get James to the Hospital wing.
"Okay, here we are- he'll be fine right ? Right Reggie ?" Sirius freaked out but so was Regulus.
But since Sirius was the dramatic one here, Regulus's reaction was not consider as over dramatic.
"I don't fucking know Sirius- "
"Well who the fuck knows ?" Sirius was getting more and more stressed by the entire situation.
"We'll examine him Mr. Black just wait a second alright ?" Pomfrey said calmly.
"Shit- Peter and Remus - I have to tell them - I- Reggie will you wait here if something was wrong- just yell the loudest you can I'll hear you." Regulus just nodded not actually knowing what he's nodding to and Sirius ran out of the hospital wing.

"Moony! Pete !" Sirius shouted when he entered the room.
"Oh my god Pads! My head is like on a rollercoaster " Remus reminded him, the full moon was yesterday , it was a bad one.
"I- sorry I- It's James " Sirius breathed out once more.
"What ? What happened?" Peter asked immediately and Remus got up too.
"He got hurt - his head - he fell of the broom during the game " Sirius said with a eyes full of tears.
Peter immediately got out of the bed and ran to the hospital wing not even waiting for Sirius and Remus.
"Fuck-I" Remus tried to walk as fast as he could but his leg was very against him today.
"Hey It's okay- just don't get yourself hurt even more- Pete is there already and Regulus with Dora are with him " Sirius said when he saw how Remus struggled. He walked pretty fast despite his unbearable pain in the leg. Not fast enough though.
"I can - carry you if you don't mind " Remus would normally hated that idea, but now he just really wanted to see James.
"Okay fine - on your back though" He wouldn't want it to be as humiliating as it would be if Sirius carried him in his arms like some baby .

"How is he ??" Remus asked the minute they got there.
"He'll be fine " Peter said immediately and Remus's hearth felt like thousand pounds lighter.
"Okay, that's great right? When will he wake up ?" Sirius asked.
"Tomorrow probably" Reg sitting next to James holding his hand said quietly.
Not one of them left the hospital wing since then .
Madam Pomfrey offered Remus to lay down for another day because he hurt his leg on the way here.
He agreed right way since he had no plan in leaving James.
Sirius went to lay down with Moony in his bed and they both fall asleep eventually, same as Peter, he fall asleep next to James holding his hand.
Pandora left and Regulus stayed sitting next to James, fully awake just observing him. He wanted to make sure he was alright since everyone were asleep here.
"Can we see him ?" there was a women's voice behind the door. James's parents were here.
They both stepped into the hospital wing with a worry in his eyes.
"How is he ?" He asked immediately .
"He had a head injury, now he's unconscious but he should be fine by tomorrow, don't worry It was not that bad I don’t think he will have any problems afterwards." Madam Pomfrey told them quietly, she tried not to wake anyone up.
"Okay we'll come tomorrow to talk to him if that's okay" Effie said and Pomfrey nodded.
"James!" Effie came closer to him and hold his hand and Fleamont joined him at the other side stroking his hair
"Oh hello I can leave now I don't want to interrupt I will come back later." Regulus said gently.
"No - no no no no regulus come here" Effie insisted when she saw him leaving already.
"we want to talk to you actually" regulus felt like he did something. It was that kind of guilt that wasn't the same as he felt with his parents. It wasn't the kind of guilt that he did something and now he's afraid of being punished for it. It was more like the feeling of embarrassment .
"okay" he came closer and sat back at the chair next to James's bed .
"So James messaged us a while ago actually. He said that he asked you to come for Christmas holiday to our house"
"yes he did but I - I refused - I obviously understand that you don’t want me there anymore and I it's okay I'll be okay -" he was silent after that
"We know - James told us - and we wanted to say that there's no need to worry about any of that Regulus- we won't turn our back on you because what they made you became, you're good person regulus and we know that- so there is really no problem in staying with us during Christmas , we got all the charms around the house and everything will be fine," Effie said so livingly and effortlessly
"I- can't accept that but thank you for not- not hating me I guess - James is lucky to have you really "
"you have us too regulus , we aren't inviting you just because you're Sirius's brother or James's boyfriend but because you're your own person and we care about you as much as we do care about the boys." Fleamont say
"Oh no - I - We - James is - James is dating Lily- we are not - together"
"Oh - he never mentioned, sorry then but still- we would actually preferred if you stayed with us "
"I'm sorry - I really can't accept it - I can handle my mother and my father too it's just a few weeks "
"okay it's your choice to make but you don’t have to handle any of it you could just go with us you know it wouldn't be an issue "
"I have to be present at some of the meetings - Voldemort's so I can't go with you " Regulus whispered , he somehow felt like he can tell them , like he can be honest, he doesn’t feel that way with anyone not even James.
"Well you could still go to the meetings- if it is that important but I suppose it is with the dark lord - it probably wouldn’t slide but leaving that house can be your choice."
"I'll think about it truly" Regulus says. And he meant it. Them talking was much more convincing that James was .
They were adults and they should know what is safe and what is not is not like when James says it he would say anything to get reg out of that house .
"Okay dear- take care of James here- will ya?" Fleamont asked quietly.
"I will" Regulus let a small smile slip his mouth.
"Well then we will wait at the station and you can come to us , you don't have to but we will be waiting for you if you decided to go " Effie smiled little sadly.
"Thank you- I - I was concerned that you'd hate me so thanks for not hating me I guess" it honestly just slipped out, he did not meant to say that.

"oh dear, come here" She hugged him gently as a tear fall down his face.
And he just let himself be geld for once.
"We're gonna go now okay?"
"yeah okay" he nodded and smiled.
And they left.
It was just him in the room.
And another four stupid guys but they were all not really in a talkative mood since they were asleep.
Well one of them was unconscious so not really his fault .
Regulus felt alone.
Even when he was not alone at all.
Someone opened the door .
"Reg! Hey what happened ?? " It was Lily , she probably just came back from home, she was there for a weekend. She must have felt terrible when she found out like that.
"Hey- He fell down off a broom during the game but it'll be fine, he is supposed to wake up tomorrow." Regulus explained.
"Fuck I was so worried, the rumours are crazy - they told me he is nearly dead" Lily felt the immediate relief and hugged Regulus impulsively .
"Thanks for looking after him " She whispered 'it wasn't for you' he wanted to say but he didn't. He liked Lily , se just choose the only guy Regulus was in love with to date. But they were visibly in love so as long as James was happy , Regulus was happy too.
"Don't thank me - breathe for god's sake " Regulus laughed a little and Lily too.
"Yeah -okay-I'll try - I just ran all the way here"
"I can leave if you want to be here with him " Regulus whispered.
"Regulus you silly person- sit back down- don't leave because of me - leave if you feel you need to get some sleep or something but don't leave for my sake. I prefer you being here with me"
"Right sorry" Regulus sat back on the chair.
"We are friends right ? " She asked.
"I suppose if that's how you would call it- I don't really do friends." Regulus said and Peter woke up in that moment.
"You told that to James too" Peter murmured and opened his eyes.
"I did indeed" Regulus admitted
The tree of them talked for the whole night until they switched in the shift.
At first Lily fall asleep and Pete had very deep and philosophical conversation with Regulus and then Regulus fall asleep while Pete was telling him something incredibly boring.
They all were asleep by the morning just Lily woke up.
Regulus's head was on James's chest but he was still sitting on the chair.
James opened his eyes and saw Lily firstly, he was completely confused.
"Lily? What- what where -"
"Hey you're fine- you had accident , you fell of the broom just yesterday and you hit your head but you'll be okay" She said gently rubbing his arm.
James noticed Regulus's head on his chest and then he noticed Peter sitting on the other chair.
He turned to Lily confused.
"Oh - you have quite a lot companions as you can see- they are all asleep though, Remus and Sirius are just there " She pointed out and glanced over the other bed, Sirius was curled up in Remus's arms, sleeping deeply.
"Have -you slept ?" James asked taking Lily's hand as he smiled gently.
"Yeah I woke up just a few minutes ago"
"We were actually quite took turns guarding you, it wasn't really necessary though" She laughed lightly.
Regulus started waking up and when he realised that his head fell down on James, he immediately lift his head .
"Shit sorry I did not meant to do that -fuck-" Before James got to say anything Regulus continued.
"Oh shit - hi ! - you're awake " Regulus said cheerfully still feeling embarrassed that he fall asleep like that but James did not seem to mind at all, well of course he did not but Lily seemed very casual about it too.
Well Regulus did not intent to do that so it was not his fault and Lily surely knew that too.
