Colors are hard
The oven made a small ding sound to indicate it was done, Cosmo got the oven mitts and was about to take out the cupcakes.
“Hol up, you're not touching that”, Sprout said.
”Why?”, Cosmo asked.
“You're a clumsy dunce”, Sprout said.
“Yeah.. You lit the kitchen on fire earlier..”, Ginger said.
“... Fine, but only because Ginger said it!”, Cosmo said.
Cosmo handed the oven mitts to Sprout, Ginger opened the oven door. Sprout took out the cupcakes, the smell of chocolate wafting in the air.
“Damn... I taste so good”, Cosmo said.
“What?”, Sprout asked.
“Nothing, nothing.. Mind your own business, lil bro”, Cosmo said.
Sprout placed the cupcake tray on the table, as Ginger took another tray and placed the cupcakes there instead.
“Can I decorate now?”, Cosmo asked.
“Sure, hmmm... By the way, who's Astro?”, Ginger asked.
Since Ginger had been here for only two days now, it was understandable how she didn't know most of the toons.
“Astro is another main. Although he's more like a co-host to Dandy.”, Sprout said.
“Yeah! And he's so quiet... Hehehe”, Cosmo cooked up some devious plans.
“Oh, I see..”, Ginger said.
Cosmo took the special piping bags Sprout got from his toon handler, and took out a box of frosting.
“Which color should the frosting be?”, Sprout asked.
“Space theme, so it's gonna be blue”, Cosmo said.
Cosmo took out the light, sky blue frosting. Sprout took the frosting from him, as he took out a purple one instead
“No.. Space is purple, like galaxies”, Sprout said.
“No you dumbass, if the sky is blue. How would space be purple?”, Cosmo asked.
“Isn't space black?”, Ginger asked
“...”
“...”
“Why are you starting at me like that?”, Ginger asked.
“I'll just ask Astro, he's space theme so he'll probably know”, Sprout asked
“I still think space is blue...”, Cosmo asked.
With Astro, in the Astro map
Astro was sitting on one of the crates, his blanket was tossed aside. Showing his four arms, he was reading a book.
He wasn't scared of people seeing him here, since no body except his toon handler ever comes to visit him... Thinking of it, it's been awhile since he came.
He heard a ding of the elevator, it must be his toon handler. But to his shock and utter horror, it was Cosmo.
He quickly grabbed his blanket, and held it tightly in order not to show his arms.
“Astrooo!”, Cosmo called out.
Astro walked to the elevator, looking at Cosmo. And then looking at Sprout, he noticed the new toon.
“The Christmas event brought another one..?”, Astro asked.
“Hmm...?”, Ginger hummed
“Sorry, it's nothing..”, Astro said.
Astro thought about last year's Christmas, the way Bobbete begged the toon handlers to stay just a bit longer...
He then looked at Cosmo, and he gave a small smile. At least he isn't alone, that's always good.
“Astro, what's the color of space?”, Cosmo asked.
“Oh... Uhm.. Space is black, however the galaxies are usually purple or pinkish.. Although I haven't seen one in person..”, Astro said
“I thought space was blue..”, Cosmo said.
“HAH, knew it!”, Sprout said.
Ginger sighed.
“Why would space be blue, Cosmo?”, Astro asked.
Cosmo caressed Astro's face, which now laid in his brown palm. He looks at Astro, and his blue Creasant. Astro's felt Cosmo's warmth.
“Because... When I think of galaxies, I think about you!”, Cosmo said
“... What..?”, Astro asked
Astro pulled down his night cap over his face, so he could hide his obvious blush and his flustered expression.
Sprout looked at Ginger, as they gave each other 'the look' both knowing that Cosmo probably likes Astro.
