Chapter 1

Taking a deep breath I sigh, running a hand through my hair as I effortlessly shift back into my 'base' form. I've been out running as XLR8 all day, trying to clear my mind of my blasted testing anxiety.

My stupid. Fucking. Testing. Anxiety.

It had held me back severely as a child, and it's acting up big time, and over a math test. I'm good at math, it's been my main good subject since I was a kid.

"Ben?"

"I'll be fine Chill. Just anxiety."

"Trouble."

"What?" I falter, stretching slightly, shivering as phantom hands take my biceps. "B-be patient alright? I know I had XL's form but it was still me doing the running. Let me stretch, you never do it right when your in control and you always end up pulling something."

"Child." He yanks slightly but the Omnitrix flashes a warning red, threatening to put them on time out. I know there just concerned, but they have really hurt the body before. He's managed to pull thing I didn't know could be pulled, and I don't really want to have to bother Gwen tonight. Once I feel my body relax a bit I relinquish a bit of control, letting Chill lead the way. It's them who's sensing... whatever it is that's got them in a panic. As we round a corner however my heart completely stops. On the forest floor covered in blood; their own blood, was a small, shuddering child.

"Sh-shit!" I stammered, pulling control back and rushing to the boys side. It's definitely his own blood that he's drenched in, as well as a second stomach that makes me almost physically sick.

Seamen.

"Shit! Mother fucking pedophilic monstrous bastard!" I snarl, throwing a punch at a nearby tree. The bark splinters as I use a bit of manna to shield my skin, driving my arm nearly to the elbow.

"Holy fuck Tennyson." Despite the air of confidence Albedo is trying to keep, I can see slight fear in his eyes as I turn to him, glaring. "I- Must admit I share your rage, but... I did not think you pulled punches."

"I train my body so that I can truly become one with my aliens. It means nothing more or lass than theirs do." I growl. "Now I'm not in the mood to fight, I have to figure out how to fix this!"

Quickly I force myself to calm down, searching in my mind for any memory on healing spells, placing my hands over the small form and chanting a few though none seems to be doing much.  Before I can respond, Albedo takes to his other side, cussing as his Onmitrix scans the boy, sitting cross legged on the ground next to him. He's deep in thought, but it's not long before he gives a nod.

"Omnirtix, calibrate to the boy's DNA."

"Calibration set to-"

"I know damn it, but there must be a way! Wh-what if he were to have offspring, give a model to them?" Albedo sneers and I falter a bit.

"Child shares no DNA with Ben Tennyson."

"Then calibrate my share of his biology and fix the boy! Return me to my galvanic form and heal the brat!"

"A-Albedo?" My voice is hardly a whisper and he doesn't respond as his watch scans the boy again.

"Blood type incompatible."

"You can calibrate for that!"

"Re-calibrating blood type require-"

"Omnitrix! Override Code: Alpha-72-beta- B. Re-calibrate body's blood type!" I order, letting out a pained yell as a needle drives itself into my wrist. The feeling of it sucking my blood, ruining it through re-calibration then pumping it into my body hurts, and I can tell Albedo is in no better condition.

Panting I collapse to my hand and knees, realizing why the Omnitrix had tried to warn us. My body burns with a fever, and I fell like I'm going to be sick, but I can distantly hear the Omnitrix confirm completion, making a bleary mental note to get my new blood type tested. Albedo is the first to recover, placing a hand on the boy. As I glance up he offers me a rare, soft smile. "Consider this a form of due payment Tennyson, and know I would never harm this child. I expect you to teach him well."

"Albedo what are you doing?"

"Omnitrix, release me from this form, and combine DNA with the injured child. Do not corrupt his DNA as you have mine, mix it and make the boy his child."

"Re-calibrating." The watch dial spun a bit before blinking and flashing red, watch collapsing to the ground before quickly latching to the boy's arm. As it dose it shifts a bit, changing to fit his wrist before surrounding him in light at first it's a deep red, the color of Albedo, but soon the light turns green. Though the watch has shifted to an even darker red, the color of garnets. Not only that the sliver metal has turned a brilliant gold, to match his personality I suppose.

As the light fades I feel my chest ease as I take in the boy. He's still tiny; it's hard to get a read on his age for his size, and he's visibly somewhat malnourished, but he's stabilized and is sleeping peacefully. His skin is a sandier tone then it had been, though is still darker than mine. A mid range tone of brown. His hair is pitch black, and I can tell that it will be rather beautiful when his health returns; naturally floofy, though the entirety of the 'bangs area' has gone a snow white.

"DNA corruption destroyed."

"What?"

"Unknown secondary soul shard was eradicated. Cause unknown."

"Send that report to Azmuth, see if he cant figure it out. Also report to Azmuth that Albedo has been contained in his own watch, and... That he saved a child's life today."

"Report forwarded."

Kneeling next the the boy I gently took his arm fiddling with it a bit. "Secondary Omnitrix, limit user to 'Original 10' Roster, substituting Ghost Freak with Cannonbolt. Do not unlock further aliens unless directly scanned, at least not until he's older. And initiate time out mode."

"Responsible."

Azmuth's voice makes me jump and I almost trip over the boy in my shock.

"Azmuth!" I glare softly, though there isn't really any anger in it. "You scared me!"

"I figured I would check things out in person. So this is the boy..." He nodded, scanning him with a strange device before giving him a nod. "Harrison James-Sirius Potter. Aged three. Soul shard was an object known as a Horrocrux."

"That... That just sounds bad." I shudder, gently petting the boys hair.

"I got the report the moment your watches did a blood re-calibration." Azmith hums, imputing a command into the watch. "How long have you had that manual override code then?"

"I-I've figured a few out." I admitted, taking a deep breath. "The math behind them's not that difficult. Not sure why a math test is setting off the test anxiety so bad."

This genuinely seems to catch Azmith off guard.

"Not... Difficult?"

"Nah, even without Gray Matter it didn't take long to crack that one, and I mean you have to know by know I've given myself master control. Er... Kind of.  I cant transform between forms, but I don't have to use the dial. It's... Habit really, and I kind of... Like it this way. Like I can go to Heatblast, then turn to me and turn into like Chill. But they have to be willing or I'll miss transform. That's part of it by the way, sometimes they don't want to fight."

"Tennyson, it took me menials to code the Omnitrix."

"And I hacked it when I was ten more or less by accident." I shrug.

"You don't get it do you? Mathematically, you are a genius."

"You know that means a lot coming from you."

"I'll let you know that Albedo's Aliens are now registering as sentient, though this watch is still separate to your own enough that they will likely react to the boy similar to how yours did to you."

"Good. He cant scan from my watch can he?"

"No, I made sure that wouldn't work. I also have it set to give him medical attention that should get him as healthy as he can be in a few days with proper care."

"Yeah, Azmuth... You wouldn't mind helping me explain this one would you?"

"I suppose that would be fair." He nods. watching as I gently picked up the boy; Harry, smiling softly as we are teleported to my home
