Chapter 1
Amelie Black was one when her mother was murdered and two when her father was thrown into Azkaban. She was sent to the Malfoy's, despite the protests from Remus Lupin and Andromeda Tonks. Raised in a strict household meant that Amelie didn't know anything outside of Death Eater ideals and the thought she had to be a Slytherin. 9 years after her Father's imprisonment, she's sent to Hogwarts and the Malfoy's hope years of exposing her to their beliefs will make her redeem her parents placement into Gryffindor.
Amelie's mother - Grace Marsh - came from a long line of pureblood Slytherins and Ravenclaws' and Sirius had Black blood in him. They had hopes for Amelie, and the Sorting Hat took it's time with her but she was a proud Gryffindor. After her first year at Hogwarts, The Malfoy's ignore Amelie, letting the house elves care for her. Luckily, the Weasley twins had quickly befriended her after releasing the younger girl had no friends. Her Hogwarts experience became much more...exciting, after that.
However, when Harry Potter comes to Hogwarts...things get a lot more serious and in her fourth year, her father has escaped and is supposedly out to kill her and Harry. Yes...things had gotten more serious. But, Fred Weasley was always there, and always would be. He had shown her a life she didn't even know she could have and she wanted him by her side forever.
