too young and irresponsible
"I'm here!" James yelled running from the corridor.
Sirius was lying in bed with Remus, who was already pretty tensed from the full moon.
"How's Reg ? I ran into Evan few minutes ago" Sirius asks immediately.
"He'll be fine . I hope he will" James said gently.
"I don't wanna interrupt but I would recommend to go now" Remus reminded them.
"Sorry Moony, we're going " James apologised and they all stood up.
"Do you need some help ?" Sirius asked when he noticed Remus's unstable walk but he just shook his head, he never does need anybody's help right.

The night was rough, Remus was well angrier than usual.

So everybody were pretty tired in the morning. Remus was curled up in the corner and not even Sirius dared to come closer.
Not because he wouldn't want to or feared to but he could tell Remus doesn't want him to right now.
They took the cloak and went outside before anyone would come.
They waited for Remus to come out with Pomfrey but James went straight to the hospital wing.
Regulus didn't sleep not even a moment, he couldn't somehow and when he heard the door opening he was actually surprised that it was morning already, it felt like hour to him .
"Hey" James creeped under the curtains.
"hi" Regulus whispered with a tired gasp.
"Have you slept ?" James asked and Regulus shakes his head, "well me neither" James smiled and sat at the chair next to him. The food was still there untouched.
"Weren't hungry ?" James asks with a little smile on his face to let Regulus know that it was okay, that he wasn't mad or confronting him about it .
"No.." Regulus said with a shame in his voice, he was so embarrassed that he couldn't bring himself just eat it.
"Do you want something else ? I can get it for you if you want " James said when he looked at the cold food that did not looked much good anymore.
"Maybe later" That meant no but it sounded better than simple no.
"how did it went ? The full moon ?" Regulus asked when there was too much of silence between them.
"It was rough night but it wasn't the worst" James said and Regulus noticed that there is a scratch on James's face. It was bleeding right on his cheek. James was turned with the other side to him so he didn't notice earlier.
Regulus gently turned his head with his hand .
"You're bleeding right here" Regulus said quietly pointing at the wound with his finger.
" What? Yes, well, sometimes he scratches too, it's nothing," James replied, but Regulus sat down and took the disinfection that Madam Pomfrey had left him there. "Look at me" said Regulus and James didn't complain and let Regulus disinfect his face.
"thanks" James said and Regulus gave him few little nods.
James loved when Regulus does that. It's like he wants to say something but he nods few times instead with a little smile of his.

Remus was there too now and Sirius with Peter were right behind.
Remus was talking with Peter so Sirius went to his brothers bed. It was the only one with closed curtains.
"Come in Sirius" Regulus says even though Sirius practically crept around with minimum of noises.
"How did you - never mind" James was amused by that , he saw it like Regulus had a superpower when it came to footsteps or even someone's breathing.
"Hey brother" Sirius entered seeing pale regulus laying there on the bed holding James's hand and stroking it gently, they didn't even realised until Sirius stare at their hands for a good few seconds.
"Well I'll go talk with Moony, you two can talk or just stare at each other if you wish" James joked a little and he left.
Regulus felt his hand leaving and it made him feel empty a little.
"So- death eater huh?" Sirius whispered like it was some kind of curse word.
"yeah" Regulus couldn't bring himself to say a whole sentence.
"Are you like a spy now or what ?" Sirius asked his questions jokingly but he desperately meant it.
"I didn't got a task yet, I won't get one for a while probably, I'm too young and unresponsible" Regulus said like he was offended by this by actually he was so glad that he doesn't have to do any of the shitty work yet..
yet..
"Well brilliant why did they made you one of them if you are too young and irresponsible" Sirius asked not really expecting an answer he was just angry about it. Reg was still his little brother and he had to go through something that Sirius escaped from.
"They were probably worried I'd want to leave to since they found out I was spending the summer with you and James" Regulus regretted saying it after he realised that it may sounded like it was because of them which well- it was kinda true but it would have happened even without it.
"did you ? Wanted to leave?" Sirius asks choosing his words carefully.
"No" Regulus says right after -"I wasn't planning on leaving if that's what you're asking"
"But did you want to leave?" Sirius asked and Regulus rolled his eyes. " Of course I did, why would I wanted to stay Sirius you know better that there is nothing good about that house so yes - I wanted to leave but that doesn't mean could" It made Regulus a little angry and frustrated but he calmed himself quickly when James came back.
"Okay- I'm sorry , just a question " Sirius said and James took over the chair next to the bed again.
"It's fine" Regulus said and Sirius went back to check on Remus after a while.

"You have to eat something darling " Madam Pomfrey cleaned up the plate with the food from yesterday.
Regulus didn't say anything at first but then he looked at James.
"Could I maybe eat the breakfast with James in the Great Hall today ?" Regulus asked and James continued stroking Regulus's hair as he smiled.
"If here James will take care of you the whole time then I could allow that, but you won't go alone anywhere you haven't eaten anything in a week you could faint again or just feel dizzy" She said and Regulus nodded.
So they went to the Great hall together, Regulus was actually feeling quite good, once he left the hospital wing the air felt so much easier to breathe.
He could even walk completely on his own without James' help.
The potions really helped. He was kind of nervous about the food thing, because he felt better since he was out of the room but his appetite hasn’t really got better.
He knew that James won't force him to eat if he won't feel like eating but it kept him motivated.
They sat down and there was a bunch of food on the table, James took a toast and Regulus just stare at it for a while.
He grabs a waffle after few minutes. He saw how it brightened James' face and instantly he couldn't just not eat it.
It wasn't so difficult was it ? It's just a food and he always eats eventually
. Like the night all that was happening with Lucius and Reg came back to Hogwarts.
It was the night James came to check on him on Sirius's request.
Barty brought him food that James gave him and he did ate it eventually later that night.
He took a bite of the waffle and it wasn't so bad, suddenly it did not felt bad at all, he just didn't know how to start and how to convince his brain that he could eat it.
Him and James talked while they ate. Regulus assumed that James did it to distract him from the food on purpose.
It kind of worked.
They just talked and Regulus was eating the food while the talking naturally and later he found out that he ate the whole thing.
