They both didn’t wanted to leave the bed in the morning. They just stayed like that—laying in their arms and feeling each other heartbeat.
„It’s too soon“ Albus said. „Yesterday, we were still 12“
Scorpius brushed his hand through Albus‘ hair. „We need to get up sometime“ he said. „The ceremony is tonight“
„I don’t want to graduate“
Scorpius chuckled. „We need to get up, Albus“
„It’s our last day together“ Albus said quietly with sadness in his voice. „I don’t want the day to end“
He kissed him on his head and hugged him tied—feeling his bare skin on his. „Me too“ he said. „I love you“ he wisperst in his ear
The echo of his voice repeated in Albus‘ mind—he’s never going to hear those words again

It seemed like a normal day for most of them—but some people in the common room were obviously exited and maybe even anxious about tonight’s event.
Albus drop down on the couch right next to Timothy. „What’s that?“ Albus asked confused after seeing what his friend has done for magic
A tiny elephant was walking on the table. Maybe one centimetre big—it was shimmering blue and looked like a little patronus.
„It’s my little friend, Alan. I learned that spell a few years ago, isn’t he adorable?“
„You called him Alan?“ Albus asked
„It’s a she“ he answers.
„You called her Alan?“ he asked again. „and what is this even for?“
„I don’t know, can’t I just play with my baby elephant a little?“ he took her back to his wand and Alan disappeared Form the table. „Besides. There are a lot of useless spells“
„I know but—„
„Can you stop?“ Scorpius asked. „No one cares about a stupid baby elephant“
Timothy and Albus both went quiet. „Someone’s in a mood“ Timothy said
„You okay?“ Albus asked and placed his hand on his boyfriends knee
„I‘m fine“ he said. „It’s nothing“
Albus noticed in his eyes—it’s not nothing. So he took his hand and they both went back to their dorm.
When Albus closed the door, the first thing Scorpius did was pushing I’m against it and kissing him. As he slowly went to to his neck, Albus was able to catch his breath again.
„I don’t know what’s going on, but keep going“
And he did. Afterward, they were laying in bed again just like in the morning—with no interested in getting up.
„What was that about?“ Albus asked as Scorpius layed on his chest. „You seemed upset“
He exhaled loudly and sat up. „Mcgonagall asked me to do a speech tonight“ he said. „she kinda asked me last minute because the head girl of Gryffindor was suppose to do it, but she lost her voice so she asked me“
„And that’s…bad?“
„I don’t have anything planned, and I can’t speak in front of people, I get nervous, then I stutter, it’s horrible“
„hey, don’t worry“ Albus placed his hand on his boyfriends bare shoulder and kissed his neck. „We can do this together, we can write a speech and we could say it together, what do you think?“
„You would do that?“ he asked.
„I love you“ he said quietly

Three hours have passed, and they finally got their speech done. „What time is it?“ Albus asked
„Shit“ he answered. „The ceremony Beginns in one hour“ he said and quickly got up.
„my parents must be here by now“ Albus said. They ran down stairs and the common room was already empty.
They got dressed very fancy, everyone was already in the great hall.
„there they are“ Albus said and pointed to his parents who were talking to Lily. „Let’s get our Robe‘s“
They went to the room behind the great hall were almost everyone who graduates today were looking for their robes. Albus’ and Scorpius‘ Robe were dark green with silver details, while Eudora‘s was yellow with black details
„Well, you two look handsome“ she said. „I‘m so exited, I can’t wait to get out of here“
Ginny and Harry Potter walked down the stairs to look for their son, but before they could even start talking to him, Rose was on her way
„Ginny, Harry, how are you?“ Rose asked was she walked towards them and Albus gave Scorpius an annoyed expression.
„Wow, you look Beautiful“ Ginny said kindly. „Your Parents are also about to come“ she said
„Awesome“ she looked over her shoulder and Polly was standing right behind her. „have you met my girlfriend yet?“ she asked
„Polly Chapman, pleasure to meet you“ she said and shook Ginny‘s hand
Now Albus was even more annoyed. „I haven’t, nice to meet you too“ Ginny said. „I didn’t knew you had a girlfriend“
„Oh, Albus hasn’t told you? I thought he had a very strong opinion about it“ she said. „don’t you, Albus?“
He didn’t say anything. He just walked away straight to Eudora and Timothy while Scorpius was standing awkwardly with them.
„He really hates me“ Polly said. „And I tried to be nice to him“
„Well, after six years of literally torture, I can’t blame him for hating you“ Scorpius said cold. „Was nice to see you again, Mr. And Mrs. Potter“
he was About to leave when Ginny still wanted to talk to him „You‘re leaving soon, right?“ She asked and he turned around to face her
„Tomorrow, yes“ he said
„So, this is the last time we‘re seeing you?“ she asked And Scorpius can’t explain it—but something in his head just made klick.
He looked back and saw Albus talking to his friends, he seemed so happy around them, but Scorpius knows that he’s dying inside „Yea“ he said quietly but still kept his eyes on Albus. „Would you excuse me please“ he said and went straight to Albus
Albus Didn’t even saw him coming. „This is our last day“ Scorpius said
He turned around. „I know“ Scorpius looked anxiously around and saw that Timothy and Eudora were about to leave. But he took Albus’ hand and walked with him out of the room, and out of the great hall till they were in the hallway were no one else was at the moment
„Are you okay?“ Albus asked as he saw tears burning up in his boyfriends eyes.
They thought they were alone in the hallway, but a hand grabbed both of them and guided them somewhere else.
„We really need to fucking talk“ Timothy said and shoved them into a broomstick closet
It sounded like something outside the door fell on the floor, but Timothy didn’t seemed to care. „I‘ve been quiet for a very long time now, and my girl told me not to say it, but I have to“ he said to them
„What was that?“ Scorpius asked as he noticed the weird sound too
„Scor, I Love you, but you act like Albus is the only person you‘re leaving“ he said and placed his hand on his shoulder. „Eudora is unbelievably sad, and all you care about is Albus, that’s seems pretty selfish, you know“
„Selfish?“ Scorpius asked harsch. „You have no idea how fucking scared and upset I am to leave all of you“
Albus kept looking at the door because the sound caught him off guard.
„I‘m sorry that I’m sad I’m leaving my boyfriend, who I love, you‘re right, i‘m so fucking selfish“
Albus tried to opened the door, but then he noticed where the sound came from. „You guys“ he said nervously
„I am sad I’m leaving, I will miss all of you so much, you have really no idea. But if you ever call me selfish again, I swear I-„
„You guys!“ Albus shouted and he finally got their attention. „The door won’t open, we‘re stuck“
Timothy tried to open the door stronger. It still won’t open. „We have to be in the great hall by now“
At the same time, Eudora sat in the great hall while the people of Ravenclaw went to the front to get their certificate. Mcgonagall said their names and they went to her, shake her hand and then went to the next teacher to hand it to them.
The Hufflepuff‘s were next, and after that the Slytherins—but there’s still no sign of the boys
Anxiously, Eudora looked at the row behind her and saw Rose. „Have you seen Scorpius, Albus or Timothy?“ she asked
„Uh, I think they went into the hall like twenty minutes ago“ she said. „Why? Are they not here?“
„No, theses fucking idiots“ she said. „Where are they?“ he asked herself
„Congratulations to all the Ravenclaws and their hard work they did the past seven years“ Mcgonagall spoke. „the next house, would be the Hufflepuffs, I say you name and you get your certificate“ she said and started to say names
During that, the boys tried everything to open the door. Timothy almost broke his wrist because he didn’t stop to hit the door.
„Does none of you guys have a wand?“ Scorpius asked frustrated
„Nope“ they answered. „We‘re stuck in here forever“ Timothy said
„And it’s all your fault“ Albus said pissed. „You just had to lock us in here“
„I didn’t know we would get stuck in here!“
„Enough“ Scorpius said and layed against the wall. „Can any of you do Wandless magic?“ he asked
„I only can do Alan“ Timothy said. „Oh my god, Alan!“ he shouted exited
„Who’s Alan?“
„His weird little Elephant thing, Albus“ he said while Timothy tried to get him. „Why do we need him right now?“
„I sent him to Eudora, then she could help us“
„Eudora LaRonto“ McGonagall’s voice echoed through the great hall and people started to clap for her
She got on front, and shook the hands of her teachers. In the crowd of people, she saw her parents proudly waving at her while she walked down and was about to sit on her chair again—when all of the sudden a weird little baby Elepahnt found his way to her
„Alan?“ she wisperst to herself. „You got to be fucking kidding me“ she didn’t even care that hundred of people were watching her right now, she just started running behind Alan who guided her to the closet were the boys were stuck
They bangt at the door and shouted if someones there.
„this got to be a joke“ she said thru the door
„Eudora!“ they shouted. „We‘re stuck in here! Do you have your wand?“ Timothy asked She looked on the floor and saw the door nob laying there.
„Yes I have my wand“ she said and took the door nob from the floor. „But I don’t need it“ she placed the nob back to where it belongs and turned it around
All three boys tumbled outside in relief. „I can breath air again“ Scorpius said and Timothy gave his girlfriend a kiss
„Guys! We need to hurry“ she said and they started to run again
„Scorpius Malfoy“ Mcgonagall said and the people und the crow were about to clap when they noticed he’s not coming to the front.
Draco Malfoy, who gave away the certificate‘s looked around and couldn’t see his son anywhere.
„Scorpius Malfoy?“ Mcgonagall asked again The doors of the great hall got open once again and the group ran to the front.
„I‘m here“ Scorpius said and shook McGonagall’s hand out of breath
„Where have you been?“ His father asked
„Don’t worry about it“ he took the certificate and gave his dad a big hug while the crowd clapped even more
„Albus Potter“ Mcgonagall said and he stepped to the front. „I‘m very proud of you, Potter“ she said quietly to him
As he walked to Draco, he didn’t gave him a normal handshake. He high-fived him and then went for a hug which made everyone in the crowd laugh a little
The whole time were Scorpius sat down and watched the house Gryffindor get their certificates—he wanted to hold Albus‘s hand, but out of nervousness his hands were sweaty and he couldn’t stop shaking his leg. After that, he’s gonna give a speech to all the the people, good thing Albus will be right next to him
„It’s okay“ Albus said—because he noticed. „You got this“ he took his hand anyways, which gave Scorpius a little more confidence „I love you“ he said
„I love you too“
Then it was time, Albus was about to get to the podium with him, but Scorpius told him not to—he confident he can do this
He took a deep breath before he began to speak. „I think we can all agree that the last seven years here were something we can never forget, even when we went thru hell sometimes, we could still laugh and have fun together. It was Scary sometimes, not knowing what happens when we finished the seven years and going out into the real world, but now—it doesn’t seem so scary anymore. Because we all found people here who will always stay by your side and we found friendship that will stay for a live time—and some people are unfortunately not here tonight. It was a pleasure to meet all of you guys, and hopefully you found the right way go“ the crowed started clapping and Scorpius could even see some tears in certain peoples eyes

Rose got hugged really tight by her parents. „We‘re so proud of you Rosi“ Hermione said
„Where the hell have you been?“ Harry asked his son
„That’s a long story“ he said. Scorpius appeared behind him—more out of breath than when they ran into the great hall. „you okay?“ Albus asked
„I can’t feel my legs“
He laughed. „You did great, Timothy cried“ he said
„I did not“ Timothy walked towards them with Eudora. „He’s lying, shut up“
„He cried like a little baby“ Eudora said and laughed too. „Excuse me, Mr. and Mrs. Potter, but I have to borrow them for a second“
„For what?“ Scorpius asked
„And since when are you so kind?“ Albus asked
„We need to do a photo together“ she said. „That guy is leaving tomorrow and we don’t have one photo were we all like like decent human beings“ she said and pointed to Scorpius
Albus exhaled loudly. „Fine“ he said and Eudora took both of their hands and walked with them to the other corner of the great hall
They all put their arms around each others shoulder and smiled into the Camera. It’s a pretty photo, because you can clearly see their closeness they builders over the years. When Scorpius looked at it directly, he felt a wave of saddens overcome him—it’s never going to be like this again…this is their last day together
„You okay?“ Albus asked quietly as he saw the tears burning up in his eyes
„No“ he said and now you can hear the beginning of a mental breakdown in his voice. „I love you“ he said and Albus hugged him tight
This was a sight for Timothy and Eudora to leave them alone. „It’s gonna be okay“ Albus said
„No, it’s not“ he answers and the tears were dropping down his cheeks They stayed like this for a while.
„So…is that it?“ Abus asked quietly after Scorpius got his feelings together again. „Is this our breakup?“ He Lift his head up to look him in his teary eyes—because Scorpius was not the only one crying.
„Yea“ he said quietly. „I think so“
„Scorpius…thank you for making me feel thing I never though I could feel“ he said. „You are the most caring and lovelies person I’ll ever know…and words can’t describe the love I feel for you“
„I love you since the first time you told me your name, and if we‘re meant to be together, then we‘ll find someday each other again. I never thought leaving you is going to be so hard—but it’s killing me. I love you and it’s killing me, Albus“
They shared one last kiss—and then they went different ways. With an empty feeling in their hearts that’s never going to be filled again
