The last few weeks felt like heaven for Scorpius—it’s summer all over again in mid November. He kept walking around with a smile on his face
As Scorpius entertet the hospital wing, he only saw a boy from Hufflepuff laying in one of the beds.
„Scorpius, what brings you here?“ Madam Pomfrey asked as she came out of her office.
„Are you busy? Should I come later?“
„No that’s alright, what is is about?“
„I just wanted to asked you about the lesson you planned to do this year, I haven’t heard anything yet and I just wanted to ask“ he said
She smiled. „Let’s talk in my office“
Pomfrey‘s office was small—but different from Eda‘s office. Scorpius was never in here, it seemed strange—the walls were filled with different kind of potions in weird colours. „I talked to the headmaster and she said I can start in January“ Pomfrey said proudly. „She‘s going to make an announcement very soon, I actually planned to talk to you first about it because I know how much you‘re interested“ she said and walked towards her table and opened a drawer. „And because of that, I figured I could give you some informations about healer schools, there’s one in New York, a lot of famous healers went there, it’s the Marie-Angle-school for healers“
she handed him a book were on the cover was written the name of the school in big words—the book Scorpius is looking for months „I‘ve heard of it, I looked for that book everywhere I just couldn’t find it“ he said and slides his finger through the book. „Where did you get it?“
„well, I went to that school when I was eighteen“ she said. „It’s a good school, and I actually could get you a place, I could write a letter to them if you want me to“
Scorpius eyes went bigger and he almost let the book fall on the floor. „You would do that?“ he asked. „You really don’t have to if it’s to much trouble-„
„Trouble? It would be a pleasure“ she said and smiled. „You‘re a good student, you get easily a place there“ she said. „Keep the book, I have tons of those, and I’ll come to you because of the appointment for the first lesson“

Albus sat down in front of him in the great hall. „So, I was thinking-„
„That’s a new one“ Eudora said and Timothy had to cough his drink out of laugher
„Shut up I’m talking to my boyfriend“ Scorpius blushed when Albus said that. „We never had a date“
„We had a lot of dates back in summer“ he said
„No, we were just hanging out, it was nothing official and we didn’t plan anything. We need to go on a classical date with plans and everything“ he said. „So, Saturday night we‘re going to sneak out and go to London, I have something planed“
Scorpius had his mouth lightly open in disbelieve—he never thought Albus would do something like that. „We sneak out?“ he asked. „What have you planned?“
„That’s a surprise“ he said and smirked
The entire great hall went quiet as Mcgonagall stepped forward. „I have two announcements to make“ she starts. „Madam Pomfrey is doing a lesson for those who want to learn the magic of healing, she‘ll start in the beginning of January so if you‘re interested then Poppy is always in her office by the hospital wing“ People cheered by this and Scorpius is so happy about this. „The Second is, back in 1994 was the Triewizard tournament in Hogwarts. As most of you already know, it didn’t ended well“ her voice changed by the memory. „But with the tournament, there was a winter ball included called the Yule ball. The professors and me all agreed that this would be a good idea to do it this year too“ the hall was filled with cheering as Mcgonagall left
„you‘re going to do this Im assuming“ Albus said. „The healer thing“
„Totally“ Scorpius said exited. It sounded like fun and he can’t stop imagining Scorpius finally bringing his dream come true. „What about the Yule ball?“
„What about it?“
„Are we…going?“ he asked unsure if this is a dumb question or not
But for his sake, Albus smiled. „Sure“

Scorpius walking around the bookshelf’s in the library focused on one specific book—it was not the book of the school in New York for once. He just found it between old schoolbooks and there were a lot of spells written in it—some of them he never heard of and their description When he slowly pulls his wand out, he wanted to test the colovaria charm—it’s suppose to make object in a different colour, which is interesting because it’s so useless
He quietly says the spell to himself and the book he’s holding tune from a sage green into a light purple.
„That was cool“ Albus voice said right behind him. „Why would you ever need that spell?“
„I don’t know, but it’s pretty“
Albus moved his hand into the other boys cheek and pulled him closer into a kiss. To their luck, they were in a corner of the library were no one ever comes because this area is filled with boring books who no one ever reads.
Albus pushed him against a bookshelf and smiled into the kiss. Scorpius’ hands were in Albus neck and his wand was pointing right towards the other bookshelf’s behind them
They were both so focused on their deep kiss, they only noticed seconds after a very loud noise what they have done.
Scorpius wand must have accidentally made a exploded spell because three bookshelf’s were on the floor now and people were staring Shockley at it
„Fuck“ Albus said slowly

„You blew up the library?“ McGonagall’s voice was echoing through her office. „I would‘ve expect that from you Albus, but Scorpius?“ You could hear Mr Malfoy trying to hold his laugh in the background.
„we‘re sorry“ Scorpius said
„Well, you should be, how did that even happen?“ Scorpius looked scared to his boyfriend. „I was—distracted“ he tried to hide the panic in his voice. „I didn’t noticed were my wand was pointing at and then—kaboom“
Albus laughed. „It’s not his fault, I distracted him, it was dumb I shouldn’t have done than“
„Well, it was dumb, and for that you‘ll get detention for the rest of the year“
Scorpius let out a quiet squirt. „Detention? I Never had detention“ he said Shockley
„Well, you also never blow up the library, I guess there’s a first time for everything“ Mcgonagall said. „Students will not be able to use the library for at least a few weeks because of you two“
Scorpius glazes over at his boyfriend meanly. „Don’t look at me like it’s my fault! It was your wand“ Albus said offended
„You—distracted me“ he answer in the same tone. „if you haven’t—done that, that this wouldn’t have happen“
„Stop acting like you didn’t liked it“ Albus said and could see Scorpius cheeks turning pink
„It doesn’t matter who’s fault it was, what matters is that students are not able to visit the library anymore and you got detention for the rest of the year“ she said. „Why is it always you two?“
„But it was an accident“ Mrs Potter said. „You can’t punish the boys for something they didn’t want to happen“
„You‘re Right, Ginny, I can’t. But I don’t punish them because it was an accident, I punish them because of the reason it happened“ she look directly at the boys. „If you could keep your lips from each other, something like this wouldn’t have happened“
The went quiet until you heard a high pitched voice from Albus. „sure“ he said trying to hold his laughter while Scorpius turned bright red
She dismissed them and Albus was the first one out of the door. He leaned against the wall besides the office and his eyes were tearing up because of laughter „shut up that’s not funny“ Scorpius said while trying to hold his laughed himself. „We got detention because of you!“
„Because of me?“
„Yes!“ Scorpius shouted.
„it was your wand“ Albus shouted back but still with a smile on his face
„You kissed me!“ he said before realising that the parents are standing right behind them
„So much to »it won’t happen again«“ Mr Malfoy said. „Since when?“ he asked at pointed the finger between the two boys
„Halloween“ Scorpius mumbled. „I’m sorry, I was going to tell you! I actually was going to tell you back in summer but I didn’t know how you‘ll react so I-„
he talked fast without taking a breath until Mr Malfoy interrupted him „no need to, I already knew in summer“ he said. „You didn’t hide it really well, so…“
„oh“ he said. „Alright then“
„Hey you tosser!“ Eudora‘s voice echoed through the corridors and everyone tuned around. „People are saying you blew up the library?“
„Albus did!“
„fuck off!“

The great hall seemed empty this time when the boys arrived. It was almost dinner time and they sat down twenty minutes before. While walking through the corridors Scorpius had a urge to take Albus hand in his—it seemed so simple to do so since they’re out, but having an new relationship in a school were people already don’t like you very much seemed like another point for bullying you—so he didn’t
„Malfoy, Potter“ Mcgonagall appeared besides them. „I have you appointment for your detention“ she said and gave us both a letter. „You won’t be the only one, Miss LaRonte and Miss Chapman are gonna be there too“
„Polly?“ Scorpius asked. „Do we have to?“
„I‘m afraid so“ she said and Scorpius bumped his head on the table
Polly Chapman is the meanest and bitchies Gryffindor in this whole entire school. For their first years here she called them names—her favourites were „Voldemorts son“ and „Slytherin squib“
Albus looked at the letter and his gaze changed into disappointment. He exhaled. „This Saturday“ he said. „But I planed our date on this day“
„It’s okay, we do it on another day“
„It’s not okay, I already planed everything“ he said. „This is my fault, innit?“
„It‘s both of our fault. What did you plan anyway?“
He looked at him with a smirk on his face. „The gallery of Wizard history“ he said. „I was thinking we sneak out in the evening when it’s already closed. I kinda have a free pass because of my dad, but that was the only day they would‘ve let me, and now…i‘m so sorry“
„Don’t be“ he said even tho Scorpius would‘ve loved there when everyone already left. „We just do something else on an other day“

The second they arrived the classroom for their detention, both of them regretted every life decision they ever choose in they entire life.
Polly Chapman rolled her eyes when she saw the two boys—Eudora on the other hand seemed very happy to see them „So glad I don’t have to be alone, it smells like bitch in here“ Eudora said and pointed directly to Polly
„What have you done?“ Scorpius asked and sat on a table far far away from the Gryffindor
„Haven’t done my homework like—ever“ she said. „And you blew up the library, I still can’t believe it“ she said and chuckled. „I expected that form Albus but not you“
„Why does everyone expect that From me? I‘m not that big of a trouble maker!“ Eudora laughed loudly because that was probably one of the biggest lies that came out of Albus Potter‘s mouth.
They were in an old classroom no one used in decades. It was full of dust and dirt. There were a lot of old book in the shelf’s and the tables and chaired looked like they‘ve been here since they found the castle. Mcgonagall entertet and you could hear her boots from a thousand miles away.
„Let this be your lesson“ she started. „The next time you start a fight in the middle of class or destroying the library, remember this detention were you can clean up this entire room till it looks like it’s shining“ she said Everyone grounded loudly after she left.
„You started a fight in the middle of class?“ Albus asked to Eudora. „why did you lie?“
„Yes, because a bitch wouldn’t stop talking about you guys“ she said extra loud for Polly to hear
„I just said it’s weird!“
„What exactly?“ Eudora sounded like she would go for round number two. „it’s not weird that Albus and Scorpius are together, it’s weird that you care so much“
„Whatever“ she said annoyed. „I mean, everyone already knew they‘re gay anyway, so“ she throws a bunch of books on the table from the shelf.
„What do you mean by that?“ Albus asked actually curries, because he can’t imagine someone thought he was gay when he never told anyone.
„Well, you two always seemed pretty close, and you show that kind of vibe“ she said. „It was always kinda obvious, the real question is tho, how did you never noticed?“
„The real question is what’s gonna happen to you if you won’t shut your mouth“ Eudora stepped dangerously closer to her. „The next time you‘re gonna say something about my friends, I’m gonna tight you up on a tree, hit you with a stick and then throw you into the lake, got it?“
Before even realising it, Polly threw a punch right on her face. Eudora grabbed Pollys hair and pulled her on the ground so she can keep hitting her face over and over again. Albus was the first who reacted and tried to pulled Eudora away from her—Scorpius helped
of course There was blood on her hand and Mcgonagall entered to the perfect time. „What is going on here?“

„Well, at least Polly can do something about her big as nose now“ Albus said and laughed They were walking down the corridors back to their dormitory. It was passt midnight when they finished cleaning up the classroom.
„Sorry that I messed up our date by getting us into detention“ Scorpius said quietly
„Don’t be, I distracted you so it’s my fault“ Albus said and took his boyfriends hand in his. „I might have a different plan“
„And what would that be?“
Albus smirk at him and changed the direction from where they were going. Scorpius was right behind him, keep asking him where they were going.

The sky was cloud free and you could perfectly see the stars. The grass seemed cold but they didn’t mind—the lake made wave sounds which kinda made the whole thing even better. Scorpius slowly ate his ice cream they got form the kitchen and look up to the sky while his boyfriend was laying next to him.
„It’s not the right time yet“ he said. „I think the constellation is on the other side of the earth right now“ he said
„But I wanna see it“ he said. „That’s so cool that you‘re named after the zodiac sign“ he took the last spoon of his ice cream and then placed it besides him. „How did your parents even came up with that name?“
„well, My grandfather, my moms father, was a Scorpio, he died in the war back then. And my second name Hyperion was the last name of my mom‘s best friend who also died years before i was born“ he explained
„And I thought my parents were the only weird ones naming us after dead people“ Scorpius laughed about it.
It was silence for a while. Scorpius turned his head to look at Albus and saw that his green eyes were shining under the moon. „Albus“ he said quietly and the Potter turned his head to face him too. „I-„ the words were stuck in his throat . „I really like you“
Albus took his hand in his. „I really like you too“
