Glitchy
Astro looks at Cosmo, for a second too long. He saw a man, a strange, weird one that made him nervous.
“Thank you for the... Compliment”, Astro said.
“What compliment?”, Cosmo asked.
“...”
Astro pulled up his sheets up to his face, as he hid his face from Cosmo. What was he thinking? Does he really think he's worthy of praise?
“mhm... Cosmo, I think we should go now”, Sprout said.
Cosmo nodded his head, he could feel Astro being sad. He wasn't upset earlier, so it was probably Cosmo's fault, that was what Cosmo thought.
“Bye Astro, I'll make yours extra sweet!”, Cosmo said.
“... Sorry, bye”, Astro said.
And the baker trio walked back to the elevator, leaving Astro alone once more.
They arrived back at the cafeteria, and went on finishing the chocolate cupcakes, they got a bit cold since they were away so Ginger will reheat them.
Ginger took the cupcakes, and kept them back in the oven. Lowering the heat and time, after awhile the cupcakes were warm again.
“Cosmo, you can decorate”, Sprout said.
Cosmo took the frosting and a moon shaped fondant. As he gave each cupcake the same base.
Blue icing, one moon fondant, star shaped sprinkles and effort, since decorating was his favorite part of baking.
Cosmo decided to talk, because talking is fun and he decided to talk about his favorite flavor.
“My favorite flavor is chocolate!”, Cosmo said.
“Mine is-”, Sprout got cut off by Cosmo.
“Shut up, nobody cares”, Cosmo said.
Sprout looked annoyed at what the short little brown turd looking guy said, but he brushed it off.
“Mine is peppermint..!”, Ginger said.
“Nice!”, Cosmo said.
“This is very, very clear favouritism..”, Sprout grumbled.
“Shut up”, Cosmo said again
With Brightney and Vee, in the lobby.
Brightney looked at Vee, although her screen was glitchy and it occasionally turned blue. She was better than before.
Vee sat on one of the benches, the Christmas tree behind her created some shade since Christmas is still around.
“Vee... Are you okay?”, Brightney asked.
Vee looked at Brightney, as she sighed. Her arena twitching a bit.
“Yes, I am. I j-just need to dry-y-y off”, Vee stuttered.
Her screan flickered at random intervals, even shutting down occasionally which impared her speach.
“I guess I'll ask Dandy to not send you into the deeper floors..”, Brightney said
“I'm not as fragile as you-u-u think”, Vee said.
“I'll miss Bobbete”, Brightney said.
“She's a bit overbearing, but I'll... I-I-I”, Vee said.
“I know you're not actually glitching, you just don't want to say you'll miss her!”, Brightney said.
Vee showed a huge green 'X' on her screen to indicate that she doesn't want to talk to Brightney, mostly due to the face that Brightney was correct.
“You're such a cold meanie... But you're my best friend, and I'll love you no matter what!”, Brightney said.
Vee's screen flicked, as the huge green x disappeared. And showed her face, as she showed her smirk. Closest thing she has to a smile in her file assets. The glitching has stopped now.
“You're my friend too”, Vee said.
“Best friend?”, Brightney asked.
“Heh... Not even in your dreams”, Vee said
Brightney laughs, she is used to Vee's cold defenses, she finds it a bit endearing. Although this same behavior makes Shelly sad..
“By the way, I wanna talk to Shelly later. I promised we'd read an encyclopedia about Dinosaurs”, Brightney said.
“Wouldn't it be faster to just use me instead?”, Vee said.
“What's the fun in that?”, Brightney asked.
“... Nerd, plus Shelly isn't that fun to be around”, Vee mumbled.
“Hey! Shelly is very fun. You always talk bad about her..”, Brightney commented.
Vee sighed
”I just find her too... annoying and also clingy”, Vee said.
“You're so cold, Vee!”, Brightney poked at her.
